Chapter 23

Third Person P.O.V

A very expensive car, driving at high speed slammed on its brakes just as it reached the entrance to a huge club. The people who had been coming out of the club, especially the women who were holding their boyfriends hands all turned around to see who this glowing white car belonged to.

The women's boyfriends were growling in displeasure as their mates stared at other males. Everyone's eyes were fixed on the car's doors as two handsome men stepped out. They both ignored the presence and prying eyes of all the women around them as neither of them wanted to mess with a woman who already had a mate.

"Today is the day that we go out clubbing together." David announced, yawning and stretching his arms into the air. David had been driving non stop all day, it had been a long trip for all of them.

"You have chosen a good location as our club, but I think we are late arriving. We should have come here sooner as it's half past ten ." Leo commented, taking his phone out of his pocket and looking at the screen. It seemed that Leo had some other place he wanted to be after this.

"No problem, the club doors will always be open for us as the friend of the club owner is right in front of you." David said and a proud laughter passed through his lips, resting in the ears of the man lying on the back seat of the car. "What I don't understand is why I have to spend my precious Sunday with the both of you." Asher complained, getting out of the car and taking his earphones out. Asher always found it best to wear earphones to avoid David's and Leo's constant running mouths and nonsense questions.

"Oh come on dude, we all have to go to school again tomorrow and today is chocolate day, so why don't we all enjoy the club together?" David asked, making Asher roll his eyes in boredom. Leo started to move his a*s onto the dance floor, he was making the most of the loud music being played in this club at the moment the song thumping through the speaker was one of his favourites. But he quickly changed his mind following David and Asher to the counter.

"Anyway, going to school was not an option today, so I could not get chocolates from any of my fangirls. Why don't we search for our own chocolates?" David suggested to Asher, pointing to the beautiful, delicate, and curvy women readily available all around the club. Asher's eyes scanned a beautiful, small, thin woman up and down. She was wearing too tight and small clothes, showing her big boobs to all the males around her. The woman heard David and blushed as she felt Asher's eyes on her. "What do you say? Do you want to try her? I know she is an Omega." David informed Asher, handing him a glass of wine.

"Don't be stupid. She is a kid and the more important thing is I am not interested in her." Asher replied. Leading to David almost choking on his wine, while Leo chuckled.

"What? Kid? You very well know who she is. She is from our school and she is the classmate of Luna. She is already 17, dude!" David exclaimed, trying to explain to him, but Asher just shook his head.

"She is still a kid because I am one year older than her." Asher held firm, giving him a lame excuse as to why he would not be getting close to that female. He knew she would soon move closer as she was listening to them. "Then what about Luna?" Leo whispered, earning Asher's gaze that was not actually angry like it usually was.

"What about her?" Asher asked, taking a sip of wine not guzzling it down his throat.

"She is also 17 if I am not wrong." Leo answered, taking a sip of his wine, playfully trying his best not to annoy his Alpha. Asher was looking at his glass deeply, remembering his kiss with her when she was sleeping. The rose he placed in her hair that only enhanced her beauty and the scent that he was obsessed with.

"She is different." Asher softly replied, while his hand was on the little wolf. David and Leo only smirked, not pulling their Alpha out of his musings.

"Are you still not sure which chocolate you want to eat?" Leo asked, ridiculing David.

"Today I want to eat some new chocolate." David retorted, looking at a woman sitting some distance away that was dressed in white. Asher and Leo saw the pretty, tall girl who was going to be the prey of David tonight and she also looked interested in him. Asher moved his eyes away from that female and Leo laughed to witness David. He could really make any woman's panties wet. The female came closer to David begining to touch his body.

"I think now I will be busy with her for the rest of the evening, but what about the two of you? Do you have any plans?" David inquired when his eyes caught something and he frowned. Asher and Leo followed his gaze, replaceing out that Victoria was sitting with a man. Not only just sitting, but he was roaming his hand on her arms.

"I did not know that Victoria was interested in him. Is he not a biology teacher and her pack member?" Leo wondered in a deep but slow tone, not wanting to provoke David in the wrong way.

"Yeah she's interested." Asher commented, his bold words hit David's mind as he clenched his fists in anger. His eyes were fixed on the hand of the biology teacher that was on Victoria's arms. David swiftly removed his eyes from her, looking away from the couple. While Asher and Leo glanced at each other.

