Alpha Adryan
twenty six

Anger and sadness shine in his ocean blue eyes as he looks at her.

She presses Adonis closer to her, tightening her hold on him. Shecouldn't bare to continue looking at Adryan's face, because that look, that made her feel extremely guilty for keeping his son away from himfor too long.

"Is the baby mine?" He asks after few moments of silence.

"No" she lies.

"Do not lie to me Jade. I can smell both of our scents mixed with thebaby" he speaks, moving closer. His body now pressed against hers butcareful not to crush the sleeping child she held in her arms.

His face moves closer to hers, his lips nearing hers but he tilts his headto the side last minute so that his lips were aligned with her ear.

"Do you take me for a fool Jade?" He whispers into her ear causing herto breath come out in uneven patterns as her body shuddered withtingles.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" He asks her, now he had moved back, so that hewas still close to her but enough so that he could stare at Adonis’sleeping frame.

"It's a boy" she looks as Adryan stared back at her, she could seehappiness swimming in his eyes, but his eyes turn hard after a fewmoments.

"Why?" His voice hard but there was something else laced within them,a tinge of sadness seeping through his words.

Sadness hits her as well but it vanishes as soon as it came, because inthe end it was his own actions that drove her away in the first place."You know I had to, Do not act like you don't know anything. Don't youknow Adryan? It was because of you. It was your hot and cold attitudeto us being mates that drove me away in the first place.” She saysboldly, staring straight into his pair of hypnotizing ocean eyes.

She could see how her words had managed to anger him, as hisbreathing pattern changed visibly, his ocean eyes turning darker as hestared back at her. He was fighting for control, as his fists tightened."What's his name"? He asks her, after he had successfully gained backhis control.

She stares at him, thinking in her head whether she should let himenjoy getting to know his sons name after what he had done to her."Adonis. Adonis Romano." She says after a few second. Her wordsshocked him that much she could see from his facial expression thatportrayed shock which he didn't try to hide from her. Shocking.

He looked at her with happiness in his eyes, mixed with shock.

"You gave him my last name." His voice a mere whisper.

"Yes. I did. I'm not selfish enough to it give him your last name." Sheanswers back his question.

"Thankyou" even though it was a mere whisper, she had managed tohear his words. It shocked her because he had never heard him saythankyou to anyone before, for the whole six months she stayed at hispack.

She just nods her head at him in acknowledgement.

"We need to go back" he speaks after a few moments, his wordscapture her attention. Her eyes harden as she glares at him the nextmoment.

"No" she says.

"No?" He repeats her words, one of his

dark eyebrows raised in question.

"Yes, a NO, Adryan. I'm not coming with you. The only person that isgoing to be leaving this apartment and go back is you. Not me.” Shelooks at him, square in his eyes.

A mocking humorless laugh leaves his lips, startling her, causinggoosebumps to arise on her skin. He moves closer to her face, to thepoint where both their noses brushed against each other.

"Do you think I would travel so far? Away from my pack only to go backempty handed? Without you by my side?" He asks her, his heated gazestaring at her own ones that stare back at him with anger burningbehind them.

"I'm not going back Adryan" she hisses back at him, repeating herprevious words.

It was shocking how Adonis managed to sleep through out, not evenwaking up with their raised voices and when Adryan had broken downher front door with his fists.

"that's not happening Jade, because I'm not going back without youand my son" Adryan says, stressing the last words to prove a point."We can do this the easy way or the hard way Jade" he continuesspeaking "either you come back with me, to our pack willingly, or I canthrow you over my shoulder and take you back by force. Your choice.”He finishes speaking with a wicked glint in his eyes.

"You wouldn't" her teeth grit together as she stares at him angrily. “Hewouldn't do that would he?" She thinks to herself. But his glinting eyesheld promise, he was enjoying this, she could tell. He knew that he hadcornered her, wanting to get what he wanted, and that was to get herand their son to his pack.

She also didn't fail to notice how he had said our pack instead of his.Which made her want to snort, because his pack wasn't hers at all. TheBlood Moon Pack wasn't her pack. It was Evergreen Forest Pack, whichsadly didn't exist anymore so she was most probably a rogue now. Afree wolf even.

Surprisingly her wolf, Kira had been silent so far. Which confused Jadebecause normally Kira was a chatty one.

Her shoulders slump in defeat as she weighs her options, and the onlything she could come up with was going back with him willingly."Okay" the words leave her lips, just a mere whisper because she hatedit. She hated giving into his wants. Most of all she hated him getting hisway.

A victorious smile appears on his face, infuriating her further.

"Smart choice" he speaks, looking into her eyes "you have ten minutesto back your and his essentials.” He says, leaning back and turning awayfrom her.

"What—, I —" she starts to argue but he cuts her off.

"9 minutes and 40 seconds remaining" he speaks "and don't try toescape because I'll replace you, again” he speaks the last words with hishead tilted so that his eyes would meet hers. A slight warning in them.“Dammit’ She thought, with anger burning inside her.

"I'l be waiting outside” with that words said, he leaves her room.

Jade had to lay a sleeping Adonis onto her bed in order for her tocollect their belongings, Adonis and her clothes were stuffed in a hugeduffel bag within two minutes, and lastly Adonis’ car seat.

The ten minutes Adryan had given her was over within the time she wasdone packing their belongings and walking out with Adonis’ in herhand, just like before. She had dragged and placed the huge duffel bagnear her front door, no not her front door, where front door wassupposed to be.

Now absent since some one couldn't control their caveman tendencies. She rolls her eyes at that.

When she walked outside her apartment, she was stunned to say theleast. She hadn't expected there to be so many people out here. Butnow, as she took in the scene infront of her, she could see roughlyaround twenty werewolves surrounding the front of her apartment, some even walking back and forth from the back of her apartment.

'So he had come prepared’ She thought you herself.

There were three SUV's precent, all of them black in colour, blendinginto the night perfectly. The rest of the wolves might have travelledhere in their wolf forms.

Her anger rises when she sees the figure leaning so casually onto thesides of one of the black SUV's, looking at the wolves that were walkingback and forth.

She starts walking towards him, wanting to give him a piece of hermind.
