From Here to Ecstasy
Chapter 80 - Freaking Visitors

Recap

“Please,” my mom said as she swallowed hard and wiped her eyes.

I nodded my head and sent them into the other vision, the one I knew showed the battle in our favor. I knew if Sonny hadn’t ordered them my mom would have gone off half-cocked. She was quick to temper but ever quicker to serenity. It was as if it took three seconds to change her whole aura. I was praying to the Moon Goddess to keep my temper in check. I would need to be calm for my brother and my parents.

“What the hell is that?” My dad, Blaine, yelled.

Windy’s POV

I had to follow where he was pointing at. I almost lost my footing and fell into the dead bodies. I shuddered and looked to see a person or whatever the thing was. It was crawling towards and I wanted no part of this thing until I saw it was Marylyn. She was covered in blood and guts with a big smile on her face. I could see two humps on her back and I was wondering if she was changed into something we couldn’t let live.

“Can someone please get my newest children off my back? They’ve definitely been eating.”

Sonny’s POV

I was looking at the same thing my dad and sister were looking at. Whoever it was looked as if they were not human. All I could smell was blood and guts. Not a great smell ever, especially if you just ate lunch and your dinner was coming up soon. When the person got closer to us I moved to protect my sister, but she had gone invisible. I was surprised she could do so when we were in her vision.

When Marylyn spoke I almost fell over. I couldn’t believe she had a smile on her face. But, what was really strange was when she walked through us. I turned, noticing all of us do the same, around to see who Marylyn was talking to and saw all my family smiling at her. We were all covered in blood just as Marylyn was. I shuddered not caring if anyone else saw me. We had never been this bloody when we were fighting and I didn’t want to ever be again. I had no doubts that this would happen. I hoped the rest of our pack was safe too.

I heard our vision doubles speak to each other. I heard them say the elderly and women were safe in the vault and we had only lost two warriors. I could see the sad look on my mother’s face after she heard about two of the warriors. I knew she had to have felt their deaths and it wasn’t easy on her as I knew it wouldn’t be easy on me either.

If I hadn’t seen this vision of Windy’s I wouldn’t have believed it. Now, I understood her shakiness and the wariness of letting our parents know what the vision showed. I knew the rest of us were shaken. I hoped she never had one like this one before. I felt for her. She had already seen this and now she was taking us with her. I knew she hadn’t looked up until our dad called out a question. I knew she didn’t want to see this again.

There were bodies everywhere, bodies of every supernatural out there, and bodies of creatures I had never seen before and didn’t want to see again. Whoever got ahold of the defunct King and Queen had made sure they were on full display. They were hanging from the roof of the castle. It was sickening. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

It would take weeks to burn all the bodies. We would need to separate each supernatural. We knew each supernatural species had their own way of burial and I, for one, didn’t want to upset anyone by burning their family. Most people would just burn them and forget about their wishes, but I wasn’t most people. I would need to contact each elder of each species. I wanted their family to know what happened to them and why. I didn’t want the families to think we killed them out of pleasure or hatefulness. It would be far from the truth.

I didn’t realize we were out of the vision until my mom came over and hugged Windy and me. I knew we had a lot of training to do and I wanted to see what the Royal Warriors and Army looked like. I needed to make sure they were up to snuff. I didn’t want anyone to be in this fight if they didn’t want to be. I would not command them to fight. It was up to them. I didn’t want to become a dictator.

I heard a whistle and raised my head. “Finally. I thought you were lost to us,” my mom teased me.

“No. I was thinking about looking at the Royal warriors and the Royal army. I want to make sure they are up to snuff and they want to fight for the right reasons. I will not command them to do so,” I explained as I sat down on a chair in the corner of the room.

“And, that is the reason you make a great Royal King,” my grandmother, the Moon Goddess, commented as she showed up, scaring the crap out of my dads'.

“Why do you feel the need to scare my mates every time, Mom,” my mother asked as she rolled her eyes.

“Uh, it’s fun?” She teased as she turned towards me, gesturing for Windy to come closer.

My grandmother looked at me and Windy. “You two need to go pack as soon as I’m finished talking to you. You will be leaving at four in the morn. I want you to catch the court off guard. I can’t wait to see the look on their faces.” She giggled. “Oh, you two need to teleport to the castle at exactly five, okay?”

“Okay,” both Windy and I answered as we teleported to our rooms.

I teleported back into the office, scaring my mom this time. “Sorry, Mom and Dads.” They looked at me strangely. “I command you three not to start a war until I give the go-ahead.”

I teleported back to my room quickly. I knew they were going to blow up on me. I counted down from three to one, of course, they knocked on my door before I could tell them to come in. I sighed and turned towards them. “I was told by my wolf to command you not to go to war until everything was in place.”

“Uh, okay. I know it’s hard on you, Sonny. But, remember you have parents to talk to if you ever need advice. It doesn’t matter if you are King or whatever. You are still our son, okay?” My mom replied, hugging me to her.

“Thanks, Mom. I’ll see you at dinner, okay?” I commented, wanting to be by myself for a few minutes.

My mom nodded and they walked out of my door. I sighed and sat down on a chair by my window. I felt as if I was dreaming. I wouldn’t have thought I would be a King. Hell, I wanted to be a warrior like my dads when I was little. I wasn’t sure what to think about being King or even an adult. I couldn’t believe I was only ten-years-old this morning and now I was over twenty.

“I know you’re there, Windy. You came in when our mom and dads’ came in. You were standing to the right of them and now you’re on my left side,” I informed her, a smile breaking its way on my face.

“How? No one else has caught me,” Windy whined as she showed herself.

“Me King." I pointed at myself and then point at her. "You Beta.” We both started laughing. “Have you finished packing or have you been stalking our brothers and sisters?”

“Uh, I’ve been practicing my new power,” she teased. “I’m going to start packing now. I’ll see you at dinner. And, Sonny, I’m glad you are going to be there with me.”

“Me too,” I told her as I gave her a hug and sent her on her way.

I had to pack. I knew I needed to, but it felt as if the weight of the world was on my shoulders. I decided to meditate to get rid of the stress - something my mother had taught all of us. I sat down on the floor and closed my eyes, breathing out the anxiety and breathing in calmness. I didn’t know how long I had sat on the floor and I didn’t care.

I opened my eyes and looked around. "Come out now!" I commented, a growl in my voice.
