The commotion caught everyone's attention.

Some sharp-eyed parents recognized the uniforms of the chefs. They were from the most famous hotel in Birkham.

Gasps spread through the crowd as people marveled at how much the school must have spent.

The principal forced a smile. He knew there was no way the school could afford such top-notch chefs and wondered which parent had provided this surprise.

"Ma'am, as per your instructions, the Royal Feast is ready. Could you please direct us to the dining area?" The hotel manager approached Nina with such respect that jaws dropped all around. Madison's face turned red, then pale. She felt utterly uncomfortable.

"That hotel's food is ridiculously expensive," someone whispered. "That mom doesn't look like she's made of money. Do you think she's just putting on a show?"

"Yeah, I saw her arguing with the PTA president earlier. Maybe she's doing this out of spite."

Madison overheard the murmurs and smirked as she walked toward Nina. Before she even reached her, she sarcastically asked, "Is that really the hotel manager? Or did you just get a poor relative to play the part?"

As she approached, a chef walked by with a dish. Madison grabbed his arm. "Let me see if this is really part of the Royal Feast. If it's just any dish, I'm not buying it."

She lifted the lid to reveal a beautifully prepared steamed lamb dish. The aroma filled the air, and the crowd couldn't help but let out impressed murmurs.

Nina smiled lightly. "Madison, does this look like a dish from the Royal Feast?"

Madison had no idea if it was or not, but seeing everyone's satisfied expressions, she clenched her jaw. "It smells good, but who knows how it tastes."

"You'll replace out when you eat it," Nina replied calmly. "But standing there blocking the food, it looks like you're trying to keep everyone from eating. That's not very polite, is it?"

Nina had been waiting for this moment. She knew that to bring Madison down a notch, she had to wait until Madison was riding high, and then pull her down hard.

Madison quickly stepped aside as dish after dish was laid out on the table. She began to worry that Nina really had splurged on a Royal Feast. Even if it wasn't, the hotel's reputation alone would win over the crowd.

Suddenly, an idea struck her. She sneered and said, "Orion's mom, this event was supposed to be about moms cooking for themselves. Isn't this cheating? You're setting a bad example for the kids, you know."

"Oh, really? I thought the point of this event was to make everyone happy. If my cooking can't do that, then why not replace another way to bring joy?" Nina cut her off, then turned to the other parents. "Ladies, let's sit down. Honestly, I've never had a Royal Feast before. Thanks to Madison, we all get to enjoy it today. So, let's give her a round of thanks, shall we?"

The parents were silent for a moment, looking back and forth between the two women. They knew this was a power play between Nina and Madison and didn't want to get involved. But they also couldn't ignore the food that had been served.

One parent finally broke the silence, linking arms with Nina and guiding her to the table. "I think the real thanks should go to you, Orion's mom. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have the chance to enjoy such a great meal. I mean, just the smell alone is incredible." With someone taking the lead, others quickly followed. Soon, all the parents were siding with Nina, leaving Madison fuming with anger.
