Chapter 56

Gabriella could not sleep that night. She is thinking of what she will tell Riccardo. Gabriella does not want him to believe he has won her over yet, and she must say to him that so he understands she is not a pushover. She will tell him that he can not touch her until she is ready. He is not allowed to treat her like a servant in their house, and he will have to come home more often if he wants them to work on their relationship. Gabriella has gotten so used to the photos of Mary in their house that she forget about them. The following morning she gets up. Pack her stuff and goes to the kitchen to cook breakfast, but as she walks in, she sees Riccardo has already made coffee and ordered breakfast.

“I will go home with you, and I have already packed my stuff. I talked to Jennie last night, and she is willing to let me go. She was very understanding, but I have certain conditions,” Gabby says. She names her conditions, and Riccardo agrees. He needs Gabby home to protect her and show her that he does love her.

“I agree. I will call my pilots to get the private jet ready, and we can fly home as soon as the plane is ready for take-off. It will take about four hours or so,” Riccardo says. He is in a hurry before Gabby can change her mind. It will be hard for him to keep his hands off her, but he has done it for so long that he thinks he can manage. Gabby calls Jennie.

“Hi Jennie, I am going home today as you suggested. Wish me luck,” Gabby says.

“Hi Gabby, you don’t need luck. If Riccardo mistreats you, I am only a phone call away. You know Mabel, and I will always have your back,” Jennie says. They talk about the conditions and work stuff. Gabby promise to keep in touch as she and Jennie have become close friends. Jennie calls Mabel and tells her about what happened, and Mabel agrees that it is the best way for the couple to sort out their relationship issues. Mabel grabs Bernardo’s hand and drags him to the car. She wants him to go and talk to his sister before they leave. Bernardo has no choice but drives to LA. He will do anything to make Mabel happy. She has been mean to him the last few days, and he knows it is because of the way he treated Gabriella. When they reach Mabel’s apartment in LA, Bernardo gets out and opens the door for Mabel. She glares at him, and he knows he is still not entirely out of the dog box. They walk up to the front door and knock. Mabel replaces it funny that she is knocking on her front door, but she does not want to walk in on someone being naked or something.

“Come in. It is open,” Gabby says from the other side. Gabby is glad to see Mabel when she walks in. She looks at her brother and does not know what to say. She does not know what they are doing here, but she is afraid to speak to Bernardo first. Last time he was not too friendly with her.

“Hi, Gabby. I am here to apologise for my behaviour. I know what happened in the past was not your fault and that you also suffered under the situation. Mabel told me your story, and I feel like a jerk. You came to me in my time of need, and I was rude to you. Can you please replace it in your heart to forgive me?” Bernardo pleads with his sister.

“Hi, Bernardo. I am glad you came here. But of course, I will forgive you. You are my big brother, and we are family,” Gabby says. Riccardo looks at the siblings hugging each other. His mouth is hanging open. So here he is f*****g begging her for forgiveness, and Bernardo only has to say a few words and gets forgiveness in less than a minute.

“Well, that is not fair. So Bernardo gets forgiven and gets a hug while I am not allowed to touch you,” Riccardo says. The rest laugh at Riccardo, who looks like a boy who got his toy taken away.

“Well, we do not want to keep you. You must be in a hurry to get home,” Mabel says, and she hugs Gabby, then she walks over to Riccardo and hugs him.

“I know it is not the hug you want, but I hope things work out for the two of you,” She says to Riccardo. Bernardo shakes Riccardo’s hand and gives his sister another hug.

“We visit Sicily on our honeymoon and come and see the two of you,” Bernardo says. He feels guilty toward his sister and wants to make up for the lost time. Bernardo also wants to go and visit his stepfather and his mother. He has a lot to say to them. It will not be pleasant, though. He thinks he will take Riccardo with him so Riccardo can replace out what the two people did to him and his sister.

“I can not wait,” Gabby says. However, she is happy that she and her brother make peace at last and that her parents can not get in the wait of them being friends anymore. She loves her brother and is constantly worried about him. She is happy he found Mabel as she knows Mabel will keep his feet on the ground and make sure he does not get too reckless. Mabel and Bernardo leave, and this time Mabel rests her head on Bernardo’s shoulder.

“I am so proud of you,” Mabel says, and Bernardo smiles. He also feels happiness inside himself, knowing he does have family that cares about him, even if it is only his sister. He should not have mistreated her in the past and excepted the help and love she was trying to give him. Gabby is a great person, and he is glad he could let go of the envy and hatred he felt for her. She went through more hell than he did, and still, she loved him like a sister loves her brother. He should have given her a chance a long time ago.

