Fae Or Not I'm Coming For You: It's Only The Beginning
Chapter 18

“I am sorry little one. I lost control and hurt you. It was never my intention. I know you meant nothing by the comment you made. I got angry not from what you said per-say but what I was already feeling about the situation. Our other mate and Hydrus have both pointed out my faults and rubbed my face all through it. Please do not leave me, I will not survive with out you I know once the babes are born I will have to leave for the Fae Realm. I do not want to but I have been away for far to long and it has taken its toll on me.” Fenrir states sadly.

I put my hand on his cheek and say, “I love you so much already Fenrir. But I can not have you doing this to us. I will not leave but I will not be alone with you either til you have returned from the Fae Realm. I know you would never intentionally hurt me but your lack of care for yourself is harming us. I need you to take care of yourself. I will be here when your back. We could even visit you in the Fae Realm by the Grey Loch. We could swim together. There are still ways and I have been told it will not be longer than a month at the most for you to get up to par again.”

Fenrir closes his eyes as tears run down his face, “I am so so so so sorry.” He says, then starts crying hard.

I make room for him on the bed to lay with us and I hold him til he falls asleep. I look over and see our other mate standing there watching this all unfold. He gives me a sad smile then disappears. I already feel an attachment to him and when he disappeared I felt like he took a piece of me with him. I let a few tears fall before I fall back to sleep.

I wake up late the next morning. I get up and use the bathroom. My belly feels like it weighs a ton. I waddle in to the bathroom to see the guys together in the shower. I use the bathroom as quickly as possible so I do not disturb them. Once I am done I waddle out to the dinning area and replace food out. Pheonix peeks out and tells me the food is good. Anexus peeks out as well and says that the food and drinks are good. I sigh in relief and dig in. I feel bad once I am done eating because I have eaten and drank everything on the table. The guys finally come out of the bathroom and join me in the dinning area. They stop in their tracks when they see all the empty plates and containers. I am lounging back in my chair rubbing my huge belly. I can not wait for these two to come out. I feel like a whale right now.

“Good morning, what is on the agenda for today?” I ask the guys.

“We had planned on taking you for a tour of the castle and the castle grounds this morning. Then this afternoon after lunch and you nap we will go to the dungeons to talk with the people that were captured a couple days ago.” Fenrir explains.

“Huh. A couple days ago?” I question.

“Yes sweetheart. You have been sleeping for a couple days. Your body was so worn out. I had my mom come and sit with you to make sure you were ok.” Hydrus explains.

“Are the babes ok?” I ask.

“Yes they are very healthy and strong. Our forms have checked numerous times while you were sleeping.” Fenrir says.

“I am sorry about the food. I was so hungry and could not help myself. I can cook for you if you would like.” I say sorrowfully.

“Do not worry my love. The food was for you. We have already eaten and you needed the food. My mom cooked it for you so there was no poisons in it.” Hydrus says.

I go to stand up and I am struggling to do so. Both the guys see this and immediately come to my aid. I am finally standing when a knock is heard. We all just stand there looking at each other trying to figure out who it could be. The knock comes again but louder this time. I move to go to the door but Fenrir beats me there. He throws the door open and looks down the hall but sees no one. He closes the door and turns back to us and shrugs his shoulders. The guys start to walk towards the closet but a knock comes again. This time I open the door and as I am looking I see a shimmering in the corner by our door. I reach out and grab the person. I yank them into our apartments and force them on their knees.

The guys are both standing there looking at me like I am crazy. I am confused because I can see the person clear as day and I do not recognize them.

“Who are you and what do you want?” I demand.

“You will replace out soon enough Christiana. You may have forgotten who I am but I have not forgotten you.” The person hisses at me.

“I do not like riddles. Who the hell are you?” I demand again.

They just cackle at me and disappear. I turn and flop into a chair really confused. I sit there trying to figure out what just happened but the guys are just standing there looking at me really weirdly.

“WHAT!” I demand.

“Are you all right? You were just talking to the air.” Hydrus asks.

“You did not see the person just now?” I ask for confirmation.

“What are you talking about Chris. There was no person. You were literally yelling at the air. We do not even know what language you were even yelling in.” Fenrir says.

“That is what I thought. When I opened the door because some one knocked again it appeared no one was there again. But I caught a shimmering in the air and as I looked closer I saw some one standing there. I yanked them in here so they could not escape. They refused to show themselves openly and refused to tell me who they were. I am obviously not up to full power because I could not force them to reveal themselves. Their power is nothing compared to mine but I feel as if I know them some how. They did say that I have forgotten who they are and that I will replace out soon enough who they are.” I explained.

