Hello, Mr. Brent
Chapter 251

"Trust? Affections?” Emily chuckled, "Franklin, don't you think whatyou're saying is ridiculous? When did we ever love each other? Do youforget how our relationship started? It was a mistake from thebeginning. We should have gone separate ways."

"Good. Great. You finally said what you are thinking.” Franklin sneered. But he felt as if his heart had been pierced by a sharp sword, and hewas overwhelmed with sorrow. He tried his best to be with her, butwhat he did meant nothing to her. From the beginning, she had nevertrusted him. From the beginning, she was pessimistic about thisrelationship. He was a huge mistake to her.

"What are you doing?" Emily shouted in shock.

They were already outside of the house, but Franklin picked her up andcarried her out of the car after the car stopped.

Of course, Emily struggled. She was not a child, and she was not hurt. How could she let him carry her?

But the more she struggled, the more Franklin refused to let her go.However, she was still an adult. Although she was not heavy, she couldexert much strength when she struggled, which would bring the manmuch trouble. It was just a show that men on TV series could easilycarry women and walk steadily when those women were struggling toohard.

Even if Franklin was so strong, his arms became weak and he loststrength because of her struggle. Finally, he had to let go and put Emilydown.

The minute Emily was finally free, she ran away, but she didn't expectFranklin to be faster than her.

This time, instead of picking her up, he suddenly held her waist, liftedher up, put her on his shoulder, and then walked forward.

Emily was dumbfounded and forgot to struggle.

When she came to her senses, she patted and hit Franklin on the backand shouted, "Put me down, Franklin. Let me go.”

But Franklin didn't say a word, seeming to be determined to carry herin.

Emily was made to shake as Franklin walked. She felt her stomachresting on Franklin's shoulder which made her so uncomfortable thatshe was about to vomit.

Fortunately, Franklin finally went into the bedroom upstairs.

Before she vomited, he threw her on the bed and pressed her down."Franklin, what are you doing? Go away. I don't want to see you." Emilyhad an upset stomach. Now that she was pressed against him, she feltlike she couldn't breathe.

However, Franklin did not walk away as she wanted. Instead, he keptpressing her down and said gloomily, “Emily, do you know how much Ihate you?"

Emily was stunned, then her eyes turned red with a grievance. Shegritted her teeth and said, "What right do you have to hate me? If itweren't for you, I wouldn't have suffered so much now, and I wouldn'thave lost Bryce.”

"Well, if you hate me for causing you to have lost your child, I'll giveyou another one. Emily, whether we can replace Bryce or not, we'll startover and give birth to our child.” Franklin said in a grave tone.

Emily was stunned, then struggled frantically and shouted, "No, I won'thave another child. I only want Bryce. I only want my Bryce."

But all her struggles and screams were seen as the grief of losing herson by Franklin. He didn't know what to do to make her forget the painnow and how to keep her with him.

Maybe they could have another child; maybe they could start overwhen they had another child

This was the only thought in Franklin's mind. He kept kissing Emilyaffectionately and held her struggling arms above her head. Since Emilywas exerting much strength, Franklin had no choice but to untie his tieand tie her hands.

"Emily, let's have another child. I'll try my best to replace Bryce. But if wecan't replace him, we'll have another child and forget about the pain andstart over again.” Franklin kissed and nuzzled Emily's fair cheek. However, Emily began to sob. Hearing Franklin said if they could notreplace Bryce, she felt as if a knife had pierced her heart. Ever since Brycedisappeared, she had never thought that she could not replace him.

But now that even Franklin said he may not replace him, she felt half of herhope was dashed and that she lost her way. She was heartbroken.

But she didn't want to have another child. She would never have a childanymore.

Apart from being unable to bear the pain of loss, the most importantthing was that having another child meant that Bryce had become apast. If they really couldn't get him back, she would lose him forever."No, no, I don't want to have a child. Let me go."

Emily suddenly tried her best to struggle again.

She didn't want to have a child. She didn't want to have any children. But her struggling was to no avail.

Emily didn't know that a person could be so sad. At first, she was stillstruggling violently. But then she gradually calmed down and looked atthe man on her coldly, as if she were a bystander.

Franklin's heart skipped a beat seeing those cold and sharp eyes. Whenhe looked into her eyes, an unknown feeling hit him. He got out of bed,put on his clothes, and left.

Emily closed her eyes, tears still streaming down.

However, she suddenly opened her eyes again, as if she had thought ofsomething, and ran out of bed and into the bathroom.

She would never have another child. She would never betray her Bryceto have another child.

"Miss Johnson, Miss Johnson." Lisa knocked on the door outside thebathroom.

After a long time, Emily came out of the bathroom, drenched.

Lisa sighed and quickly found a towel to wipe her hair and a hairdryerto dry it.

"Why torture yourself like this? You are hurting no one but yourself. Noone else will suffer for you." Lisa sighed.

Emily pressed her lips together and said firmly, "I won't have anotherchild. I have to replace Bryce. If I can't replace him, I won't have another child. Ionly want him all my life."

"Mr. Brent..."

"Don't mention him to me. I don't want to hear his name,” Emily saidcoldly.

Lisa sighed. She knew the two of them were at loggerheads and it wasimproper for her to say anything. She quickly poured Emily anotherglass of water to warm her up.

Emily did not refuse this time. She took it and held it in her hand, takinga sip from time to time.

But after drinking and putting down the glass, she lay on the bedstaring blankly.
