My Flirtacious Husband (Genevieve and Armand)
Chapter 464 Is Your Daddy Handsome

Armand texted back: Call the front desk.

After a few minutes, another text came from Genevieve: Come on. It's not something difficult. I don't think calling the front desk is the best. Don't tell me you're afraid of me. You can't do this to me after I sprained my ankle to save you today.

Over in Genevieve's room, she was reclined in bed with her injured leg sticking out. She had just sprayed her ankle and was looking at her phone.

Seeing that Armand did not reply after some time, she pouted and sent the pictures she took on the old street that morning to Lucian with a message that read: Look, is your daddy handsome?

A reply came instantly. The boy was usually camera-shy and lofty, but when he saw that photo Genevieve sent, he immediately gave her a call.

"So he's the person who broke the record?" Lucian's voice came from the phone.

"What record?" Genevieve was confused.

"The game record," he replied begrudgingly. "I tried that game a lot of times, but the fastest I could finish it was in thirteen seconds. How did he even do it in ten?"

"Oh, so you're playing this game too?" Genevieve asked, surprised. "Well, he's your daddy. What do you expect?"

"But I invented the game. Even I can't finish it in ten seconds!" Lucian sounded even more upset.

"You created that game? How did you even know how to program a game?" Genevieve was in for another surprise.

"It was easy as a pie. Everybody knows how to do it," the boy replied confidently.

"Yeah, tell me about it. It's so easy even the game creator can't finish his own game fast enough. You need to work harder to break your daddy's record, Son," Genevieve said snarkily. A short pause followed. "I want to call him."

"No." Genevieve did not want them to talk to each other too much. After all, given Armand's keenness, he might notice something. "Have you forgotten what I told you when I left?" "Then when can we go back?" Lucian asked.

Genevieve thought about the uncertain situation and sighed. "Not anytime soon. I'll call you when I can pick you guys up."

While she was speaking, Genevieve heard Amanda's voice in the background.

It seemed that the girl had realized that her brother was talking to Genevieve. She wanted to be part of the conversation as well, but the call ended abruptly. Genevieve looked at her phone and shook her head. She wondered if the children in other families were the same because, in hers, Lucian loved to bully Amanda.

Genevieve looked at her phone. There was still no reply from Armand.

Just as she was about to text him again, the doorbell rang.

Genevieve thought about the food she had just ordered, so she hopped over to the door to collect it.

When she opened the door, Armand was standing there with the food in his hand.

Resting against the door, Genevieve smiled at him. "I thought you weren't coming because you were scared, Mr. Faulkner."

The man glanced at her from the head to the toe. "What do you need?"

Genevieve opened the door wide for him to enter.

After that, she closed the door and skipped over to the table before she sat on a chair. "It's dangerous for me to move around like this in the bathroom. Could you help me wash my hair?" Armand was annoyed. "You can just bring a chair into the bathroom."

"Yeah, but this is a leather chair, and it's heavy," she replied, pointing at the bulky chair she was sitting on while she opened up the packaging of her food.

The smell of barbecue wafted in the air, making her feel extremely hungry.

She glanced at him as she started eating. "Could you wait until I finish eating? It won't be nice if it's cold."

Armand was left speechless.

The food she ordered was from a famous shop on the food delivery app. Genevieve thought it was indeed delicious, so she offered Armand some, but the latter was not bothered. After she was done eating, Genevieve cleaned her mouth and asked him to help her with her hair.

Because there were no grab bars in the bathroom, Genevieve had no choice but to hold on to the bathtub with her head lowered so Armand could use the shower-head to wash her hair from above.

His face did not betray the slightest emotion throughout the whole process. Although he seemed detached, his actions were gentle when he rubbed and cleaned her hair.

After he shampooed her hair, he put on a hair mask and left it for a few minutes before washing it off and taking a dry towel to dry it.

When he was halfway drying Genevieve's hair, she said in a child-like voice, "Hey, my legs are sore. I think I've been standing for too long."
