Chapter 25

The Alpha Princess, CHRIS, I can’t believe the Alpha wanted to see me at their own place…. The Alpha mansion was huge, and it wasn’t a place that any work was usually conducted. The Luna was precise on that… no work allowed to be discussed on her premises.

But today the Alpha had called me regarding work. Since Rayhan had left for his training, me and the girls rarely came to the mansion, or as some of us men joked, the Alpha princess’s prison. Raihana, the only daughter of our Alpha and Luna, didn’t really walk around the pack grounds often.

She didn’t train nor did she take part in any of the fighting events. I now glanced around the large garden. The security was tight, there were guards lining the outer walls of the mansion. I knew that was the Luna’s doing because she was still scared of witches.

I knew when Rayhan did end up bringing Delsanra home that it was not going to be easy. I glanced at my watch, ten minutes early…

Seriously, why did I bother to come here early anyway? I was about to knock when I heard the sound of someone grunting and then a pained whimper. I frowned as I slowly made my way around to the side of the house and noticed someone climbing through a window on the first floor.

I only caught a glimpse of a boot before they vanished inside. Weird. My instincts sharpened. Backing up, I rubbed my hands together and broke into a run before I jumped, flipping in the air, and grabbed onto the ledge.

I swung in through the open window to what looked like an office. I instantly saw a woman rummaging in the desk drawers. She gasped when she spotted me. I realised it was none other than Raihana, and by the looks of it, she was the only one in here…

Why was she sneaking into her dad’s office? She quickly shoved the drawer shut, running a hand through her glossy waves that were slightly tousled. Her exotic doe eyes with those thick lashes gave me a judgmental once over.

Those pouty, glossy l!ps of hers caught my attention. My gaze trailed down… Dang she was super curvy. She wore a brown leather skirt with a black strapless top that did not leave much to the imagination. Her perfect legs were covered in sheer black tights, and she wore thigh–high boots.

”Seriously, what are you doing in here?” She asked. Her voice snapped me out of my thoughts, and I realised I had just been eyeing up Rayhan’s sister… fu*ck man. No wonder she wasn’t out and about much. I don’t think I’d be the only one admiring her.

She was fu*cking gorgeous, and I mean really fu*cking gorgeous. ”Can I help you?” She said, bringing me out of my thoughts once again. ”Hi to you too Raihana. You’ve grown.” And I don’t just mean your t!ts. Fu*ck. She raised an arched brow and looked me over.

”I don’t really greet egotistical trash, but… hi… now let me rephrase. Why are you in dad’s office? If you’ve come to see him, go to the front door.” She remarked, wrinkling that cute button nose of hers. ”Excuse me? Trash? Really, Raihana?”

”Yes really, now don’t avoid my question. She said, wrinkling her nose once again.” I had just showered. What the hell was with that face?” I’ve just showered, princess.” She simply shook her head and turned away.

Damn. Her as*s was big, this girl sure was blessed with every fu*cking thing *** ”Since you’re here to see dad, I’ll show you down.” Funny how she’s acting like I’m in the wrong. She was the one who had snuck through that window…. ”Sure, mind if I take a piss first?” I asked the moment she opened the office door. She stopped, raising an eyebrow. Her gaze flickered to the front of my jeans before she glared at me with those gorgeous eyes of hers.

”Seriously don’t you have any manners?” She asked with distaste. I gave her a patronising smirk. ”Well, it’s a part of human nature, so either you were thinking of me taking a piss, or my d!ck. If it was the latter, job done.” I remarked mockingly with a wink.

”Why would I want to think about your d!ck when I’ve heard so much about it from your countless whoring escapades that I could practically draw a picture of it if I wasn’t bored out of my mind hearing about it.” She shot back

”Oh yeah? What’s the point of drawing a picture of it from hearsay, I wouldn’t mind posing na*ked for you if you want me to. Was I flirting with her? Fu*ck maybe? She rolled her eyes, scoffing as she gave me a once–over.” Hun, it was an example. I mean, why would I even want to draw something so overused and even more overrated.

”She tossed back at me. Dang” Ouch. That hurt.” I whispered, placing a hand on my chest. ”Good.” She whispered back mockingly. Now you know where the bathroom is right? I’ll let Dad know you’re here.

”She didn’t wait for a reply before she walked off, and I won’t lie, I almost whistled at the site of that booty. ‘Nice as*s‘. I said through the link. I frowned when I felt nothing, weird… ‘Raihana?‘ Nothing… I didn’t even feel a block… It was just as if there was nothing there… I headed downstairs after a quick stop at the bathroom and saw her on her phone. ”Finally.” She remarked, tossing her hair.

