Jade stares at Violet for a few moments, “I don't know if you are on myside or his."

Violet lightly punches on Jade's arm, "I'm obviously on your side duhh”Violet says. "Well mostly on your side" Violet side eyes Jade sheepishly"and a little bit on Adryan's too. Well, you know seeing as how he's myAlpha, and I've known him for years. But I'm mostly on your side, Iswear" Jade narrows her eyes at Violet, which makes her laughnervously. "You know my mind is like this pendulum, I'm swaying moretowards your side, but once in a while it sways a bit towards Adryan'sside too." Violet finishes her explanation for taking Adryan’s side.

"Are you mad at me for taking his side?" Violet questions Jade

"No, I'm not." Jade replies, causing violet to sigh in relief and throws herhand in the air. "I'm just a bit mad that you managed to psychoanalysisme without being wrong about a single thing."

"I can be a therapist if I want to, can I?" Violet questions.

"Maybe" Jade answers back.

"Maybe charge like 30 dollars per hour" Violet says dreamily, alreadymaking plans about being a therapist on her mind.

"Maybe not. We don't want people to go broke now, do we?!"

"Ehh, they're lucky that I'm not a therapist.”

"They really are" Jade chuckles, "Wait, why does everyone keepsmentioning about some posters or flyers, you are like the secondperson to mention about in today, and people in the pack were staringat me like they knew me" Jade questions, this was something she hadnoticed and was curious to know.

Violet suddenly freezes on her spot, like a deer caught in headlight,"Well, you know" Violet drags a hand down her face. "First promise methat you won't tell Adryan or ask him about this?" Violet holds herpinky forward for a pinky promise.

"Are you serious?" Jade asks incredulously, Violet clicks her tongue inresponse. Jade finally relents and extends her pinky up and hooks herpinky with Violet's.

"Very" Violet replies. "Now that we have got that out of the way, Whenyou ran away three years ago, let's say that Adryan didn't take it toowell. He kind of went berserk and broke a bunch of stuff around thepack house. Started snapping at anyone and everyone, I mean peoplewere afraid to be even be near him. Later on, after like two months,when he hadn't still found you, he resorted to distributing flyers andposters with your face on it, so that if anyone saw you somewherethey'd know how you looked and who exactly to call. Also, he movedout of the pack house two months after you left." Violet stares at Jade,looking for a reaction.

"What kind of idiot distributes posters and flyers nowadays?" Jade asksshocked with Violet's revelations.

"A fool in love like Adryan obviously" Violet mutters discretely underher breath.

"What did you say?" Jade asks, causing Violet to shake her headimmediately, "Nothing, it was nothing.”

Yet unbeknownst to Violet, Jade heard her words loudly and clearly, andit sends her mind into overdrive by thinking about her words.

'“Adryan that too in love with her? Impossible’ She thought to herself."You never know," a voice retorts back inside her head, shocking Jade. Itwas Kira, her wolf.

“Look who decided to show themselves after ages’ Jade remarkssarcastically.

Kira just humphs at Jade and retreats back into her mind.

They both fall into a peaceful silence after that.

"But on a serious note, can I ask you something I have been dying toask you" Violet suddenly speaks up again.

"Sure" Jade says, wanting to know what Violet was so curious about."How did you" Violet struggles to explain her words," How did youregain your eyesight?"

Jade stares off into nothing in particular, that was something she wouldlike to know herself, "how did she gain her eyesight out of nowhere’."I, 1 don't know" she reveals truthfully, “this might sound absurd, but itall happened after a month of me leaving, I just had this weird dream.More like a nightmare or vision of my past. I dreamed about my mom,and I tried following her, I entered into a room where I saw a roguewolf attacking her, and apparently it was an illusion because I walkedright through them when I tried intervening, I stood there helplesslyand the next thing I know I see this woman. She tells me that she'sthere to help me, and she reveals that she's the moon Goddess. I mean,that's absurd to even say it out loud without seeming like you're a bitcuckoo up there.” Jade points towards her head. She turns towardsViolet to see her taking in Jade's words. Processing them.

"That's a lot to take in, especially if you actually experienced it." Violetsays after a while. "Wait, did you just say one month after you left? Areyou sure, like hundred percent sure?” Violet's eyes widen as if she hadto break through. "Holy shit, I have to tell Adryan about this.”

"What?" Jade asks her, confused by her sudden change in behaviour.Violet's eyes glaze over suddenly, Jade comes to the realization thatsomeone was mind linking her.

"Well" Violet says while standing up straight from her kneeled positionon the floor from earlier, "Brian needs my help with some beta workrelated office papers records, so I better go." Jade nods her head inunderstanding

"It was nice talking to you after a long time Jade" Violet says, she leansforward and hugs, well tries to as seeing how Jade was sitting on thecouch with Adonis on her lap.

"You too, Vi" Jade smiles at Violet, earning one back herself.

Violet starts walking towards the door, she opens the front door andturns back just before leaving, "Jade" Violet calls out, causing Jade tolook up at her.

"I don't want that bitch to take your place, or anyone else for thatmatter. It belongs to you, Jade. I hope you have enough heart to stay.”Violet says, hopefully making Jade's heart tug with her words "Forever."with that Violet leaves Jade to her own thoughts.

“Me too, Vi. Me too," She whispers to no one in particular.
