My Bossy CEO Husband -
Chapter 81
Giselle’s heart raced.
She stared at Maggie and wondered what she did in this matter.
To protect herself, Giselle had no choice but to put the blame on Maggie.
“Rosalynn, the only person with access to your final design draft for the project must be someone close to you.
”
As Giselle finished speaking, everyone’s gaze fell upon Maggie.
Everyone in the company knew that Rosalynn had appointed Maggie as her assistant for the project.
“Maggie, was it you? Rosalynn has been so kind to you.
How could you steal her design draft?” Mary said scornfully.
“I heard her boyfriend plans to start a business.
She’s been working multiple jobs to support him financially.
She must’ve stolen Rosalynn’s design to sell it.
”
“Her lack of morals is too obvious.
She must face severe consequences.
”
Maggie’s face flushed as she absorbed the accusations.
She stood up and confronted Giselle.
“Yes, I leaked the design draft, but it was Giselle who instructed me to do so.

Giselle had anticipated Maggie’s claim.
She scoffed, “Don’t fabricate stories, Maggie Shear!
Do you have any proof? You’ve overstepped your bounds.
Now that you’ve been caught, you want to drag me down with you, right?”
“No.
You’re jealous of Rosalynn and fear she’ll snatch your position as director, so you promised me incentives.
You asked me to steal the design draft in hopes Mr.
Hughes would lose faith in Rosalyn.
”
“Maggie, quit spouting nonsense!” Giselle glared at her.
“I’m not spouting nonsense.
Everyone will know the truth after hearing this.
”
Maggie activated her phone and played a recording.
“Giselle, I’ve done as you requested.
Here’s the final design draft.
”
“Good job.
Take this card.
It contains one hundred thousand.
I’ll arrange for you to become a permanent employee once this is over.
”
The recording captured the conversation between Giselle and Maggie.
Giselle’s eyes widened, and her face paled.
“Maggie, how could you record that? It wasn’t like that.
You approached me first.
You claimed you were short on money…”
