Chapter 0083
Serena’s POV
From a monitor backstage, I watch intently as the runway show unfolds. The first to showcase is Josephine’s collection.
The models glide down the runway in elegant, flowing garments made from sustainable fabrics. Her outfits showcase organic textures and colors like forest greens, earthy browns, and soft floral tones, all made from eco–friendly materials.
The jewelry I designed complements this theme with delicate filigree resembling leaf patterns and intertwining vines, crafted from recycled metals and ethically sourced stones. As the models walk, these intricate details of the jewelry align perfectly with the theme, beautifully showcasing nature’s elegance through fashion.
As the camera pans out over the crowd, their reaction is evident. Some audience members lean forward, trying to catch every detail, while others nod in approval, clearly impressed.
Watching the audience’s enthusiastic reactions, I can’t help but smile. Each nod and impressed look from the crowd confirms the hard work and passion I poured into the jewelry.
The next collection on the runway is Max’s, which dives into an avant–garde, steampunk style. The models appear in dramatic outfits that mix Victorian elegance with industrial flair. They wear leather corsets, brass goggles, and lace skirts paired with metallic accents like cogs and gears.
My jewelry for Max’s collection complements this theme with a rugged, mechanical flair. I crafted pieces featuring mixed metals like copper and silver, incorporating small, intricate gears and watch parts into the designs. Choker necklaces with interlocking metal parts and cuff bracelets adorned with mechanical details mirror the collection’s steampunk influence. Earrings dangle with tiny, delicate keys and propellers, moving subtly as the models walk.
I glance over at Max and notice his expression is tight, a frown creasing his brow as he watches his collection move down the runway. His arms are crossed, his posture. stiff. Though he looks displeased, I remind myself that this stern expression might just be his usual way of handling showtime stress… Or, it’s probably just his default look, no matter what he’s actually feeling.
Marjorie’s collection is next on the runway, showcasing an impressive variety

inspired by different fashion eras. Her line beautifully combines elements from the elegant 1920s, the vibrant 1960s, and the sleek 1990s.
Each outfit not only pays homage to its era with key details like the beading and fringe of the 1920s flapper dresses, the bold prints and colors of the 1960s, and the minimalist designs of the 1990s but also updates these styles with a modern twist.
Marjorie’s collection blends old and new styles brilliantly, showing off her expert touch. She mixes details from various fashion eras into one cohesive line.
Marjorie unveils her finale piece, a breathtaking gown with Renaissance influences, updated with modern flair. The dress has a flowing silhouette with a structured bodice, made from luxurious, textured fabrics that echo the richness of the past. It’s painted in soft pastels, similar to the gentle colors often seen in Renaissance art, and the dramatic, floor–sweeping skirt moves beautifully with each step the model takes. The stunning gown is paired with a seashell jewelry set I put together. The necklace wraps gracefully around the collarbone with shiny seashells and glossy pearls linked in a flowing cascade that matches the gown’s curves. It brings a bit of the ocean’s elegance right onto the runway. The earrings complement the necklace with large seashells framed by tiny, sparkling pearls that catch the light beautifully every time the model moves.
As the model in the final look walks down the runway, the audience’s awe is
I unmistakable. Faces light up, and eyes widen in admiration. Even though I can’t hear them from backstage, I see people leaning forward, mouths open in silent gasps.
Hands come together in applause, captivated by the outfit that’s nothing short of goddess–like.
All the models take one last walk down the runway, showcasing the standout pieces from each collection. The energy is electric as the crowd gets one more look at the diverse styles.
Then, the designers–Josephine, Max, and Marjorie–step out together to join the models. The applause intensifies as they walk, their faces lighting up with pride. They wave and acknowledge the cheers from the audience, clearly proud of their work.
At the end of the runway, the three designers hold hands. Behind them, the models line up as the continued applause echoes in the room.
