Chapter 365: the Business Circle Was In Chaos In Manches City.
Miller sighed. "It's my sin."
That done, Miller looked at Zane. "You can pay your attention to dealing with the matter about Finley and I'll take care of the affairs in the company. There's too much in your plate." Zane nodded. "OK. I'll let Albi follow you."
Zane responded ad looked at Albi.
Albi got it and said to Miller. "Let's go first."
Miller got up but stopped after taking a few steps. "Deal with it as soon as possible and spend more time with Yanis."
Hearing Miller's words, Zane whispered, "I see."
After Miller left, the lawyers arranged by Haider entered Zane's office under the guidance of the secretary.
It was already 8:00 P. M after dealing with everything.
Zane was worried about this Yanis throughout the afternoon and sent many messages to her.
Yanis all texted him back, so Zane was a little relieved after making sure that she was OK.
He planned to come to Linen Bay after his work.
He had just picked up his coat when the door was pushed open.
Albi came in from outside. "Mr. Lawrence, are you going back?"
Zane replied, "Well, did my father go back?"
"I had someone take him back. Shall I take you back?" Albi said.
Zane glanced at his watch. "I'll drive back by myself. You can back now and it's OK to come over later tomorrow." "OK."
Zane found his car in the garage and went to Linen Bay.
Bonnie was in Linen Bay with Yanis the whole afternoon.
As soon as Zane came in, he saw Bonnie and Yanis sit on the sofa and chat.
Hearing the movement, Yanis looked at the door first. "You're back."
Zane changed his shoes at the entrance, took off his coat and hung it on a hanger. "Have you guys had dinner?"
Yanis responded to him.
Bonnie was eagle-eyed. Seeing Zane come back, she got up and said, "Well, I gonna go. If you still have something to deal with tomorrow, you can call me and I'll be free at any time." That was what Bonnie said to Zane.
Zane nodded and thanked Bonnie. As Bonnie walked out, Zane asked, "Are you going to drive back yourself?"
Bonnie stopped and looked at Zane. "I drove here myself."
Zane nodded. "I'll send you back."
That done, without Bonnie's response, Zane turned to look at Yanis sitting on the sofa and said softly, "I gonna send her downstairs."
Yanis replied, "Well, put on the coat. It's cold outside."
Zane reached for his coat and put his shoes back on.
"Yanis, have a good rest. See you tomorrow."
If it weren't for the fact that there was only a bed, Bonnie would have stayed here.
But thinking about Yanis's current situation, maybe she needed Zane to be with her.
Yanis answered, "Well, be careful. Text me after coming back at home."
Bonnie responded slightly and followed Zane out the door.
As the two walked in the direction of the elevator, Bonnie asked, "How long will it take for the things in the Lawrence Group?" "Maybe about two days."
Bonnie nodded. "You..."
Bonnie was about to ask Zane how he planned to deal with Lucia's things but thinking of Yanis's words, she swallowed the words that came to her lips. "You can come back. I'll go home myself." Zane didn't speak. When he walked to the elevator, he reached out to help Bonnie press the elevator button. "I remember that the Cooke family is also involved in real estate, right?" Bonnie nodded. "Yeah. What's wrong?"
"There is a piece of land in the center that someone in the Cooke family wanted it before. Now it belongs to Finley, so it will be re-auctioned in two days. You can try."
After his words, Bonnie's eyebrows moved slightly. She asked directly, "What do you want?"
In Bonnie's view, Zane wouldn't help anyone for no reason.
Since he said such words, Bonnie thought it must be conditional.
The elevator door opened and Zane motioned for her to go first.
Bonnie stepped into the elevator and Zane followed her.
After the door closed, Zane said, "Nothing."
Bonnie looked at him. "So why did you tell me it?"
"Well, if I help you, you'll owe me a favor."
"So what?"
"I hope that the Cooke family will always stand on Yanis's side in the future."
Bonnie chuckled. "As long as I'm here, the Cooke family will stand on Yanis's side definitely."
Zane glanced at her and didn't speak again.
After the elevator stopped on the first floor, Bonnie stepped out of the elevator first. "You can go up now. I'll tell them the news and they'll owe you a favor." Zane paused for a few seconds and said thank you.
Bonnie looked at Zane. "You...well, nothing. Go up now and spend more time with Yanis."
Zane nodded. He stood at the door, watched Bonnie drive the car away and then re-entered the elevator.
Myles called him as Zane walked out of the elevator.
Glancing at the caller ID, Zane answered the phone. "Myles."
Myles asked him directly, "Did Bonnie leave there?"
"Yeah." Zane whispered. "I told her about the land and she didn't doubt it."
"Thank you."
"Now we're even."
Myles laughed. "If so, I'm at a loss. I am time-consuming and laborious while it's just a matter of saying something for you."
Zane walked to the door but didn't open it. "How did you get that land? Why do you give it to the Cooker family?"
Myles turned silent for a while before saying, "May be that's what we Baxter family owe Cooke family."
Hearing his words, Zane didn't speak more.
After chatting casually for a while, the two hung up.
After putting away his phone, Zane just wanted to come in when he received a message.
It was from Albi.
[Mr. Lawrence, Lucia's court is going to be held tomorrow. Shall you show off in person?]
Zane planned to let Yanis deal with it originally but Yanis didn't ask for anything or do anything after so many days.
Not even a word about what Lucia did.
He had to solve it finally.
"I'll attend it."
After that, Zane put his phone into his pocket, pushed the door open and walked in.
As soon as he came in, Yanis looked at him. "Did Bonnie come back?"
Zane responded and changed his shoes at the entrance. After taking off his coat and hung it on the hanger, Zane sat down next to Yanis. He held Yanis's hands, which were kind of cold. "Yanis."
