Since they couldn't go out for dinner, Bella and Lia ended up ordering takeout. Both stood by the door with their coffee in hand. At that moment, their stomachs growled in anticipation. Diane gently linked arms with Lia as they walked inside. "Don't worry about it. Even if it's pouring rain, I still have to come."

Lia had actually met Diane once before when she stormed into Leonard's office building to confront him. Back then, Lia was so focused on Leonard that she hadn't noticed anyone else

Forcing a smile, Bella greeted Diane nervously, "Hello, Mrs. Sawyer."

Diane found a seat and sat down. She said in a friendly manner, "As long as there's no harm done. Your studio is lovely, by the way.

Lia was stunned by the offer and unsure of what to say. Only Bella picked up on the hidden implications in Diane's words.
