Nina bit her lips and walked towards Micah. "You're Pharaoh's son and you have influence. Regarding Nash's poison, can you..."

"I don't have that kind of influence, and I can't get the antidote," Micah interrupted her before she could finish. His expression was cold, leading Nina to believe that Micah wanted her to go to Pharaoh herself. Pharaoh was a ruthless man, and if she got involved with him, wouldn't that put her and Nash on opposing sides?

Nina took a deep breath. "Nash and I have never done anything wrong. Why do some people have to make things so difficult?"

She thought to herself, "The past is the past. Everyone needs to move forward."

Micah studied Nina, her urgency and sincerity clear in her expression. Before the DNA test results, Nina had been so resistant. But now?

He pondered, "People are strange, indeed."

Micah smirked. "I'm not the one who poisoned him. Talking to me won't help."

"Miss Ivy is here," a guard announced from outside.

Hearing Ivy's name, Nina instinctively looked at Micah, whose expression remained impassive.

Nina turned to go back to Nash, but Micah grabbed her wrist and said quietly, "Come with me to meet her. It's best to clear up any misunderstandings between you and her."

Before Nina could respond, Micah was already leading her outside. Meanwhile, Ivy walked in, carrying something.

"Brother, Wes went out and bought this for me. It's a cake from Birkham. I haven't tried it yet, so I brought it for you to taste."

Micah, uninterested, replied, "It's best if you clear up your misunderstanding with her."

"There's nothing to say," Nina said coldly.

Ivy had tried to kill her multiple times, and...

Ivy said, "I'm a straightforward person. If we have issues, let's clear them up. It's better to have one more friend than one more enemy."

Her eyes carried a hint of provocation as she looked at Nina.

Nina smiled. "Miss Ivy, you're joking. We're in different positions. I've never wanted to be your enemy. You're the one who's been targeting me relentlessly, and I don't even know why." Though unsure of Micah's intentions in making her confront Ivy, Nina was not about to back down.

Ivy's expression stiffened slightly. She had not expected Nina to speak so boldly.

If not for Micah's presence, she would have slapped Nina hard by now.

She held back. "Those were misunderstandings. Let's clear things up now. Brother, invite her to the upcoming banquet.

"Shall we reintroduce ourselves? I'm Ivy..."

"Sorry, I don't need to get to know you again," Nina interrupted coldly.

"Ugh, ugh!" Suddenly, a harsh cough echoed from inside.

Ignoring Ivy, Nina turned and walked away, leaving Ivy feeling even more frustrated.

Ivy looked at Micah, pleading, "Brother, she's very straightforward. Could you help mediate between us?"
