Chapter 18

THEODORE'S POV:

I went to the bedroom, where I saw Natalie sitting on the bed. "Are you going to hold me a captivein this mansion?". She asked furiously and I was astounded by this tone of hers.

"I am not that beautiful Theodore, so please stop staring at me and answer my questions”, Shebarked at me and I lost my temper.

"Mind your tone, yes you are my mate, and I love you madly, but I am an Alpha too and I am notgoing to tolerate disrespect. Do you get that?", I told angrily. My eyes had turned black as my wolfwas empowering me.

She looked at me with fear in her eyes. I bolted the door and held her gently, taking her towards thebed. I took a deep breath, to calm myself down.

"What's the matter? Is everything fine?" I asked calmly.

"Why have you held me captive? Can't I step out of this mansion?", Natalie questioned me.

"I have not held you as a captive, Natalie. I am doing this for your safety, do you get it?", I toldangrily. She looked at me innocently, and my anger faded looking at her.

"Why do you want to go out?”, I asked softly.

"I saw Abr----", She was about to say but stopped in between.

"Whom did you see?" I asked.

"No---No one", She replied smiling faintly. I looked right into her eyes, but she turned her faceaway. She was definitely hiding something from me.

"Theodore I want to know about werewolves.”, She told cutely. I know she was trying to change thetopic.

"What do you want to know?", I asked laying down on the bed pulling her beside me. She restedher head on my chest and replied, "Everything"

I wrapped my arms around her and started telling her about werewolves. Suddenly I felt wetness onmy shirt, I looked at Natalie and saw her weeping.

"Natalie, baby are you okay?", I asked worriedly. She just hugged me tightly and started crying. Ihugged her back and tried to calm her down. She kept on crying and within an hour she fell asleepin my arms. I kissed her forehead and placed her head on the pillow carefully. I covered her properlywith a blanket and left the room shutting the door behind.

I went downstairs to the living room, where my brother Zen and my friends were seated.

"That man is looking like Theodore, isn't he?", Steven asked Zen, pointing towards me.

"Yes, Brother Steven, he resembles Brother Theodore, a lot", Zen replied.

I really felt like punching them on their faces.

"Steven, Zen, he is Theodore himself", Anne told. I went towards them and sat on the sofa with mylegs up on the table.

"Theodore are you done?", Steven asked, covering his face with his palms and blushing.

"Steven, can you please stop acting like a girl? And no, I didn't do anything with Natalie", I toldangrily.

"What, why? Steven bro, we won't be uncles now", Zen whined dramatically.

"Shut up Zen, can't you both be serious ever?” I asked irritably.

"Theodore, is everything fine?", Daniel asked worriedly.

"No Daniel, nothing is fine. Something is fishy, something is wrong with Natalie?", I told rubbing mytemples.

"What is wrong with her?”, Steven asked in a serious tone.

"She is hiding something from me, which I have to replace out”, I replied.

"But what is she hiding from you, Theodore?" Cassandra inquired

"I don't know Cassandra. Remember the Omega came and informed me that Natalie was impatientto meet me. I went to the bedroom, where she started questioning me why have I held her as acaptive", I told.

"Didn't you tell her Theodore that you are doing this for her good?", Kylie asked.

"Yes, Kylie I told her, I even asked why does she want to go out of the house. She was about to saythat she saw someone but I don't know why but she stopped in between, she didn't complete herstatement. She was distressed too" I replied.

"Theodore Bro, you should have insisted her to tell you what's troubling her”, Zen said.

"I did insist on her, but she changed the topic," I replied.

"Theodore, why don't you mark her, by biting on her neck. You will then be able to listen to all herthoughts”, Daniel advised.

"Daniel, I don't want to force her, in any way", I replied.

Suddenly a warrior, Aaron came running.

"Alpha, Alpha, we have found a scent of a wolf of Red Blood Pack, in our mansion®, Informed Aaron"Didn't you trace that scent?”, Gamma Daniel asked.

"Yes, Gamma I tried to trace that scent, but----"

"But what?", Beta Steven asked.

"Beta that scent disappeared near Alpha’s room", Aaron told and I was horrified by listening to himHow can this be possible? How did a wolf of Red Blood Pack enter our territory and how could hisscent be present in my room? I was confused.

"Guys, Natalie, she is in the room", I told worriedly and ran towards my bedroom while my friendsfollowed me.

I pushed open the door and found the room vacant.

"Natalie---Natalie", I called her out.

"Theodore check in the bathroom", Steven said and I ran towards the bathroom but she wasn'tthere too.

"Damn it---where might she be?" muttered in frustration.

I saw Steven sniffing.

"What's the matter Steven”, I asked.

"Theodore, can't you smell something?", Steven questioned me.

There was some smell in the room. I sniffed to recognize what smell was it.

"It is a smell of a women's deodorant", I stated.

"Theodore it's the smell of the deodorant which I had given to Natalie", Cassandra replied.

"Bro, what's going on? I am not able to understand anything", Zen told.

"Wait, Zen, I guess I know what's the matter” I replied angrily.

"Then please explain to us, Theodore", Kylie told.

I started searching for the bottle of deodorant and found it under the bed. It was empty. Myassumption was right.

I gave the empty bottle to Aaron and ordered him, "Trace the scent of this deodorant”

"Yes Alpha", Aaron replied taking the deodorant bottle from my hand and left from the room."Theodore, what's the matter?”, Anna asked me.

"Natalie has helped that wolf to escape from here", I told clenching my fist angrily.

"What are you saying, Theodore? Why will she do so?", Kylie asked.

"And even if she did so, why did she escape from us?", Zen asked.

"I think that the wolf knows Natalie and Natalie also knows him. The werewolf might have said toNatalie that we would be able to trace them from his scent. So my not so smart mate used thisridiculous idea of spraying the entire deodorant bottle on that wolf so that we would not be able totrace the wolf from his scent. But my innocent baby doesn't know that we would tail them with thesmell of the deodorant”, I told clenching my fist angrily.

"Theodore, your mate is intelligent and stupid at the same time", Steven said.

"I know that, Steven. She needs to be punished for what she did!" I replied angrily.

"Theodore but the mystery is how does Natalie know a wolf from The Red Blood Pack? And who isthat wolf?", Kylie inquired.

"Natalie would be in a better position to answer this", I replied transforming into my wolf form andjumped from the window and started following their scent.
