"Paula!" Sadie recognized her immediately, feeling a surge of mixed emotions. "You've grown up!"

Paula hugged Sadie tightly, crying. "We all thought you were dead. We were heartbroken for so long."

"They said you were still alive, but I didn't believe it. Turns out it's true." Percy Wheeler was also thrilled to see Sadie.