The whiff of coconut and magnolia filled my nose. Why was her behaviour actually amusing me? I was now perving at Rayhan’s baby sister, although she was anything but a baby… Ok, Lola would so kill me right now” Chris!

”Alpha Rafael called, a smile on his face as he stepped out of one of the several doors that led to the entrance hall. He is probably the nicest Alpha I have ever come across, and I have met a lot. ”Alpha.” ”Drop the Alpha son! Do I need to keep telling you?”

He said, meeting me with a hug. He had really been there for me since my parents died. Although I didn’t let on, it had hit me hard. I have two younger siblings, so it was kind of tough. One was now mated and gone but hey, I’m dealing, and the Alpha is amazing.

”Come on into the lounge.” He said, Raihana, will you mind getting us some drinks? Your mom and some of the staff have gone shopping.” The Luna wasn’t home? Interesting.

Probably why he just decided to call me here. ”Ok.” She said, narrowing her eyes as she gave me a look, which I returned with one of my own. The Alpha chuckled at our exchange, she walked off and I had to fight myself not to follow the sway of her h!ps with my eyes.

”Is all cool?” I asked dropping onto one of the luxury sofas. The place was very regal, decorated with marble, gold filigree patterns, grand chandeliers and furniture pieces that cost thousands per item. ”Actually, not entirely.” He said, his smile fading.

Ok, shit, not what I was expecting. If this was about Rayhan, I swear he better make it up to me when he gets home. ”What I say stays between the two of us.” He sighed, clasping his hands in front of him” I had originally wanted Rayhan to have returned by now, but he is stubborn and well… I trust you, Chris. I am a very good judge of character and I feel like you are someone I can’t trust.

”Thanks.” I said with a smirk when the door opened and in walked the sexy little doll. She strutted over, placing the tray down. If I didn’t look away, she would have given me a full-on view of her br*easts. I made sure my gaze was on the Alpha and not his daughter’s t!ts.

”Close the door, Raihana.” Alpha Rafael said. She did so and then sat next to her father, who wrapped his arms around her protectively. I didn’t miss the worry in his eyes when he kissed the top of her head. What the hell was going on?

”Tell me, Chris, how much do you know about witches?” I tensed, my face paling. Fu*ck he knows. My heart was thundering as I looked at him, a look of sympathy and understanding on his face.

”A little,” I said. Shit Rayhan, you dipshit, I swear if I’m put in a tight position… He seemed to be waiting for an answer, so I picked up one of the glasses of juice and sat back. ”Do you want me to tell you what I know?” Raihana smirked.

”Duh.” I frowned at her, trying not to pay attention to the way she was twirling a strand of her hair around her finger. ”Witches are elemental, although they can use spells of other elements, they are in tune with their own elements a lot more and can use it with ease. Some witches have more than one element and this can combine into a new element, such as water and air, you get ice.

Only females are witches, their male counterparts are stronger than humans and are referred to as wardens. They can perform some spells if given the correct tools. Apart from that, they hate our kind… and we don’t get on… What else did he want me to say? ”And do you know how a witch bloodline’s work?” Rafael asked, as Raihana passed him a glass of juice.

”Usually through their female born?” I asked. I had no idea where this was going. ”Yes, usually the eldest daughter of the witch would be the strongest and inherit some of their mother’s powers. So when the previous generation passes on, the first female of the next generation’s powers will increase.” Alpha Rafael explained while drinking his juice.

I didn’t know that, but why the hell were we discussing this? And how did he knows o much? ”Umm, no offence, but is there a point for me to know all this?” I asked. He looked at me, his Alpha aura now rolling off of him. ”What we speak of today is to never leave this room.” He said, his Alpha command absolute and I found myself bending my head to him.” Understood.” ”I replied. Confusion ripped through me, and I wondered what was going on.”

Good, there’s a reason for this, Chris. I will understand if you do not want to be a part of this, but you are one of the ones I feel is open–minded enough to understand.

”He looked at his daughter and I could hear her heart racing. For a moment the confident sassy Raihana was gone, and she looked older, a frown on her face and a pout on her l!ps. I was confused but I stayed silent where was this going?

”Endora had three sons and no daughters.

” Alpha Rafael said. I frowned, I know that… It hadn’t been confirmed openly to the world, but everyone knew the current Rossi line was born from a witch–werewolf hybrid mother. It was then realisation hit me like a tonne of bricks.

My eyes snapped to the brunette beauty before me, a small humourless smile crossed those pouty l!ps. ”You are looking at the first–born daughter of Endora’s line… Surely you can work the rest out?” My mind was spinning as I realised what this meant.
