James suddenly received a call saying that the case had beenwithdrawn and that the other party intended to give up holding themaccountable.

James’ mother thought she was hearing imaginary voices and quicklygrabbed the phone to confirm. "Really? The other party really decidedto drop the case? What about the compensation..."

"You don't have to pay.” The opposing lawyer said

When James heard the matter was solved so easily, he knew thatFranklin had achieved his purpose.

He didn't reach an agreement with Franklin before because heunderstood Franklin was behind all this the moment he went in andsaw Franklin. Sure enough, as soon as they met, Franklin asked him toleave Emily, or he would be in jail.

"James, I'm sorry.” Emily lowered her head and muttered.