Fenrir and Hydrus looked shell shocked at what I said. They both flopped into a chair as well. Hydrus looked like he was really confused but Fenrir looked contemplative. Suddenly Hydrus jumps up and stands extremely still he keeps cocking his head like he is trying to hear something. But then he flops back down looking even more confused.

“What did they look like little one?” Fenrir finally asks.

“I do not know. They were blurred. But I could make out that they looked similar to me but different. I do not know how to explain it, I am sorry.” I say.

“No need to strain your self Chris. We will get to the bottom of this. As far as your powers you will not be at full power til you have all of your mates. But right now the babes are also siphoning your powers as well. So do not push your self please.” Fenrir explains.

“Come we are going to my moms instead of going to the dungeons or doing a tour.” Hydrus says while standing up.

“No, I want to go to the dungeons. Then we can go to your moms. I need to know how far this goes.” I respond.

“Hydrus you can take her. I am going to do some research. I have a bad feeling about this intruder. If my suspicions are correct we need to be prepared. (I can not lose her again. I can not live with out her again because of this jealous power hungry women.)”Fenrir says out loud and through mind link to Hydrus.

Fenrir comes over to me and helps me stand and brings me to the closet and sits me down on the bench seat while he picks out comfortable clothes for me. He and Hydrus proceed to undress and then dress me. Once I am clothed they proceed to dress themselves as well. When the guys are done dressing Fenrir helps me stand again.

We all walk to the door and proceed down the hallway. We come to a split and Fenrir stops us and gives me a hug and kiss, then kisses Hydrus before he goes off on his way to do research. Hydrus grabs my hand and he brings me down hallway after hallway til we come to a dead end. Hydrus pushes something on the wall and an entrance opens to a dark stairwell. Once we step through the thresh hold lights come on. We descend the stairs and turn down halls and walk down more stairs. Half way through I start getting paranoid and start to shake. Hydrus decides to transform to his Lycan form and picks me up. He carries me the rest of the way while I continue to shake. Once we come to the end he sets me down then transforms back, pulling clothes from thin air he puts them on then grabs my hand again. He opens the door in front of us and speaks to a guard before we are ushered to a specific area in the dungeons.

We are brought to a room and we sit down in the chairs on one side of a table. The room reminds me of those interview rooms that are in police stations. Not that we had crime in the town of Paisley but we still had a police station to keep up appearances. We sat there for a few minutes and just ask I was about to ask Hydrus why we were in this room the door opened. A guard walked in with a folder and a women in cuffs. He handed the folder over to Hydrus and sat the women down on the chair on the opposite side of us. The guard attached the women’s cuffs to a chain on the floor then bowed to us and left the room.

Once the door closes that women just sits there staring at us. I sit there trying to figure her out. I feel like I know her from somewhere but I am having are hard time placing where.

“My poor Christiana, you look so confused.” The women mocks me.

I tilt my head still contemplating going over my memories trying to place her. Then it dawns on me and she can tell. I know just by the sinister smile she has on her face. I still just sit there staring at her not letting her get to me. I go over the memory I have of her and I realize I should have know what was going on before now.

I was on my way home from the doctors. My parents have been sending me there for days now trying to figure out why all my memories are gone. As I approach the house I hear yelling. I sneak around to the side of the house so as not to be seen and be able to listen to what is being said.

“I can not believe you gave the Alpha a potion that would wipe all her memories. You know that is not what he wanted. How is he suppose to get what he wants and his mate back if she can not even remember him.” I heard my mom yelling.

“You truly believe your Alpha is her mate. Ha, you are both delusional. He will not get what he wants and will never get what he wants. Her powers will be taken by another and none of you can change that. As for her memories, they had to be removed. If she knew who she truly was she would be able to escape and my true leader would kill me for it.” A women’s voice said.

“What the hell do you mean?” My father questioned.

“Your Alpha only wants her for her powers and to use them. You saw what he has done to the others. Do you truly believe he would keep some one so powerful alive and not steal her powers?” The women questions.

“No I guess not. But I can not believe he would agree with erasing her memories. It just does not make sense.” My mother says.

“No he did not agree. But it is not his choice. If only you all truly knew who she was you would never have seeked her out and taken her. I know who her mate is and when he replaces out the wrath that he will unleash will be like nothing you could ever imagine. But let us hope my leader gets to her before he does. You will be thanking me then.” The women says.

Suddenly I hear footsteps going to the front door. I go back to the front of the house and act like I just got there. I walk up the front steps and open the door, just as the women I heard talking was reaching for the door knob.

“Oh hello darling. You must be Christiana. My name is Shauna.” Shauna says.

“Hello.” I say politely.

“It was nice meeting you, but I must be going. I have a meeting with the Alpha. I will see you soon Christiana.” Shauna says before running off down the steps and to her car.
