A hint of crimson tinged with sorrow filled Freya's eyes. She had loved Micah for so many years, and the pain of unrequited love was like a dagger to her heart.

Freya believed that by confessing her feelings to Micah, he might be moved by her sincerity, and she could use that to win him over completely. But she had miscalculated. Micah remained as cold as ever. His gaze, filled with an icy darkness, looked at her as if he wished to cut her to pieces.

"If you can't take my words seriously, don't blame me for being ruthless," Micah snarled, grinding his teeth.

In that moment, he truly felt a surge of anger strong enough to kill. He despised anyone who pursued him without understanding their place. He would show no mercy, even though Freya was a woman, because he had already done more than enough for her. Freya let out a bitter laugh, never expecting Micah to threaten her with death. She wanted to say more, but Micah turned his back on her and walked away, leaving her standing there.

As she watched him go, she clenched her fists tightly, refusing to give up. The more Micah pushed her away, the more determined she became. She believed that if she persevered, Micah would eventually see her sincerity.

Meanwhile, Micah returned to Orion's side after leaving Freya behind. Orion looked at him with wide, questioning eyes. Despite his young age, Orion understood more than people realized. He knew Freya was kind to him and that she liked his uncle. But before Orion could say anything, Pharaoh spoke in a low voice, "Even a child can see what's going on. Don't tell me you're oblivious."

Micah remained silent. He knew exactly what his father meant. But he had no feelings for Freya and did not want to compromise by being with someone he did not love.

"I suppose you're suggesting I should be with her?" Micah asked coolly.

Pharaoh responded, "Who you love and choose to be with is your decision."

The implication was clear. It was Micah's choice, and Pharaoh would not interfere.

Micah smirked. "Then why bring it up? Are you trying to push me towards her, or are you planning to set me up with someone else?"

Pharaoh sighed and replied, "I had considered it, but you weren't interested. I can't force you to do something you don't want. I'm simply pointing out that some opportunities in front of you might be worth considering."

He saw Freya as a good match, genuinely in love with Micah. Otherwise, why would she seek out Pharaoh to ask for his help in convincing Micah?

But Micah's tone remained detached. "I have no plans to get married right now."

He was not going to force himself into something he did not want or settle for anyone.

Pharaoh fell silent for a moment before asking, "Why don't you want to get married?"

His sharp eyes scrutinized Micah, searching for any sign of hidden feelings. But Micah's eyes were deep and unreadable, revealing nothing. Eventually, Pharaoh gave up.

At that moment, Nina and Nash arrived.

When Nina saw that Orion had fallen ill, guilt washed over her. She had already missed out on five years of Orion's life, failing to care for and be there for him.

Now, after leaving for just a short time, Orion had fallen sick.

Nina's eyes stung with tears, feeling that she and Nash were not strong enough yet to protect their son fully.
