I began pacing the room nervously, my hand gripping the ring box in my pocket as anticipation filled me. Today I would make Emery mine..she is going to be my wife. My f*****g wife! I couldn't wait much longer and with each second that passed, the knots in my stomach tightened more and more. Emery had just texted me that they arrived at the courthouse and were using the bathroom to get ready.

I was here with Carson, Jack, and Allen in a separate room just outside where we will be performing the ceremony. Jack looked like he was about to throw up he was so nervous..you would think it was his wedding and Carson looked emotional. I was surprised. I guess he already saw Em because he had to bring Jackie a charger for her phone and he seemed like he had been crying or something. That's when I knew I was screwed. I knew for a fact I would be crying like a damn baby soon enough..

I have imagined this day so many f*****g times..and even though it isn't anything like those scenarios I dreamed up, it's just as perfect because the girl of my dreams is the one I will be standing next to.

"You good dude?" Carson asked while squeezing my shoulder. I just nodded my head and let out a long deep breath I had been holding.

"I just want to see her." I confessed, watching as the door suddenly opened and made my heart practically leap out of my chest.

"Hello, Mr. McNeal, I am Judge Matthew Brown, I will be officiating this wedding today." An older man with grey hair and tan skin explained. I swiftly shook his hand and watched as Scott and Officer Monroe came into the room soon after. "Thank you sir." That was about all I could say..I was losing it.

"Calm down son, you will see her soon enough." The Judge laughed before slapping me on the back and shaking Allen and Jack's hands, who were standing not too far away from me.

"Em's ready for you two." Scott informed Allen and Jack and I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy rising up..they get to see her too? It's not fair.

I let out a groan and swiftly ran my fingers through my hair impatiently.

That's when I heard the sound of heels clicking towards us as my mom slipped into the room. She wore a soft pink silk dress with long lace sleeves and matching heels. Her hair was curled and she looked beautiful.

"Oh Asher, look at you. You look so handsome." She expressed with raw emotion as she walked up to me and straightened my bow tie. I had a classic three-piece suit on with a white dress shirt underneath and a matching black bow tie. The rest of the guys were dressed similarly, the only difference was their dress shirts were black.

"You look beautiful, mom." I admitted and looked down into her tear-filled eyes.

"Wait until you see her Ash, she is going to take your breath away." She smiled up at me brightly and I couldn't help but swallow hard..f**k I wanted to see her so bad..I wanted to hold her and kiss her, to taste her sweet lips. "Okay, we are ready to enter the courtroom." Judge Brown instructed as I turned my head to see a woman carrying some papers walk in.

We followed the judge into the room, it was smaller and had a few rows of chairs facing a small stage and podium.

Officer Monroe smiled at me as he and Scott went to sit down. Suddenly the rest of our small group came into the room and joined them. Mack and Jackie wore lavender-colored dresses and had their hair done up. I was surprised by how much we accomplished for such a last-minute wedding. It was actually much easier than I thought..I was even able to get the wedding band that matched Emery's ring perfectly.

My mom squeezed my hand one last time before kissing me on the cheek and pulled away.

"I'm so proud of you son. You deserve this..you both do." She spoke softly and I nodded my head toward her, trying not to have a damn heart attack as the anticipation was literally killing me.

"Please, stand right here Son." Judge Brown instructed and I followed his directions mindlessly..how was I even functioning still? I felt like I was about to pass out.

"Everyone please rise." A bailiff I didn't see before stated firmly and I shifted on my feet, my head swirling and making me feel dizzy as my eyes zeroed in on that door..I just had to see her..I had to know she was feeling the same..for some odd reason I feared she was having doubts..I was convincing myself that she would get cold feet and run.

