The 2025 Toyota Tundra is revving up for an even more thrilling off-road experience with the introduction of the new TRD Rally Package.
Inspired by the iconic Toyota trophy trucks of the 1990s, the TRD Rally Package brings retro flair to the modern Tundra with eye-catching decals in bold red, orange, and yellow hues—echoing the classic Baja racing livery. These vibrant colors continue into the cabin, highlighting the seats and dashboard with racing-inspired accents.
The TRD Rally Package isn’t just about looks; it includes substantial off-road upgrades carried over from the previous model year. It features rugged 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, Bilstein dampers for enhanced suspension performance, protective skid plates, and an electronically controlled locking rear differential for four-wheel-drive variants. Additionally, the package offers specialized driving modes designed for tackling rough terrains and crawling over obstacles.
For a personalized touch, buyers can choose from four exterior colors: Ice Cap (as shown), Magnetic Gray, Midnight Black Metallic, and Celestial Silver. The off-road-focused TRD Pro model also offers the exclusive Mudbath color, adding a unique edge to its aggressive look.
In addition to the TRD Rally Package, the 2025 Tundra lineup includes SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and Capstone models. These variants receive new comfort features, including massaging seats for the 1794, Platinum, and Capstone trims. A new wireless camera system for trailers is also available, streaming video to the digital rearview mirror via Wi-Fi for added convenience.
The Tundra continues to offer two powertrain options: a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 producing 389 hp (348 hp on SR grade) and a hybrid variant combining the same V-6 with an electric motor for a robust 437 hp. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, providing a towing capacity of up to 12,000 pounds, depending on the configuration.
Built on Toyota’s GA-F platform designed for body-on-frame vehicles, the Tundra offers a smooth ride with its double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear setup. Some models also feature rear air springs and adjustable dampers for enhanced comfort.
The Tundra is available in two four-door configurations: Double Cab with 6.5- or 8.1-foot beds and the larger CrewMax with 5.5- or 6.5-foot beds.
While Toyota has yet to announce the exact release date and pricing for the 2025 Tundra, enthusiasts can look forward to seeing this powerful and stylish off-roader in showrooms soon.
