Chapter 415 You Shouldn't Bother Her
When Maggie heard it, she stopped on her track and turned around dully, "What did you say?" Luca looked at Maggie, his voice very light. "I have the same symptoms as our mother."
When Maggie heard Luca's words, her expression changed slightly. "When did you replace out?"
Luca whispered, "One and a half months ago. I stayed in the hospital for a month and then stayed at home for some time. Some indicators have dropped now, but the doctor said maybe I only have ten years to live."
Maggie frowned. "So you want Stella to take care of you? Why would she?"
Hearing Maggie's words, Luca shook his head. "No, that's not what I want. I just want to make up for her in the rest of my life. After all, we were together for more than ten years..."
"Luca, you and Stella were together for ten years. But you abandoned her for your first love. Even if you are going to die tomorrow, you shouldn't bother her. Do you understand what I mean?"
Luca stared at Maggie for a while, then sighed softly, "I understand."
Maggie took a deep breath, turned around, and walked towards the restaurant. Then she paused. "Come in."
Luca stood there and looked at Maggie's back, hesitating for a few seconds before going in.
The black Bentley was driving along the wide road at constant speed.
Yanis leaned on the passenger seat, looked at the flashing buildings outside the window, and couldn't help but sigh. Even though her sigh was very light, Zane heard it. He reached out and gently took Yanis' hand.
Yanis looked at Zane.
Zane also looked at Yanis.
"They'll take care of their own things."
Yanis hummed, "I know."
She suddenly became emotional, probably because she thought of the scene when she met Stella at the Civil Affairs Bureau.
At that time, she was also full of fear.
When Zane mentioned the divorce, she agreed without much hesitation.
No one else knew how sad she was.
Fortunately, after going through so many things, they got back together.
Thinking of this, Yanis held Zane's hand.
Back at D-king Castle, Zane wanted to talk to Yanis.
But Albi called suddenly, saying that there was something wrong with the project plan submitted two days ago. Zane needed to take a look. "I'll finish it soon. Take a bath and go for a rest." Zane came in, talking to Yanis while changing his shoes.
Yanis looked at him, "Work?"
Zane responded, "I'll be back soon."
Yanis changed her shoes. "Go ahead, I'll rest on the sofa for a while."
Zane wanted to say something, but after noticing Yanis's expression, he nodded, "I'll be back in about half an hour."
After finishing speaking, he leaned over and hugged Yanis, then turned around and entered the study.
After he left, Yanis took a glass of water and sat down on the sofa.
Thinking of what happened tonight, Yanis hesitated for a while and then opened Stella's Facebook.
But before she could decide what to say to Stella, Sandy called.
Yanis answered her call first.
"Yanis."
Yanis said, "Sandy, what's wrong?
"Do you have any ideas recently? Can you design another bracelet or ring for me?"
"Same as last time?"
Sandy murmured, "Up to you. Anyway, this show will almost end next week."
Yanis responded, "I'm afraid it will take two or three days to design and make it. Wouldn't it be late?"
Sandy said, "I made a deal with my uncle, and he will help."
Yanis hummed, "Okay."
There was some noise on Sandy's phone. She was probably on the crew.
Thinking of what had happened tonight, Yanis hesitated for a moment, and asked Sandy softly, "Sandy, do you know the owner of the restaurant we went to last time?" Sandy was slightly taken aback hearing what Yanis said. "The one we went to last time?"
Yanis hummed.
"I know. She is the sister of my sister's ex-husband. Her name is Maggie. She is a very nice person." After speaking, Sandy asked Yanis with a puzzle, "What's wrong? Why do you ask?" Yanis didn't tell Sandy what happened tonight. She was very aware of Sandy's temper, especially she was always protective of Stella. She could do silly things on impulse.
"It's okay, just a random question. We went there tonight and met her again."
Sandy said, "I thought something happened."
Yanis smiled, "No."
"By the way, Yanis, are you and your husband available the night after tomorrow?"
"The night after tomorrow?"
Sandy hummed, "It's my birthday. I want to have dinner with you."
Yanis replied, "No problem."
"Sandy, the camera is on!"
Someone called Sandy in the background.
"Coming!"
Sandy said, "Yanis, I got to work now. Bye."
Yanis hummed, "Bye."
She hung up the call and returned to Stella's Facebook.
It was showing that Stella was typing...
Yanis waited a while and received a message sent by Stella. "Yanis, I heard from Sandy earlier that you can design. Can you do me a favor?" Yanis replied, "What is it? Tell me."
"I bought a small apartment downtown for Sandy as a birthday present. Do you know anything about interior design?"
"I know a little bit but I'm not professional. I can introduce you to a professional designer if you want.
After a while, Stella called.
Yanis answered, "Stella."
Stella said, "Yanis, am I bothering you?"
Yanis said, "Nope, I'm alone."
Stella sighed, "Where's Mr. Lawrence?"
"He's busy in his study," Yanis said.
Stella said, "Yanis, I think you can do it. There is no need to hire a professional."
Yanis hesitated, "But I only know those theories. Do you trust me?"
Stella replied, "Then I'll be your first client."
Yanis smiled, "What's the name of that apartment?"
After Stella told her, she chuckled, "What a coincidence!"
