Chapter 10

On our way to the club, Amelia picked up some of the other girls from her pack. Once we arrive atClub Sensations, we get out and walk to the entrance. I can already see there is a massive linearound the block. "Oh, wow. Will we even be able to get in?" I ask, eyeing all the people waiting."Hell yeah, we are. I know the bouncer,” Amelia's friend says from behind me as we approach thedoor. The bouncer

immediately recognizes Amelia's friend and lets us enter no questions asked. "Enjoy your night,ladies,” the bouncer says with a wink.

We walk into the club and it's completely dark, except for the flashing strobe lights. I can see peopledancing and grabbing drinks at the bar and across from where we stand is a cage with ladiesdancing inside. "This is amazing!” I yell over the music. Amelia looks at me with a smile. "Let's getdrinks, girls!" she announces, making her way to the bar. Her friend next to me yells, "woohoo," allhyped up and I can already tell this is going to be a great night.

As we wait at the bar, the rest of the girls we invited arrive, including Maci. We each had a fewdrinks, and I was feeling tipsy. "LET'S DANCE BITCHES!" I yell, and all the girls run to the dance floor.I'm dancing with Amelia to the music. We are both swaying our hips and dropping it to the floorwhile Amelia shakes her ass. I roll my body and seductively drag my hand from my hair down to myhips. A guy starts dancing behind me, grabbing my hips to sway with my rhythm and I don't like it. Iturn around to tell him to get off, and my heart sinks to the bottom of my stomach.

"What the hell are you doing here, William?" I yell, glaring at him. “I want to dance with you, Chloe,"he shouts back with a look I can't describe. "Did you follow me here?" I demand, pushing past himto get away. Of course, he follows me and I'm beyond angry now. “Stop following me!” I turn andsay, turning down the hall for the lady's room. At this point, I'm walking fast, wanting to desperatelyget away, but he is right at my heels. Before I can reach the restroom, William grabs my arm andshoves me through a door I didn't notice to my left.

Once inside the room, he pushed me so hard I fell to the floor. As I'm collecting my bearings, I feelhim come up behind me, grabbing a fist full of my hair as he pulls me up to stand. "Get up now," hedemands aggressively. "I don't understand. What are you doing?" I cry as my hands reach up in afailed attempt to break his hold on my hair. "Please, let me go," I plead. When he presses his groaninto my ass my eyes grow wide with fear. "Please don't do this, William," I beg with my voicecracking, barely able to get the words out. "I told you not to ignore me, didn't I,” He snaps, pressinghis face into my neck as his hot breath fans my ear. I try to pull away from him as a wave of disgustshudders through my body from his touch.

Amelia POV

During a break in the music I turn to say something to Chloe, but she is gone. I look at the othergirls and don't see her with them either. "Hey, did you see where Chloe went?" I ask frantically. Theyall shake their heads. “Oh no, I have to replace her." I panic, glancing through the dancing bodies, but Idon't see her anywhere. I look towards the entrance and see Paul walking towards me. "Paull!" I yell,getting his attention.

He starts walking faster when he sees the scared look on my face. "Amelia, what's the matter?” Heasks as his eyes look over my body for any injury. "I took my eyes off Chloe for a second and whenturned around she was gone,” I cried into Paul's chest as he hugged me tight. "We will replace her," hereassures me. I soon see Malachi coming our way, but he stops when a girl walks up to him. Shereaches for his arm, but I can't tell what she says to him. He ignores her advances and pushes pasther to get to us. I know it that moment he truly cares for Chloe. Dread fills my stomach at thethought. Malachi stands in front of us and looks around. "Where is Chloe?" He asks. I hesitate tospeak. "I can't replace her,” I admit with tears in my eyes. "What?!" he yells with worry all over his face.Then rushes past us to replace her.

Chloe POV

Suddenly everything made sense. "Oh my god! You're the one who is stalking me," I cry at therealization. "I warned you. Why didn't you listen to me?" he asks, anger filling his tone. "Why me?" Iquestion, knowing I've never spoken to him before that time in the hallway. “I'm in love with you. Iknew I was in love the first time I saw you, and I would make you mine, no matter what," hedeclares, but his declaration only confuses me further. "How could you? We only met last week." Iask, trying to buy myself more time.

He chuckles darkly in my ear. "No, I've known you a lot longer. You see, your niece Kali was mygirlfriend, and when I saw your picture on the fireplace, I fell in love. So, I stayed with Kali to replace outmore about you,” He says, running his nose slowly along my neck. "You're the piece of shit that gotmy niece pregnant,” I hiss in anger, but he pulls my hair tighter. "I'd rather you have my baby,” hewhispers, running his palm over my lower stomach. “Maybe I can make that happen now," he says ina low voice.

"Hell, no, get away from me," I yell, fighting against his hold. “My friends will kill you! Let me gonow." I scream as loud as I can, but I can feel him getting harder against me. He enjoys torturingme. William pushes me to the wall, holding my hands behind my back. "I'm going to make you feelgood." he whispers in my ear. I can feel the vomit rising in my throat at those words. While keepingme against the wall with his chest, William uses his feet to spread my legs and I can hear him unziphis pants.

"Please stop!" I cry out, still trying to break free, until his hand reaches up my dress and down to mypanties with so much force, he rips them off, tearing them in half. "No!" I scream, crying hystericallyat the feeling of his erection pressing between my legs. He's about to shove his member inside mewhen the door bursts open with a ferocious growl and within seconds, Malachi has William by theback of his neck, shoved into the wall. I watch Malachi grab William's head with both hands andtwist, and all I hear is a snapping sound and a thud.

Malachi turned to me, but my eyes remained focused on William's lifeless body. I'm still cryinguncontrollably when Malachi comes to me, lifting my head gently with one finger. "Luna, I'm sosorry I wasn't here. He will never hurt you again,” he swears, but I can't speak. I look at him withtears falling down my cheeks. Malachi pulls me to him and holds me close, and I finally feel safe.

He helps me back to Amelia, who is running toward me. "Oh my god! what happened? Are youokay?" she asks, looking over every inch of me. "No, I want to leave, please,” I ask over the loudmusic. "Okay, let's go. Paul, we need to go home," she yells to him. Malachi walks me to the car,with his arm around

me, and as we drive, I fall asleep on Malachi's shoulder in the car. When we arrive at the packhouse,he picks me up and carries me bridal style into the house, walking past everyone that's still at thepackhouse. They just stare, not daring to say a word as we disappear up the stairs.

Malachi brings me to his room and lays me on his bed. He carefully takes off my stilettos and sitsnext to me. I look to his face, and I can tell from the look he is giving me, he thinks he has failed tokeep me safe. I grab his hand. "Hey, don't do that to yourself, please,” I tell him. "You still saved mebefore he could do anything that would mess up my life," I say with a soft voice. I pull him downnext to me, and he props himself up on his elbow, staring into what felt like my soul. He gently rubsmy lower lip with his finger and brings his mouth slowly to mine. "I love you, Chloe." He whispersinto my mouth.
