Just One of the Guys -
Thirty Seven
Knox
*What the hell is happening to me?*
*I just made out with fucking Corbin and got fucking turned on by it.*
*I rubbed my dick against his.*
Running into my bathroom, I turn on the faucet, splashing water on my face. When I look back in the mirror, I hardly recognize the man looking back at me.
Yes, I know it's me. It's my hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, all of that, but I just made out with a fucking guy, and he kissed me back, and I'm still bloody hard as a rock. My damn dick won't go down.
*What in the bloody hell is wrong with me?*
"Go down, you fucker!" I yell at it. "I don't want you to be hard, that's bloody sick."
Even with how disgusted I am with myself at getting turned on by Corbin, that doesn't end up stopping me from grabbing hold of my cock and sliding my hand up and down the hardened length, imagining it's another set of hands that aren't mine.
Averi's lips are wrapped around my head, taking my entire cock down her throat, while I fuck the shit out of her mouth.
Closing my eyes, I get lost in my imagination. Picturing Averi the last time we were together, and she sucked my cock, taking all of me.
Averi's fingering that sweet cunt of hers, her tits bouncing with the movement of her head going up and down my shaft. A flash of Corbin from just a few minutes ago flies into my mind, erasing Averi. *Bloody hell!*
*How did I not realize before how much Averi and Corbin look alike?*
*Does Averi have a twin?*
*Does Corbin?*
*Is that what's going on here? My mental images are mixing together to make some kind of compilation of the two of them.*
As my balls tighten and my spine tingles at the precipice of orgasm, I brush my thoughts away, remember how amazing Averi looked with my cock down her throat, and how incredible she felt as I fucked the shit out of her. "Come, baby, take my cock!" I growl. "That's it. Fuck yeah! Take my cum, you know you want it..."
I groan, cuming so damn hard that I get lightheaded and have to brace myself against the counter so that I don't fall over.
But still yet, even after coming harder than I ever have in my damn life, I'm still horny as hell.
I need Averi's cunt wrapped around my cock as I sink my length into her.
**Knox: Averi, I need you. Please call me.**
I feel like such a pansy, pining after a girl who says she can't be with me.
*Time*, she says.
But fuck...my head is screwing with me. That's got to be why I'm seeing Averi when I look at Corbin. That's got to be why he popped into my head just now as I was pumping my cock. Turning the shower on and leaving it on cold, I step in, needing to cool off and lose the boner. But it doesn't appear to be going anywhere.
Jumping out of the shower, I throw on a pair of shorts and a shirt, and head toward the weight room that's a few buildings down.
*Bloody hell, what is wrong with me?*
I go over it, repeatedly, all the while punishing myself for my fucked-up thoughts as I continue pushing myself further and further, stacking more weight on than I should probably try to lift while being alone, but shit, I need something to occupy my mind. Something that's not Averi and Corbin morphing into one another, or replaying what just happened in Corbin's room, or why he kissed me back, or obsessing over why I got fucking turned on by it.
I've just finished up a set and have moved over to the treadmill to cool down when I hear the door open and close, Colt sauntering into the room a few moments later.
Nodding my head towards him in greeting, I step on the machine, setting it to a fast clip, and run, trying to clear my mind of everything and lose myself in the music blasting through my headphones and the pounding of my feet against the belt as it circulates through the machine.
After running for about half an hour, Colt is lying on the weight bench, fixing to lift the bar stacked with weights, so I walk over to him, spotting him. "Thanks, man," he says, lifting the bar up and then lowering it to just above his chest, before lifting it back up.
"One," I say, counting his reps until he gets to fifteen and then he places it back on the rack.
"You alright man?" Colt asks, glancing up at me with a worried gaze.
"Yeah, just feel like everything is so screwed up right now, ya know?"
"I hear ya, still haven't heard anything out of Averi?" he asks, knowing what I'm talking about without me having to say it.
"No. And I don't bloody understand what the hell is going on, and I feel like a damn bitch because this is bothering me so bloody much."
"Has she answered any of your texts? At all?" he asks, sitting up on the bench, swiping a white towel from the floor and wiping the sweat from his face.
I shake my head. "The last thing she said to me was she needs time but to trust her."
I let out a frustrated groan, fisting my hair in both hands before wiping them down my face. "I don't bloody understand."
"Maybe...I don't know, man. I could sit here and bullshit you, but it won't do you any good," he says, standing up and nodding towards the doors. "You good?"
