Ivy quickly waved her hands, "I can't do it, brother. I don't know anything."

Handing over the position to her sounded good, but Pharaoh wouldn't step down without a reason. Whether he was testing Micah or her, she couldn't let this affect her now.

Micah smiled, "You can learn. Haven't you been studying all along?"

Pharaoh's eyes flashed with a sharp intensity. "I didn't call you here to hear you pass responsibilities back and forth. You are siblings and you should support each other. Ivy, if you can't remember the past, so be it. The future is what matters. At the banquet, I'll select worthy partners for both of you from our tribe."

This was non-negotiable.

Throughout the meal, Ivy suppressed her anger. When it was finally over, she rushed back to her quarters. She was about to ask Wes to notify Seth when Seth arrived first.

Seth's eyes were stern. "You need to be more cautious around Micah."

"Mr. Seth, what do you mean?" Ivy couldn't understand.

Although Pharaoh wanted to announce her identity to everyone, her identity was already known throughout the camp. She was Pharaoh's daughter, the rightful one. It made sense that Micah didn't like her, but why should she be cautious around him? Seth's expression was cold. "Micah is conducting a DNA test between him and Nina."

He had originally planned to leave the lab, but he stayed because Mr. Joker was delivering the blood samples and waiting for the results. Mr. Joker worked exclusively for Micah.

Ivy was stunned, utterly shocked.

But she quickly realized that since Seth knew about it, he wouldn't let it happen. She relaxed but a cold glint flashed in her eyes. "I won't let Nina leave here alive."

"Bringing Nina here was a mistake," Seth said, his brows furrowing in anger.

Ivy didn't respond. Even if she had reasons for bringing Nina back, there was no need to explain them now.

Seth's expression remained stern. "People who are too clever for their own good are simply foolish."

"Understood," Ivy replied, aligning with Seth's words. Seth didn't stay long.

However, she needed to go see Micah.

She asked Wes to prepare things, but Wes told her, "Miss, the woman you had thrown into the slave camp has been taken by Nina. And... there's another man with her. He brought someone out from the male slave camp too. "They're all with Mr. Micah now."

It seemed she had no choice but to go to Micah.

At Micah's quarters, Nina woke up first.

The first thing she did was check on Nash, who was lying on a small bed, eyes closed, looking pale.

"Nash..." Nina instinctively started shaking him.

Mr. Joker stopped her. "He just went through a severe poisoning episode and is very weak. Don't shake him. Let him rest."

Since Mr. Joker was still here, she was still with Micah.

She turned and saw Micah sitting nearby, his lips pressed into a thin line, looking serious but also somewhat weak.

Micah had taken a bullet for her to save her from Pharaoh. Since then, she hadn't had a chance to speak with him.
