I got married without you (James and Amelia) -
Chapter 1028
Chapter 1028 Just a Woman
At that thought, Paul's eyes suddenly turned red, followed by a
cold sneer.
He thought, "It's just a woman. It's not a big deal. If I don't see her for ten days or two weeks, I'll forget about her."
After giving Eva one last glance, Paul turned around to leave with heavy steps.
After playing with Jayden and his colleagues for a while, Eva was called out by her manager who informed her that a big
shot had arrived.
She said goodbye to Jayden and immediately got up to go downstairs. However, when she got out of the elevator, she saw Paul leaving the nightclub.
He seemed to have gotten hammered, swaying on his feet as he walked away, relying on the door and walls for support. When Paul walked onto the road, he was almost hit by a speeding car. Eva was so worried that she rushed out.
"Pa..."
Before Eva could call out his name, Elsie, disregarding the danger, rushed into the traffic and helped Paul up.
The woman with a clean and fair complexion helped him to the side of the street. She was very nervous and worried and cried as she threw herself into his arms.
Paul didn't reach out to hug Elsie. Instead, he turned around and looked at Eva who was standing in the nightclub hall.
He thought, "This woman is really ruthless. She didn't even come to check on him when she saw that I almost got hit by a
car."
Paul sneered and then, in front of Eva, wrapped his arm around Elsie's waist and turned to leave while holding her.
Eva lowered her gaze and felt she gradually calmed down from nervousness. Then, she turned around.
When she looked up, she suddenly met Johnny's exquisitely beautiful face and his pair of eyes filled with hostility. Those eyes scared Eva so much that her heart, which had just calmed down, started pounding again.
"M-Mr. Brook..."
Eva was surprised to see Johnny showing up again, and she
took a step back in fear.
Johnny, however, took a step forward and approached her. His sharp and handsome eyebrows were slightly raised as he
looked at her.
"It's been long, Ms. Miller."