Before I could spiral further into my self caused madness..that's when I saw her..I swear the whole room let out a collection gasp, or maybe it was just all me..but once our eyes met..fuck me..all those fears and doubts disappeared instantly. I watched as the most beautiful woman in the world took slow tentative steps towards me as her beautiful white dress swayed back and forth..she was breathtaking..her brown hair cascaded down her shoulders beautifully in curls and was pinned back with some type of pearl clip. She had light makeup on that made her glow and I couldn't pry my eyes off of her. I didn't realize I was crying until she was right in front of me. That's when I felt her hand reach up and brush my cheek. I didn't even realize Jack and Allen both walked her towards me until they took my hand and shook it.

"I know you will take care of her son. I know you will love her all the days of your life." Allen spoke gently, making me nod my head as I still couldn't look away from Emery, I was mesmerized.

"I love you." She mouthed while the most beautiful smile filled her face and I felt my heart burst.

"I love you too." I gasped, trying to lean forward to kiss her but was abruptly stopped by the Judge.

"We will get to that part soon enough young man, let's get started shall me?" The Judge laughed, followed by everyone else in the room..but honestly I had forgotten anyone else was here..in my eyes it was only Emery and I couldn't pull my gaze away from her. There was no way in hell I could..

"Please, join hands." Judge Brown's voice boomed and I looked down at Emery's small hands and quickly placed them in my own. Fuck she is stunning..that dress and the way it is covering her curves..this is far better than anything I ever dreamed of..and I can't wait to rip it off of her when she is finally mine..all f*****g mine.

"Thank you for joining us today. We are all here to witness the union of Asher McNeal and Emery Lewis in marriage. If anyone has any reason to object this union, please speak now." The Jude began, making Emery's big hazel eyes gleam up at me as I squeezed her hand. Luckily nobody spoke up..I was still worried about Jack to be honest.. I stared down at my girl, wanting to kiss her so damn bad..her perfectly pink plump lips and the way her full chest was rising and falling in that gorgeous dress made my heart race. "Today, you begin a new life together. The promises you make to each other should not be taken lightly. A marriage is more than a ceremony, it is a lasting and lifelong commitment that you both should cherish." He continued, making Emery bite her lip softly as I leaned down instinctively, making the Judge clear his throat and scold me for trying to kiss her once again. Emery let out a giggle and I swear my heart burst all over again.

"The future will be filled with many happy days ahead, but also some challenges as well. It is through love, trust, and constant support of each other that you will face these trials." The man continued, and honestly, it was all going through one ear and out the other..all I was thinking was how much I love this woman..how much I can't live without her.

"If either of you would like to speak, and express this love now is the time to do so." The man continued, cutting through my thoughts as I felt Emery trying to pull her hands away from me, causing me to frown.

"I have to get my vows baby." She whispered, making the Judge chuckle as I cleared my throat and reluctantly let her go.

I watched as Emery pulled out a piece of paper from a pocket I didn't even realize her dress had..that's pretty cool. I stared at her intently as those trembling hands I love so much unfolded the small paper and saw her eyes gleaming down at them.

"Asher, from the moment I met you, I knew you were the one. I knew you were something so amazing and incredible that just being in a room with you was enough for me. I never imagined being so lucky..I never imagined that dreams do come true. I always wished for a happy ending, I wished for a love so pure and true just like my parents had and then I loved you. Thank you..thank you for giving me a chance and for loving me too. Thank you for making me laugh and always brightening up my days even with just one smile. I promise to always love you..to never take this for granted because I saw what a world without you would be like.." She choked out, her words making us both cry as I wiped her tears from her cheeks.

"I don't want to spend a single second without you..there is no way I can bear it. So again, thank you for loving me because, without you, there is no me..it's always been you Asher McNeal." She ended and I couldn't hold back any longer..I smashed my lips against hers, kissing her deeply as I heard sniffling and laughter in the crowd.

"I love you Emery..I love you so much." I gasped and she let out a chuckle before wiping my cheeks with the palms of her hands.

"Your turn." She whispered, making me nod my head as I stood up straighter. I quickly grabbed her hands and held them tight as I squeezed her lovingly.
