Nina looked down and saw blood on her pants. Her face immediately paled, her stomach had been bothering her since yesterday, but she was too caught up in work to pay it much mind.

Lacking experience, she ignored the discomfort, and now her stomach was hurting even worse. Instinctively, she clutched her abdomen, bending over in pain. Her face was pale and she was covered in cold sweat.

Seeing her bleeding, Nash's expression changed drastically. He hurried over and grabbed her, saying, "Nina!"

Nina was in so much pain that she almost fainted. This delayed reaction intensified the pain. She grabbed Nash's arm and said weakly, "The baby..."

Without hesitation, Nash lifted her into his arms. "It'll be okay, I'll take you to the hospital!"

"Quincy, drive quickly!"

Quincy was terrified, encountering such a situation for the first time. He quickly opened the car door for them. Nash placed Nina in the car, got in himself, and laid her head on his lap.

Seeing her deathly pale face, he was extremely worried. "Don't be afraid, everything will be fine. I won't let anything happen to you!"

Seeing Nina losing so much blood, he had never seen her bleed so much before. He knew how painful it must be for her.

Quincy stepped on the gas, and the car sped down the road. Nina was covered in cold sweat, her lips devoid of color.

With a determined gaze, she firmly held Nash's hand, the pain mingling with her worries. Her nails were digging into his flesh as she gritted her teeth and said, "Nash, you must protect the baby. Don't hurt him!" Her only request to Nash was to protect the baby. She feared he would not protect the child.

Nash looked into Nina's eyes, seeing in them not only a blend of longing, pleading but also resentment. It was a bitterness driven by a deep sense of injustice, above all else.

But Nash remained silent. To him, the miscarriage was a relief. He did not want her to keep the child. He was more concerned about her well-being, fearing she might get hurt.

Seeing him silent, Nina clenched his arm even harder. "Can you hear me? You must save my child!"

After a moment of hesitation, Nash said in a low voice, "I'll save you."

Looking into his eyes, Nina knew he was capable of being heartless. She gripped his collar tightly, her pulse pounding, sweat beading on her forehead, and insisted, "You must save the child, Nash. I've been by your side for seven years and I've never asked for anything. I just want you to save this child... because he..."

The pain was unbearable for Nina. Her reaction was delayed, and by the time she realized it, she could not hold on any longer and passed out.

"Because he...?" Nash did not catch it clearly.

"Nina, Nina!" Seeing Nina unconscious, Nash's heart clenched. He gently shook her, calling out her name by her ear but she did not respond.

"Faster, hurry!" he urged, his tone nearly a shout.

Though Nash could not fully comprehend Nina's pain, he could sense it. He gripped her hand tightly, his voice bordering on a roar. He wished they could reach the hospital immediately.

Luckily, Quincy was a skilled driver. Despite running several red lights, they finally arrived at the hospital.

Nash quickly carried Nina out of the car, shouting, "Doctor, doctor!"

Immediately, a nurse pushed a bed out.

Nash hurriedly placed Nina on the bed, looking at her pale face, feeling a sharp pain in his chest.

He told the nurse, "Save her, you must save her!"

"Got it, sir. Please don't worry, we'll do our best!" The nurse reassured him.
