The person blocking their way was none other than Micah, the very man everyone believed was too poisoned to wake up anytime soon. Wilfred instinctively shielded Nina behind him. "I'm taking her out of here."

Micah didn't respond immediately. With a gesture, Mr. Joker and others surrounded them.

They were taken to another secure location. But just as they arrived, a dire report came in. "Mr. Micah, it's bad! Seth has rebelled!"

Micah's lips curled into a cold smile. Seth's rebellion was inevitable, but Wilfred and Nina's escape from the lab had accelerated the process.

"Whatever happens in the Yaren tribe is none of our concern. You don't want Ivy trapped in this hellhole, do you?" Wilfred gripped Nina's hand tightly, his brows furrowed with worry. His expression was grave, shadowed with a sense of urgency. Micah didn't reply directly. Instead, he instructed Mr. Joker and the others, "Everyone, defend-"

"Mr. Micah, the tribesmen have been swayed by Seth. We don't have many people left we can trust," a subordinate reported, head bowed.

Micah's expression darkened slightly. A fierce aura emanated from him, enveloping him like a demon emerging from the depths of hell."

Micah ordered, "Take Nina and get her to Nash!"

"Yes, sir."

Mr. Joker, Micah's trusted confidant, understood his intentions. Micah wanted to stay and fight. As a member of the Yaren tribe and the Pharaoh's son, he had responsibilities to bear amid the internal chaos.

The moment Wilfred called Nina "Ivy," Micah had pieced everything together. As a child, Ivy had been in the slave camp and the lab, linked to Wilfred, the Pharaoh's most exceptional creation. Now, the DNA test results seemed irrelevant.

This might be their last meeting. Micah reached out, wanting to touch Nina's face, but he pulled back, unsure.

Nina's breathing grew heavy, and she instinctively stepped back.

She had never imagined she could be the Pharaoh's daughter. She used to envy her classmates with siblings and longed for a brother herself. Now that she had one, she couldn't replace happiness in it. "You won't escape!"

Seth's voice approached rapidly. Soon, he and his men had them surrounded.

Seeing Seth's expression, cold as ice, Nina and Wilfred's expressions turned grim. Seth had tortured them relentlessly during this time.

Micah stood in front of them. "Seth, do you really think you can be the king of the Yaren tribe?"

In this moment, for the sake of the Yaren tribe and his sister behind him, Micah would not back down.

Seth laughed loudly. "Micah, can't you see these people behind me? They all pledge allegiance to me. The Pharaoh's reign is over. Besides, I have the Pharaoh. If you don't want him dead, you'd better surrender."

As soon as he finished speaking, a loud explosion occurred overhead, sending a wave of heat that knocked everyone off their feet.

Both Wilfred and Micah moved to shield Nina, but Micah was faster. He covered Nina with his body, and when he felt no further harm, he quickly got up.

However, his head was spinning, and he felt as if he were walking on clouds.
