The Events of the day were one of the worst things that had ever happened to me and for it the first time ever I wished that I never really got to work today.

I had sent all the information Jayden needed to him through mail because according to him, he doesn't want to see my face.

I knew that I shouldn't be doing this but I wanted so much to speak to him.

I had never seen him this cold and in my three years of knowing Jayden, he had always been that sweet baby that I loved so much, I really wondered what made him change that quickly even without thinking about me. The loud banging on the door brought out my deep thoughts.

I raised my head to look at who had Disturbed my thoughts and when I saw who it was, I couldn't help but curse within me.

The familiar red lipstick and the short sexy gown she wore told me who it was, I didn't need to look at her face, I knew it was no other, just that ugly looking secretary Kim.

Kim had been Jayden's secretary since he Started working on this company and she had a very heavy crush on him, one that I would say could lead to death.

The girl had done literally everything in her power to make sure that Jayden noticed her, but never for once did he throw one glance at her.

The moment the call ended I felt like I had just been let out of a cage because the next moment I let out a sigh of relief.

I couldn't hide the blush I had on my face, the thought that I was gonna go out with my favorite tv character made me want to know how my life had turned out in just a couple of seconds.

I turned and the hard glare I got from someone made me come back to my right senses and for a moment, I wondered what had happened and how Jayden got into my office and was staring at me so hardly "Do you know how long I have been here? waiting for you to get off that call before I can say a word "

I thought about what I was going to tell her, I just couldn't wait to tell her everything that has happened today at work. I knew I could do that, that's just going to give her more reason to hate him and I don't want that. I picked up my bag and with that I Walked out of the office.

Looking at my wristwatch, it was just 7pm. I knew that I could still get prepared for my date, there was nothing on this earth that was making me leave that date, it's never going to Happen.

The company was dead and calm and the only person around the security.

Jayden left two hours ago and that was when work for today ended, but because of what he did to me, I couldn't leave like the others, I had to stay behind and get those.

If I wasn't doing it for anything, then I am doing all of this for my kids.

I just can't bear to see them go through any difficulty.

I wondered why the security man asked me that question. This was literally the first time he was asking me that and it really felt kind of weird.

"Taxi"I yelled as I flagged down a cab the moment I got out of the gate of the company.

The cab stopped and gave him my house address.

I couldn't help but feel guilty, these kids had been all alone and lonely.

I watched my three kids sitting in the living room and watching TV.

looking around I couldn't replace any trace of Lena anywhere..

"Where is your aunt ?" I asked, making sure I wasn't just seeing things.

The thought that my kids had been at home all alone since 2pm sent fear to my body.

I let out a heavy breath the moment he left, I knew this was just the beginning.
