Chapter 180: Take Those Words Back!
Chapter 180: Take Those Words Back!
Mia was very direct, and she stopped talking.
"I'm going to leave now. Bonnie won't be happy to see me when she gets back."
Myles couldn't stop thinking about what Mia just said.
"Is she just used to having him around, or does she like him?"
Mia saw Myles's mind wandering, and she turned around and left the room without saying another word.
Bonnie didn't go to get her phone. She just sat down in the hall, staring blankly at the front.
The sound of the elevator got Bonnie's attention, and she blinked.
Then the sound of the high heels hitting the floor brought Bonnie's mind back to reality.
After a quick look, Bonnie got up and saw Mia coming down with her containers.
Mia said first, "Bonnie."
Bonnie paused, then looked at Mia nonchalantly. "Are you leaving?"
"Yeah, Myles didn't want you to be upset, and I didn't want Myles to be upset, so I didn't want to stay."
"Mia's words were very touching."
"She is so sweet and understanding."
"1
But Bonnie knew that Mia was not such an understanding person.
Sure enough, Mia said, "Bonnie, if you don't like him and you don't want to marry him, why don't you stay away from him?"
Bonnie looked up at Mia when she heard her words. "What do you mean?"
Mia gave her a faint smile. "Myles just told me that you don't want to marry him. If you like him, how can you not want to marry him? So, that just means you don't like him, right?"
Bonnie was about to defend herself, but instead, she said, "So what? What are you trying to say? Are you telling me to stay away from him and give you a chance?"
"Bonnie, would you stop being so selfish? You have been hogging him since you were a kid. And if you don't like him, why don't you just tell him and stop keeping him around you like an idiot?" "What can I do if he just likes to stick around?"
Mia's words probably provoked her, Bonnie went a little out of control.
Mia sneered. "So even if you don't like him, you don't say refuse him. You let him be a fool."
"What's that to do with you? I didn't force him to love me. If you are able to, you can make him stick with you."
"Bonnie, you haven't changed since you were a little girl. You're still selfish and arrogant!"
"Yeah, I am selfish and I love watching him around me like a fool!"
"Isn't he just a fool? What good about you that keeps him stick around you all day?"
"If you don't like him, please don't give him any more hope."
Perhaps Bonnie's words were too much for Mia, she dropped the sentence and walked away.
Bonnie stood there for a few moments, stunned, then sat down again.
Would Myles still be around her if he knew what happened?
After all, when Myles' parents died, Myles felt like he had lost his soul and was crying out of breath while holding her.
At that time, she wanted to confess, but in the end, she watched Myles cry so much that she chose to be selfish and didn't dare say a single word.
She was afraid that if she did, Myles would never appear in her world again.
It never occurred to her that one day Myles would not be there for her.
She could not imagine what she would do if Myles was no longer with her.
After sitting in the hall for a long time, Bonnie got up and went to Myles's room.
She entered the room, and Myles was leaning against the head of the bed and checking his phone.
As Bonnie walked in, Myles unconsciously glared at her. "Yanis just called."
Hearing this, Bonnie looked at Myles with a concerned face. "What did she say?"
She said that Grandpa Travis called you and asked if you would be back tomorrow night."
Bonnie breathed a sigh of relief.
Suddenly realizing something, Bonnie looked over at Myles.
Myles looked back at her. "Bonnie."
Myles always used to call her that.
But this time Bonnie was a little nervous when Myles called her name.
"What... What's wrong?'
"Come here."
Bonnie stood still for a moment, stunned. Then she walked over. "What?"
Myles reached out and pulled Bonnie to his side.
She fell onto Myles's body. When she was about to get up, he held her as he whispered, "Bonnie, why don't you want to marry me?" "Here we go again."
When Bonnie wanted to get up again, Myles pressed her down, "Bonnie, tell me why now, and I promise I'll never bring it up again, okay?"
Bonnie took a deep breath. "Myles, I said I don't want to..."
"What about in the future?"
Myles asked again before she could finish her sentence.
Bonnie stumbled, and the two fell into silence again.
After a long pause, Bonnie said, "Myles, can we talk about this later?"
"Bonnie, you're doing it because you know I can't live without you. You're doing it because you know I love you. You're doing it because you know I won't leave you!" Myles said this with a bit of gnashing of his teeth like he was about to bite Bonnie the next minute.
Bonnie was on top of him, and she could hear his heart beating.
Bonnie stirred, then slowly rose to her feet and looked into Myles's angry eyes.
"Myles, what do you like about me?"
"I don't like you at all!"
Bonnie laughed, then kissed him on the lips without saying anything.
Myles tensed up in shock as she kissed him.
Over the years they had been together, Myles had forced her for the kiss. After he kissed her, Bonnie would beat and kick him. She even got upset for a couple of days. He thought it was because Bonnie was shy, and he never regrated kissing her.
This was the first time Bonnie had taken the initiative.
It only took Myles a few seconds to take control.
But if not for his injuries, Myles would have gone further with Bonnie.
Before he could calm himself down, Bonnie turned him on even more. He got so emotional and nervous all of a sudden.
He just looked at her and asked, "say that again?"
Bonnie was standing by the bed, a little patronizing, her face nonchalantly. "If you can move, I'll sleep with you once. Make it up to you, then we'll..."
"Bonnie!" Myles didn't give her a chance to finish her sentence. "You take those words back!"
