Nina chuckled lightly. "Of course I know. You have your agenda, and I can't stop you. But don't let your sister interfere with me again." "Alright."

Micah could have ignored her, but he still responded.

Nina had found Scarlett and Scott, so she technically didn't need to go back to the slave camp. But now she said, "I'm not restricted, right? I need to go to the slave camp to replace someone." Micah looked at her. "Don't you still have the black card?"

The black card given to Nina had never been taken back. She was free to move about as she pleased.

Nina pursed her lips and said softly, "Then let Mr. Joker come with me."

Who knew if that crazy Ivy might attack again? While she still wanted to live, she had to keep herself safe.

"Alright." Micah was truly accommodating to her every request.

Nina went to the slave camp and found the girl she had seen before.

"Can I take her to my old room?" Nina asked Mr. Joker.

From Mr. Joker's perspective, Nina was just bringing along a fifteen-year-old girl who had been trapped in the camp for a long time and posed no threat.

Besides, Micah had specifically instructed him to grant Nina's requests as long as they weren't excessive.

Mr. Joker waved his hand.

Nina took the girl to her old small room.

She saw that the girl had many new wounds.

Thankfully, the room hadn't been disturbed, and there were still medicines there. Nina sat the girl on the bed and carefully treated her wounds.

The girl looked at Nina as her savior. "You've been here for so long without a scratch. Even Mr. Joker is protecting you. He's so high up. Can't you think of a way to get me out of here? I don't want to stay here any longer." To the girl, she had once thought of dying but still yearned to live. If she had to die, at least let it be outside, not trapped here forever.

Nina finished applying the medicine and helped her pull up her clothes. "I came to replace you with that very idea. Are male and female slaves always kept separate?"

Nina thought, even if they were separated, there were still times they came together.

They had to save themselves.

With the internal conflict starting, those in power wouldn't notice them right away. They could take advantage of the chaos to escape. Even if they couldn't get away, they could at least deliver a significant blow to the Pharaoh. "We're not always separate. We gather during training. Why do you ask? Are you planning to lead us slaves in a revolt?" The girl answered Nina, then realized the implication.

Nina nodded. "There's strength in numbers. The two of us alone can't escape."

"The Pharaoh is powerful, and we have no weapons. Rising up is suicide. I'm not that brave or selfless. I just want my freedom, to live my life."

The girl had thought Nina was there to rescue her, but Nina only wanted to use her.

She wasn't stupid.

"If you leave, there won't be another chance like this."