"Don't tell me he's going to kiss her." Leo muttered. As David heard about it he quickly looked back towards them to replace that the biology teacher was sitting next to Victoria not across from her like before. His body language was clearly saying that he had planned to kiss her. The white clothed woman was watching and listening to the entirety of the three males' conversation.

"I am sure she will not resist as she is letting him touch..." Asher instigated, but did not get to complete his sentence as a smirk appeared on his lips when he watched David get up from his seat and charged toward Victoria. Leo chuckled lightly as he understood exactly what Asher had done.

"Where... where is he going?" The same thin female, dressed in white stuttered out as she observed David leaving, she was about to stop him there.

"He's going where he needs to be." Asher urged, giving the girl a glass of wine and preventing her from interrupting David.

"Find someone else." Asher suggested to her and left the club, leaving the female mesmerized by his handsome, rude and cool way that he had spoken to her. Her mouth remained open and Leo was looking at her with a smirk. "Sorry baby girl. You have to give up the idea of hitting on him as well. That Alpha already belongs to someone else." Leo informed, also giving his glass of wine to her as he too walked out of there.

"And what about you? Do you also belong to someone?" The female inquired. Leo stopped as he was taken aback by her questions.

"Why are you not?" She asked, coming closer to him.

"That's what I want to replace out." Leo replied, walking out of the club. The girl now had two handsome boy's glasses of wine and three gorgeous males whose services she would not be acquiring for the night. Regret was clearly visible on her face.

David was heading towards the couple, his body shaking with rage as he continued listening to them as he approached. He was climbing the stairs as the couple were seated on the second floor of the club. David's eyes turned red when he saw the board labeling it a private area.

Victoria's P.O.V

"Victoria, what did you say? Just accept David's rejection. As you know my mate is dead, so maybe we could have a second chance with each other. We were childhood lovers and I really love you, Victoria." George urged. All I could do was listen to him. He already knew that David was my mate and that he had rejected me, but it still caused me pain to think about that particularly harrowing event in my life, so I just slowly nodded.

"George, everything you are saying is correct, but I will t...." I began, but couldn't finish my words as David's large hand slammed down on the table. Causing all the alcohol on it to fall over and spill on George's clothes. I was startled to see David here, nevermind him looking ready to explode. He must have heard what George had said and saw me nodding my head, that must have blown his mind causing this burst of fury. "David." I called in a panic.

"What kind of behaviour is this?" George angrily asked, getting up from his seat.

"I used to think that you were just a biology teacher, but now I am also aware that you have experience in how to manipulate people. How dare you!" David sneered, using a smirk to try and cover the unbridled fury building inside of him, but I could still feel all of it in his heart. I got up from my seat, sensing that David's wolf was too angry, he had heard everything and now there was going to be a huge fight, but George isn't a normal wolf, he was the strongest wolf in our pack. He was the first son to the Alpha of my pack and I couldn't deny him, that was why I had come with him when he asked me to go out clubbing with him.

"What do you want to say, David?" George asked, gritting his teeth in irritation. I looked around to see if anyone would or could help, but everyone was just watching us like we were some soap opera come to life to entertain them. I knew I could not handle David, as he wouldn't even look at me. Ever since he had rejected me, he had always acted like I was invisible to him. It had caused me a lot of pain, so I knew that if I asked him to stop the circle would just continue, but George I could totally handle.

"George, please stop, there are humans here and they are watching us, I do not want a fight." I pleaded, but could see that he wasn't listening to me either. George and David stood closely in front of each other and I could hear the low rumbling growl emanating from both of their chests that they were directing at each other.

"George stop please, let's leave." I said, grabbing his hand. When David witnessed that he looked like he was getting even angrier.

"Let go of his hand!" David shouted, growling at me and pulled my hand away from George's

"Why? She can touch me if she wishes and what do you mean I am manipulating her, David? Why do you even care about it?" George asked as I looked at David. Does David really care about me? I thought to myself, I couldn't help but smile at the thought. My wolf was also happy at the pleasant feeling of our mate caring for us.

"She has received a rejection. She is a rejected mate. I am just trying to comfort her, I do not want her to become a w***e as she has no mate." George scoffed, snapping me back to reality. He had just called me a w***e because I got rejected by my mate. Was he for real?!

