Chapter 36

NATALIE'S POV:

It was evening now, and I was getting restless with every passing second. There was no messagefrom Theodore, nor Alpha Boris. I was just getting negative vibes. I wanted to see Theodore, safe,and sound in front of my eyes. I wanted to hug him tightly. I promised myself, that I would alwayslisten to him and I would never disobey him. All I just wanted, my mate to be saved.

Suddenly an Omega came to the room. She bowed her head and told, "Luna Natalie, Beta Steven,Gamma Daniel, and Alpha Theodore's brother Zen has come to take you back to the pack”

I was overjoyed. My Theodore was safe and sound, I thought. But I was proven wrong.

When I ran to the living room, I saw Beta Steven, Gamma Daniel, and Zen were injured badly. Therewas a sadness on their faces and Theodore was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is Theodore?" I asked. They looked at me with tears in their eyes.

"I am asking something, where the hell Theodore is?" I asked angrily.

"Luna Natalie..we think Theodore is dead,” Beta Steven replied sobbing.

"What? Are you even in your senses Beta Steven, what are you saying?" I asked angrily.

"Luna Natalie, Beta Steven is telling the truth. When we were fighting with the warriors of the RedBlood Pack, Alpha Carl and his brother Abram fled from there. Theodore followed them,” GammaDaniel said.

I interrupted him in between and questioned them, "How could you let him go alone. He is yourAlpha and it is your duty to protect him!"

"Luna Natalie, we told him that we will accompany him, but he refused and said that he is an Alphaand he can take care of himself. He told that we were needed in the battlefield, to fight against thewarriors of Red Blood Pack," Beta Steven replied.

"Have we won the battle?" I asked with tears in my eyes.

"Yes Luna, and we went to the forest to search for Theodore but he was nowhere to be found,"Replied Zen.

"So how can you say that he is dead? You did not replace his dead body, did you?" I asked and theyreplied a no.

"That means that my mate is alive. Maybe it might be possible that the evil brothers have justkidnapped Theodore?" I told.

"But Luna Natalie, we have searched for Theodore everywhere he is nowhere to be found,” Theytold.

"I know Theodore is alive and I will do everything to get my mate my back," I replied.

I returned back to the pack with, Beta Steven, Gamma Daniel, and Zen. I went to our pack and I sawall the members were in grief. Few members were discussing that Alpha Theodore was dead. Myheart was not ready to accept it, I knew Theodore was alive.

I was about to go to my room where I saw Alpha Boris and Kylie were hugging each other. Kylie wascrying.

"Kylie, is everything okay?" I asked.

"Natalie... Theodore," she told sobbing.

"Nothing has happened to him, why are you all saying that he is dead. I know my Theodore is alive,"I yelled.

Beta Steven, his mate Anna, Gamma Daniel, his mate Cassandra, Zen, they all came hurriedlylistening to my voice.

"Beta Steven, I want to talk to all the members of the pack. Call an urgent meeting,” I ordered andwent to my room.

I locked the door of my room and cried.

"Theodore, I am so sorry. Please come back, I love you so much, Theodore. I am such a stupidhuman mate of yours," I cried.

There was a knock at the door. I wiped off my tears and opened the door and found Beta Steven."Luna Natalie, I have informed all the pack members and they are waiting for you, "Beta Steveninformed.

"Alright, I will be there in ten minutes,” I replied.

"Okay, Luna,” Beta Steven replied bowing his head and left from the room.

I locked the room and went to the bathroom to take a shower. I wore a fresh pair of clothes,combed my hair in a ponytail, and went downstairs to the living room.

The entire living room was filled with people, I mean werewolves- men, women, old wolfs, and pups.When they saw me, there was absolute silence in the room and they all bowed their head.

I did not know how to address my pack as a Luna. I was afraid but I composed myself.

I could hear people whispering to each other, that Alpha Theodore was dead, now the Red BloodPack will make the Blue Moon Pack their slave.

"No, the Blue Moon Pack will not be the slave of the Red Blood Pack, and my mate, your Alpha,Theodore is not dead. I know he is alive,” I told.

"If he is alive Luna, then where he is?" one of the women asked.

"Will the Red Blood Pack kill us, Luna Natalie?" a small girl asked.

"Who will save our pack?" one of the men asked.

"I Luna Natalie, the mate of Alpha Theodore, will protect the pack. I won't let any member of thepack get harmed until I am alive. And I promise Alpha Theodore will be back soon,” I told and wentto my room.

"I sat on the bed with tears in my eyes. Though I said I'll protect the pack, how will I do that? I am ahuman. I am not even trained. How will I save my mate?" I thought.

Suddenly, Kylie, Anna, and Cassandra came to my room. They noticed tears welled up in my eyes."Natalie, what happened sweetheart?" Kylie asked.

"Kylie, though I have said that I will protect the pack, but, how will I do that? I am not a werewolf, Iam just a human,” I replied sobbing.

" Natalie, you need not worry, we will train you,” Cassandra said.

"Yes Luna, I being the Gamma of the pack will take care of the pack's protection along with you,”Gamma Daniel replied.

"And I being the Beta of the pack, will train you,” Beta Steven said.

"I being, Alpha Theodore's brother will help you and support you, in all the decisions you take," Zensaid.

"We will get Theodore back," Boris said

"Thank you, guys,” I replied with tears in my eyes. Now I was determined, to get my mate back.

I, Luna Natalie, will kill Carl and Abram. I will take revenge, for my parents’ death, my adoptiveparent's death. I will punish them for hurting my mate and for destroying his pack. I promisedmyself, to give the evil brothers a painful death.