“I am glad I made peace with Gabby. I did not know what she was going through, and you helped me and showed me what a great sister I have. Thank you, baby, for not giving up on me,” Bernardo says.

“You know I will never give up on you, even if I want to kick you in the balls a lot of time,” Mabel says and smiles lovingly at her husband, looking at her suspiciously.

“I did nothing wrong. You have no reason to kick me in my ball,” Bernardo says.

“Yeah, it is just a warning for the future,” Mabel says, laughing.

“I love you, but you are a bloody handful,” Bernardo says. Mabel laughs again, and Bernardo stops the car and k****s her.

“I love you, and I still want some babies, so I will not kick you in the balls,” Mabel says.

“Thank you,” Bernardo says sarcastically. Mabel smiles at him as she loves her husband and likes teasing him.

Riccardo and Gabby drive to the airport. She sits close to the window, as far away from Riccardo as possible. It hurts him, but he does not say a word. He does not know that it is not because of him but because Gabby can not trust herself to be too close to him. As they get to the airport, the plane is ready and waiting for them. Inside the plane, Gabby wants to take a seat across from Riccardo. She does not want to sit next to him, but as she is about to sit down, her shoe gets caught in the rug, and she falls forward and lands with her boobs in Riccardo’s face. Riccardo did not expect it, and he grabbed hold of her touching her bum. Gabby knows her clumsiness caused the whole fiasco and can not blame Riccardo. Riccardo gets a lovely view of her breasts and does not want to let go of her, but he knows she will be mad if he takes advantage of the situation. She is not wearing a bra as her dress is very low cut in the front and does not allow for a bra. Gabby feels her cheeks go red as she can feel Riccardo’s head lift, and she knows he is getting a good view of her breasts. She pulls herself together and regains her balance. She quickly sits down and pretends she does not know that Riccardo saw and felt her naked breast on his face!

“Sorry, my shoe caught on the rug, and we will consider that the hug you wanted,” Gabby says. She can see what the incident did to Riccardo as his pants in front look a bit too small for his tools.

“I am not complaining,” Riccardo says as he sits back to relax and tries to think of the most unsexy thing to get himself down. He knows Gabby’s eyes drifted to his crotch. Riccardo can not stop thinking about Gabby’s breasts, and he is having a hard time getting his p***s to behave.

She takes a magazine and starts looking throw it, but she keeps feeling aware of the man sitting across from her staring at her dress. She feels uncomfortable and wishes she has worn another dress. The waitress walks in with only one glass of champagne and hands it to Riccardo. They are used to ignoring Gabriella when she is onboard the plane.

“Why did you not bring my wife a glass?” Riccardo asks. The waitress looks at him as if he is crazy.

“It is fine. I am used to your staff treating me as one of them,” Gabby says.

“Well, that is bullshit! She is your Donna, and you will treat her with respect! After this flight, you are fired!” Riccardo says. He never told his staff to treat her without respect. The blond glares at Gabby, and Gabby look down.

“If you look at my wife like that one more time, I will let my men throw you off the plane! Apologise for your behaviour to your Donna,” Riccardo says. He never knew his staff treated Gabby as if she was a servant.

“I am sorry, Donna,” The waitress says, and she walks away fast. She is close to tears as she always thought she had a chance with the Godfather once he divorced Gabriella. But unfortunately, it looks like the Don has fallen in love with Gabriella. She hates Gabriella, and when she brings her a glass of champagne, she spills it all over Gabriella’s dress. Finally, Riccardo had enough of the waitress, and he called his men and told them to do with her as they liked and then get rid of her. He knows his men like willing women, and they will enjoy her company on the plane tonight.

“Please, Riccardo, you can not love this woman! She is beneath you! I am the one that needs to be by your side,” The waitress screams as they drag her away.

“Have I ever touched you or given you a reason to think I want you! And how dare you call me by my name? I am your Don!” Riccardo says.

“No, but I thought we had a connection,” The waitress tries one more time.

“Take her away. I never want to see her face again,” Riccardo says. Gabby is quiet the whole time. She is relieved that she has a reason to go and change her dress now. Riccardo can see the dress clinging to her breasts. Riccardo can feel himself getting hard again, and Gabby, when she sees it, jumps up and asks one of the men to take her suitcase to the bathroom so she can change. Riccardo is even angrier at the waitress now, and he can not wait to get home where he can pursue his wife and make her his.