Most of the other she-wolves in our pack who got rejected turned into w****s for the other male pack members, but I had not expected that George would think that I would stoop to that level, now I was feeling dirty.

"YOU FUCKER! HOW DARE YOU CALL HER A w***e!!" David yelled about to punch George, but I quickly stood in between them looking at David.

"There is no need for all this, just pretend that I am invisible and that you heard nothing, like you always do." I snipped, grabbing my purse. I knew that David could feel the sheer agony I was in from George's words combined with the wounds from David's previous actions.

"Are you clear now? Victoria is from my pack and she will listen to me." George said, grabbing my hand, dragging me away from there. I did not try to stop George,just quietly followed him as he brought me out of the club.

"George, let go of my hand, you are hurting me." I pleaded, but he just tightened his grip, causing me to moan to slip past my lips as he harshly dragged me away.

"NOW YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE VICTORIA! I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER. I DOUBT DAVID'S INTENTIONS! HE ONLY REJECTED YOU IN NAME, HE DOES NOT WANT TO LET YOU GO!! I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE YOU AGAIN! JUST REJECT HIM AND COME WITH ME!!" George yelled, having stopped walking. He turned to face me and was met with my surprised expression.

"WHAT?! WHY ARE YOU STILL THINKING ABOUT HIM?!!" George shouted at me. My heartbeat was steadily growing faster, thinking about how David didn't want to let me go. My wolf was looking for David, both of us only wanted to see him. That was when I felt more pain as George grabbed me, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Don't you even dare! Don't you dare think about him again. Don't force me to make you use to my hand." George warned, grabbing my face and pinching my cheeks. I shivered when I heard him say that as I knew what he was trying to say.

"I love him...." I whispered.

"No you don't, you love me. It is only the mate bond that is making you think that you love him. You love me and only me." George commanded, leaning in closer to kiss me, but I moved out of the way so he couldn't kiss me.

"So, you are really choosing this path, right?" George asked, his voice sounded like he was warning me. "What do you mean?" I wondered.

"Let's go back to the pack and then I will show you!" George said, again starting to drag me away. We got near his car and I was fearing what George was going to do. I knew that as soon as we got back to the pack I would have to see the Alpha. I knew that he would not tolerate that I had offended his son. "Please, George....listen to me...." I stammered, but he just ignored me carrying on.

"GEORGE!!" I screamed in pain trying to free my hand from his. Suddenly George's hand was harshly shoved away from mine as he was pushed into the side of his car. I was pulled back and when George glanced back he realized that I was no longer there, but I could still see him.

"f**k!! DAVID!!" I heard George angrily shout, now understanding that David was the one who had pulled me back. David had not attacked him or it would have been an act of war between the two packs.

"What are you doing? Let me go." I urged, pulling my hand away from David, who was in a burning rage. I knew he had stopped his wolf from coming forward at the club. But I also knew that he could feel my pain, sorrow, and the most important thing that I still wanted him as my mate. I had no idea that he had followed us out of the club and saw what George was doing to me.

"LET YOU GO?! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY ASKING ME TO LET YOU GO?!!" David shouted at me, stopping and turning to face me as he clutched my face tightly.

"Yes, let me go. I need to go to him or he....." I began to say, but couldn't complete my words as David gripped my face even tighter.

"You know what he will do to you, right? You know your Alpha, right? Your Alpha will throw you in his son's room without giving it a second thought." David angrily roared. He was intently gazing into my eyes, but I already knew all of that. "Yes, I know." I replied which caused David to let go of my face that had now turned red.

"Why? Do you want to follow him?" David asked, resting his forehead against mine. I was going with George, knowing that I would not be able to come back. That I would never be able to see David ever again, this would be our goodbye.

"I have to follow him, I don't want to be a rogue. Alpha will kick me out of the pack if I do not obey his son. No matter whether I go back with him or not, I will have to obey what George has decided for me. Alpha wants a woman for his son and George has spoken to the Alpha about desiring me. Alpha also wishes for me to choose George as he knows that I have been rejected by my mate, otherwise worse is waiting for me than becoming a rogue." I explained, pulling my hand away telling David everything. David must have understood what I was telling him because he moved closer to me looking in my eyes.

"SO WHAT IF HE KICKS YOU OUT OF HIS PACK!! JOIN ANOTHER PACK!!" David shouted exasperatedly at me, knowing what the worse than being a rogue part was.

