Chapter 17 Drink

Anastasia chuckled. Beatrice knew her identity yet dared to meet her.

Kevin added, "There is a dinner tonight. The show crew will have dinner with these five newcomers. Do you want to show up?"

In her identity, she didn't have to participate.

Anastasia smiled and said calmly,

"Yes..."

The dinner was arranged at the private Fantasy Club in Amarilla City, a place for over-the-top lavishness.

Anastasia and Kevin went in one after the other.

Kevin held the bag for her while Anastasia looked down at the phone.

Unexpectedly, a group of young men were walking towards them.

"Anna?"

Anastasia was taken aback. These people were Christian's friends.

She frowned slightly. Didn't they know about the divorce?

One of them was Tobias Olsen, approaching with a smile,

"Anna, are you here specifically to look for Christian? He's in the box, and he is nearly drunk..."

Anastasia paused and smiled,

"I have divorced him. Just call me my name in the future."

Tobias and the others froze in place.

They saw Anastasia and Kevin chat and leave.

Tobias asked the waiter the number of the box she went to and then went back with everyone.

Christian sat in the box and drank wine, but he was not drunk.

His whole body was immersed in the shadow of the dark place, blending with the darkness.

Tobias pushed the door open and sat down in front of him.

"Are you divorced? I met Anastasia talking and laughing with a man, and they entered a box. She refused me to call her Anna."

"It's not worth it, Christian. You know about Beatrice who took the money and left. Anastasia's looks and ability are completely worthy of you except for her background!"

Everyone felt it was worthless for Christian to choose Beatrice and divorce Anastasia.

Christian sat silently, and the wine glass he was holding was almost crushed.

Terence Newton, who was sitting at the door, had completely different thoughts.

"What's wrong with Beatrice? In the beginning, it was Mrs. Lamia Patterson who separated them. If Beatrice didn't leave, she would replace other ways to hurt her!

"On the contrary, Anastasia forced the marriage with an impure purpose. This marriage was nothing more than a transaction. Now that he is divorced, we should be happy for him!" Everyone was silent for a while.

But they heard the sound of glass shattering in front of Christian.

He put the cup heavily on the table, and the cup shattered.

The atmosphere was silent for a moment.

He stood up silently and walked out, reeking of alcohol.

Tobias followed immediately and whispered to him.

Christian turned a corner. Instead of going to Anastasia's box, he ordered another quiet box to rest.

There was an indescribable emotion in his heart which made him restless.

Then his phone received a message.

It was from Beatrice.

[Help me! Room 8808 of the Fantasy Club.]

Christian was startled and stood up abruptly.

8808 was Anastasia's room number that Tobias mentioned just now.

Hearing hysterical crying from inside, Christian kicked the door hard and went in.

Seeing the scene inside, he was taken aback for a moment, and Beatrice rushed over, crying in fear.

Eight or nine people were sitting in the box except Anastasia.

He was slightly relieved.

The atmosphere in the room was a little stagnant.

Someone recognized Christian and said in shock,

"Mr. Patterson? Why are you here?"

Christian patted Beatrice on the shoulder.

"What happened?"

Before Beatrice could speak, a cold female voice came from behind.

"What's wrong?"

Anastasia greeted the program team when she came before going out to answer the phone.

Looking at the scene in front of her, she glanced coldly at Christian.

Beatrice sobbed and said,

"Ms. Graves... asked me to drink with them!"

After she finished speaking, she cried even harder as if she was insulted.
