For Nina, if she had to choose between a wedding and her child, she would choose the child.

"But right now, Orion..."

"Don't you want to fill in the gaps and make up for our regrets?" Nash interrupted her, his voice firm.

Make up for regrets...

Nina had loved Nash for so long. She wanted to close that chapter even more than he did. But they were no longer young.

Star was already grown up. Wouldn't people think they were just putting on a show if they had a wedding now?

"Let's go and remarry today," Nash said, stepping closer to Nina. He took her hand with one of his and handed her the bouquet of roses with the other. The food he had brought along, he handed to Orion.

Orion, understanding his parents' need for privacy and that they needed to reconnect, quietly took the food and left the room, leaving Nash and Nina alone.

"We can go and remarry today, but as for the wedding..." Nina hesitated.

"What are you worried about? If people in their seventies and eighties can renew their vows, why can't we, when we're not even forty?" Nash cut her off, a determined look in his eyes.

He had made promises to Pharaoh and stated his intentions clearly to Dominic. After five years of separation, he and Nina were finally together again. To not make it right for Nina would be the regret of a lifetime. "I'm afraid..." Nina started.

"What is there to be afraid of? We're going to have our wedding, and we won't spend anyone else's money. We'll live our own lives, and we don't need anyone's judgment. Nina, you don't have to be afraid," Nash assured her, holding her hand tightly, his voice steady and confident.

He already had plans for the wedding. He wanted everyone to know that he and Nina were going to have their wedding and that he would hold her hand and live out the rest of their lives together in happiness. Not just them, but their whole family including Orion. As Nash and Nina reached the door, they ran into Zoe.

Seeing them hand in hand, Zoe smiled. "Where are you two headed?"

"I'm taking Nina to the county clerk's office to get remarried," Nash replied without hesitation.

Originally, as soon as they returned to Birkham, Nash planned to take Nina to get remarried right away, but there were too many things to handle. He had been presumed dead and now had to reestablish his life under his old identity. Nina also needed time to visit her adoptive parents.

When Zoe heard this, she gave Nash a playful scolding, "Sometimes, I really don't know what to say about your decisions! You actually thought about divorcing Nina?"

Nash glanced at Nina, a smile slowly spreading across his face. "That's because I wanted to make sure everything was perfectly prepared for her. We've already made plans. Orion is staying home, and we'll be back in about an hour."

It was a simple trip to the county clerk's office to apply for their marriage license and then return home.

"Alright, alright. Go take care of your business. I'll wait here for you," Zoe said, understanding there was no reason to delay them.

Nash and Nina exchanged a smile and left together.

As Zoe watched them leave, she spotted Orion. He was a perfect blend of Nash and Nina, with delicate features, fair skin, and a slight build.

"Hello, little one," Zoe greeted Orion, who was busy enjoying the food Nash had brought him.