"Really? I am not as blessed as you may think. I am afraid that they will reject me when they come to know that I have been rejected by the nephew of Alpha Gabriel, at least George is willing to let me live in his pack." I replied, keeping my tone level, but it caused jealousy and hate to spike in David's eyes and heart.

"Oh....so you will not leave the pack. It seems like you are also interested in becoming his whore." David scoffed, pulling my body closer to his.

"What?" I asked in disbelief. He knows the situation is not in my hands and yet he was still talking to me like this.

"Let go of my hand." I said, pushing him away as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Why? Don't you like the truth or am I not saying enough?" David asked, breathing heavily. I was getting aggravated listening to him talk to me like this.

"I SAID LET ME GO!!" I shouted, but David pulled me back to him.

"No I will not, how many times have you been with him? Was it before or after I rejected you? How low are you willing to go to stay in that pack?" David asked. I pushed him away from me, using all my strength and slapped him across the face.

"I hate you David. I hate the moments I prayed to the Moon Goddess to be your mate. I hate myself.....for falling in love with you." I lamented, wiping away my tears as there was nothing but silence left between us.

"Don't worry, from now on I will move on with my life, just like you have. I will forget you, David." I vowed, looking at him for the last time as I walked away from him. I could feel David watching me as I vanished into the dark. I could even feel as he closed his eyes because his wolf and he were in so much pain, but wasn't this exactly what he wanted?

I was walking down the dark street close to my apartment and the only sounds to be heard were that of my sandals as I walked and my own sobs. Both my wolf and I were in complete and utter agony. I thought that it would be easy to move on, but I was wrong and now it had ended. Now I have to return to my pack and accept a relationship with George or Alpha was going to make me the newest w***e of my pack.

I had already gotten a warning from the Alpha as soon as he had heard I had been rejected, he had taken a hit to his ego due to the fact that I was rejected by an enemy pack and now he was making it hard for me to live in the pack. I only had two choices left, I could warm George's bed or I could warm the bed of every wolf in the pack. I was standing still in the dark street, looking up at the moon, thinking.

"Now it's finally time to let go of David. It is time to accept his rejection...." I muttered to myself as a fresh set of tears gathered in my eyes. I was just about to say the words when I caught David's scent, cool mint and sharp tea tree oil. The next thing I knew my body was being pushed up against the wall. I was startled, causing my eyelids to close in panic, but my body was being covered by a much larger one that had pinned me against the wall. I opened my eyes to see that it was David.

"I, David, take back my rejection and accept you, Victoria, as my mate." David whispered, my eyes widened at hearing him. I peered at his face making sure that I heard him correctly, I was shocked to see that he was aroused. David pressed his lips to mine, but I was so stunned that I didn't open my mouth and grant his tongue entry. It was like a dream, it had to be a dream or something. David pulled away from me, asking the question that I had been longing to hear from him since we found out we were mates. "Do you accept me as your mate? Do you accept that I have taken back my rejection?" David asked and I nodded, but knew I needed to say the words to make it official.

"I, Victoria, accept you as my mate...." I replied as he crashed his lips onto mine. His hands wandered down to my body and began to lift my dress up as his fingers made their way between my thighs. He inserted his finger inside me, causing me to moan in both pain and pleasure, I opened my mouth for him, giving him entry. David quickly added two more fingers, thrusting deeper and faster inside of me, as his wolf had already made me aroused and his fingers were wet within seconds.

David lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his hips as I felt his thick hard member pressing against me. He started slamming it inside of me, revealing his hunger and desire for me. David grabbed my hands, pinning them above my head with one of his, while still holding me up against the wall with the other. I could not believe that I was giving and my mate was taking my virginity in the dark street near my apartment.

I could feel a pressure building up in me and he must have felt the same because suddenly I felt a pain in my neck and realised that David was marking me. My canines elongated as I sank them into his neck, marking him as mine as well. Tears came out of my eyes as everything still felt like it was a dream come true. Yes, this had to be a dream. After all, why was he doing this when he didn't love me? Losing my virginity felt real, the pain felt real, his mark felt real....

I felt myself falling into the hands of darkness, but before that I heard something being whispered to me.

"Mine...." David claimed me. I felt like my body was being lifted into the air, like I was in someone's arms and in just a few seconds my body made contact with my soft bed.