"Yeah, I should probably grab some food," I say as we head out of the gym, the cool air causing goosebumps to pepper my skin as it reacts with the sweat from my workout.
We finally make it back to the dorms, and Colt rushes into the warmth of the corridor, throwing glances at me every so often as we head to our apartment.
Stopping at the door, hand on the knob but not turning it, he speaks up, "I've never seen you like this about a chick before...."
I let out a chuckle, but it's not funny.
"Wouldn't you know the first one that does something to me can't even bloody stick around long enough to see if there's something there."
"But you feel like there is?" he asks, heading towards his room to shower before we head down to get a bite to eat.
"Yeah... I can't explain it, but yeah."
"Then don't give up, keep fighting for her. There's obviously a reason she's pulled away. You said you trusted her, so trust her."
With his final words and a shrug of his shoulders, he steps into his room, shutting the door behind him.
A few moments later, I hear the shower come on.
"I'll take a burger and fries, please," I say, stepping up to the counter and pulling out a wad of cash, tossing a ten on the counter. "Oh, and a soda too."
The girl manning the register just stands there staring at me for an awkwardly long time before Colt pipes up from behind me, "You need to go butcher the cow first, sweetheart?" "Sorry," she mutters as her cheeks flush from embarrassment. "Here's your change."
"Thanks." I take the cash and shove it in my pocket and slide out of the way for Colt to order his food.
Once our orders come up, we walk over to our usual table to replace that Corbin and Gentry are there.
Guess he must be feeling better.
Corbin's got his physics book out, looks like Gentry is trying to explain energy conservation to him, but he looks like he is so lost that he will never replace his way back.
Corbin spots us and closes his book with a heavy sigh.
"Forget it. Thanks for trying but this is hopeless," he grumbles to Gentry before turning his attention to the rest of the table as he stuffs the book in his book bag, but refuses to look at me.
"Hey..."
He's such an awkward little dude, but it's never bothered me before, but now I'm not sure what to think. He and Gentry hit it off right off the bat. He was pretty quiet and reserved at first, but he's slowly coming around.
"Feeling better?" I ask, popping a fry in my mouth.
"Yeah, just really sore. Regardless of how I feel I still have work to get done," he says stealing a fry off my plate.
A growl leaves me before I can stop myself causing the whole table to bust up laughing and Corbin to freeze just before he takes a bite.
"Did you just take one of my bloody fries?" I growl, clearly not in the best of moods today.
"Sorry..." he murmurs as he places the fry back on my plate and glances around at everyone else, unsure of what to do.
The table goes completely silent as I glare at him. Typically, I wouldn't care if he ate some of my fries, the guys do it all the time, but today, I'm in a shitty enough mood that it just pissed me off, he didn't even ask. Just took it like it was his. "I-I... better go..." he stammers as he grabs his bag and beelines it for the exit as the whole table erupts in laughter.
He glances back and I swear he looks like he's going to cry.
"Fuck!" I curse, slamming my fist down next to my plate.
"You alright, man?" Gentry asks, scooting a little further away as though he's afraid I'll take my pissy mood out on him next.
"Yeah, just not in a good mood," I reply.
"Apparently," someone mutters under their breath as my phone pings with an incoming text, distracting me from seeing who it was.
Hope wells inside of me that it may be Averi as I pull my cell from my pocket, but that hope is dashed when I see that it's a text from my mum instead.
**Mum: How are you doing, baby? Your dad and I miss you terribly and can't wait for you to come home for the break.**
I just stuff the damn thing back in my pocket, definitely not in the mood to deal with her right now.
Don't get me wrong, I love my mum, but sometimes, she can be a bit much.
The bloody thing vibrates several more times as I ignore it and eat my burger and fries that, for some reason, suddenly tastes like cardboard.
My thoughts go back to the look on Corbin's face and the hurt that was staring back at me as he left the cafeteria. He's been through a lot over the last several weeks, though, and I know I shouldn't have snapped at him.
He's away from his family, gets the shit beat out of him, and gets behind in his classes from his hospital stay and while recovering. I can't say that I wouldn't be a bit overwhelmed if it were me.
My mind is spinning in circles, trying to make all the things that don't make sense, make sense and it's not working. I just ignore everything going on around me, and quickly finish up my food, then take it to the trash bin.
"I owe him an apology," I say, giving the guys a nod, and then head toward the dorms. As I come up to Corbin's door, I replace myself knocking on it, but no one answers.
"Corbin," I say, because I swear, I hear what sounds like someone inside. Checking the handle, I replace it's unlocked, and turning the knob, I push the door open.
