Claimed By My Three Alphas -
Chapter 78
"Are you in Amery?" Quincy asked Amery who stood rooted on the spot. Levi barely paid her any ounce of attention as he nursed his bleeding lip that had been assaulted by Asher. Again, she was stunned to see that his wounds from earlier still hasn't healed up yet. What exactly happened? From where she stood, she could see the fierce look on Asher's face wheeling her to not agree to whatever Quincy had just said.
Amery knew deep down that she couldn't trust any of them. Playing a game such as truth or dare with these boys could only mean ruining her life to a point of no return. They would not only take advantage of the situation but would also make sure to overexercise any privilege given to them. She knew them like the back of her palm. The wheels in their head were always turning that it's sometimes hard to figure out what they were actually thinking.
"No." She answered firmly. "I'm not in. We have a project due for next week remember? The sooner we get on with it, the better."
"You just said it yourself. It's due for next week so why the rush?" He grimaced. "It's just a fun game of truth and dare. It's not like we're giving anyone the avenue to kill someone."
Amery knew that Quincy had no bad intentions concerning ehayhe had just said but she couldn't help but feel insulted. Him using the word 'kill' like it's no big deal was actually a big deal for her considering the fact that Levi had allegedly killed her once. "I'm not interested Quincy and that's it." She said with an air of finality.
"Just let her be Quincy." Levi's voice sprang through. "She's obviously a pet that takes orders from her master. Asher had already compelled her to refuse and that's exactly what she's going to do. She has always been a puppet whose strings are tied around the fingers of her master."
Levi's words stabbed through her chest like lava clearing through the path of a mountain. She knew that he only said those words to taunt her and she knew better than anyone not to agree or listen to them but somehow, it made quite an impact on her leaving her offended.
"I'm not a pet Levi and neither am I a puppet." She warned through gritted teeth. Her eyes blaring saucers at him.
"Right and I'm not the first son of my father. We are both pretty great at lying aren't we?" He mocked. "Just admit it, he has a strong leash tied around your neck and when he tugs it forward, you have no choice but to give in to his demands. You think I'm lying? If I am then why are you here even when you refused to come when Levi had asked you to? Isn't it because your master summoned you here and you followed willingly?"
"LEVI!" Asher yelled at him from across the chair where he sat. "Don't listen to him Amery. You don't have to play if you don't want to. It's a dumb game anyways."
"There he goes again..." Levi drawled. "The master and his little pet." He threw her a knowing look while Amery fumed in anger. She had not expected Levi to talk so rudely of her. Wasn't he the same person who had just apologized? He must have a way with saying sorry to people and then going back to repeat the same s**t doesn't he? Amery thought to herself as she glared at him, Hard.
I walked up to his front and he paused to look at me. "I never asked for an audience so move."
"I'm not a pet Levi and yes, I'd play the dumb game if it makes you sleep better at night." Amery said and located a free spot on the couch next to Asher.
"Foolish child." Levi mumbled under his breath. Asher breathed out tiredly. He just couldn't understand why she was so stubborn. He had clearly asked her to stay away and now she had somehow managed to put herself out there in a bind.
"So the rules of the game is simple." Quincy began when everyone was perfectly seated and rested on the couch. "One, you get to say the truth and nothing but the truth. Two..." He trailed off, as he stared at their faces one after the other to make sure that they get the message he was trying to pass across. "You get to do your dare. Under no circumstances should you back out or forfeit without going through it completely otherwise, you'd grant the wish of the person you turned down."
"And lastly..." He continued with a smirk on his face. "Don't be shy to go all out. It's an avenue to know each other's deepest and darkest secrets. I'll go first." Quincy picks up a bottle and spins. It lands on Asher.
"So bro..." He lips split up into a wide grin. "Truth or Dare?"
Asher blinked furiously. He didn't want to be here and he obviously doesn't have any intention of playing this damn game. He would give anything to leave but then what about Amery? She had already agreed to stay and if he should leave, there's no telling what they might do to her or worse.
"Truth." He answered feeling uninterested.
"What is it about Levi that you want so much but can never get it no matter how hard you try to?"
Asher looked at his brother who had a cynical smile on his face. He contemplated between answering and forfeiting the question. If he should forfeit, then he'd have to grant Levi a wish and for the life in him, he wasn't ready to place himself in such dilemma. "Go ahead and Answer brother." Levi pressed. "Even I would like to know. What is it about me that you envy so much."
Amery swallowed. The game hasn't even started and it was already so intense. She could feel the tension around them as it blanketed the atmosphere choking the air and making it suffocating for her to breathe.
"I don't envy anything about you." Asher smirked. "There's nothing to envy about a human boy anyway but I would say I like how bold and outspoken you are even though you do it for the wrong reasons." "Amery..." Quincy called out to her. "It's your turn to spin the bottle."
Amery tucked a strand of hair behind her ears and took the bottle from Quincy. She have them one last look before spinning the bottle and it ended on Levi. What are the odds that the bottle ended up on Levi and not someone else? It's like the universe was trying so hard to pin them together.
"Ask away." He cajoled her and she straightened herself.
"Truth or Dare Levi?"
He smirked. "Truth. So what exactly does little miss Amery want to know about me?"
"What happened to your wolf after you tried to kill me that day in the woods." She threw the bomb leaving Levi speechless and at a loss for words. He had never expected her to ask him such a question about that day. His smile slowly faded away to be replaced by a deep frown. "You have to answer. The rules clearly stated that you cannot forfeit otherwise you'd have to grant me one wish so I'd like to know because for some reason, you decided to blame me for it."
He scoffed with a chuckle. A deep empty one that didn't reach his eyes. "After I killed you that day, my wolf went silent inside me. It's not dead but neither is it alive and it only comes to the surface when you're next to me. Does it answer your question?" Amery looked on, perplexed. Was that the reason why he took so long to heal and also, was that the reason why he told her that she caused his animal leaving him? Meaning he also lost something that day as well.
"My turn." Levi took the bottle from Amery's grasp and spinned it on the ground. It landed on her as well.
"I think that the universe is pulling us together, don't you think?" He chuckled with a coy smile on his face. "So Amery, truth or dare?"
"Truth." She replied sharply but he only laughed.
"I haven't been a human long enough to understand this but I clearly follow that the game works on two truths and one dare. We've exhausted the truth so you'd have to pick dare."
Amery blinked rapidly. How on earth did it backfire so quickly.
"D-Dare." She stuttered. Her hands tugging the hem of her dress nervously. This action only seemed to ignite the monster in Levi. He glanced at Asher who looked worked up already. This was finally his time to take revenge on what the bastard had done to him earlier and he'd make him watch as well.
"I dare you Amery." A quick pause and then "I dare you to give Quincy a lap dance without your skirt on and make sure he enjoys it for five whole minutes. You may begin."
Amery's jaw dropped to the ground as she looked from Asher to Quincy, hoping that one of them would at least try to stop the game but she knew that it was pointless. There's no saving her now. She'd fallen in too deep and tied herself up in a bind. It was either this or a wish. What would she have to do now?
