My Mate Is An Omega
My Mate Is A Virgin Chapter 19

Andromeda

POV

The spoiled princess inside of me was still annoyed at how long it took my mate to give me what I wanted, but he sure made it worth the wait.

After we mated for the first time, we kept going until the sun came up. Honestly, as the hours went by, I confess I caught myself thinking I should have been more careful about what I wished for. His heat never seemed to go away, and it usually took him less than two minutes to be ready for another round again, which allowed me no time to rest. His insatiable hunger started taking a toll on my body. I was tired and sore. However, his creativity kept me wanting more.

The bed. The shower. The kitchen sink. The dresser. Even the floor. He made sure to take me in every existing position - and probably some new ones he came up with - until the entire suite had been enveloped in the strong smell of s*x. A part of me felt sorry that he had been forced by his biological needs to mate with me, but another part was excited to see his shyness be replaced by a lustful, skilled side of him I had only seen once, a few minutes after we met. It was nice to witness him come out of his shell, and it was even nicer to let him worship my body in ways I didn't know were possible.

He was clearly feeling a lot better by the time he should start working, but since his heat hadn't completely gone away yet, he decided it would be best for him to skip work. While he linked his Alpha to explain what was going on, I realized it would be fair to let Wade know I wouldn't be able to make it to our morning meeting. My King needed me, and after waiting for him for so f*****g long, I would die before I refused another round of s*x.

It was around 10 am when Jasper finally decided to give me a break. He ordered room service before preparing a much needed warm bath for us. We stayed there, enjoying our peace and quiet while some Omegas came in to set the table and change the wet sheets. After having s*x for seven hours straight, it sure felt good to sit in the bathtub, resting my back against my mate's chest while he gave me a shoulder massage.

"Did I tire you, my Queen?" he whispered close to my ear as his fingers worked their magic.

"I'm afraid that's impossible, my King," I replied with a smirk, my eyes still closed as I relaxed.

He suddenly stopped his massage to let his fingers trace the mark he had recently placed on the back of my neck. A gasp of surprise and pleasure left my parted lips as his touch caused goosebumps to pop all over my skin. Through our newly-established bond, I could feel his hesitation. I immediately knew what was bothering him.

"I can put off telling my mother, you know," I uttered in hopes of tranquilizing him. "She won't know unless I want her to."

He sighed, slowly moving his hands down to wrap his arms around my waist. "It's okay. I know how badly you want to be Queen. I won't make you wait any longer."

"Are you sure?" I turned my head to stare into his eyes, but he looked away after a few seconds.

"There's a lot I still have to learn about your world, and I'm not sure I'm ready to be...King," he confessed before letting his eyes meet mine again. The pull between us was much stronger now, and as he brought his hand up to caress my cheek, I struggled not to kiss him. "But I know you'll teach me well." His sincere smile almost made me melt.

"I'll be with you every step of the way," I reassured him before leaning closer to his lips, my tongue eagerly pushing them open to invade his mouth. I could never get enough of his exotic taste.

Only when he winced did I pull away. "I think it's coming back again," he grunted, a hint of pain in his voice.

"Are you eager to have me again, my King?" I fully turned around, placing my knees beside each of his legs to sit on his lap. His grip around my waist tightened when my crotch pressed against his erection.

"You truly are insatiable, aren't you?" He chuckled, brushing my mouth with his before sucking on my lower lip. "I can now see why the Goddesses paired me with you."

"So I can put you in your place?" I teased, making him laugh.

"That too."

Jasper POV

After another incredible round of s*x, we stepped out of the tub to dry ourselves and put some clothes on for the first time in the last seven hours. As amazing as it was to take Andromeda over and over again, I had to admit the heat was sucking away my very last drop of stamina. My whole body was aching, both from the never-ending burning sensation and the effort of mating nonstop, and I was exhausted. How the hell did females manage to go through this every single year?

Thankfully, breakfast helped me regain some of my energy. I don't think I had ever eaten so much before; I was truly starving. Once our stomachs were full, I sat beside my mate as she made the call that would change my entire life. Queen Nymeia was thrilled about the news well, as thrilled as a rock can be - and said she expected us to come to Snow Pelt by nightfall. A little sooner than I would have liked, but I knew I had already postponed it for too long.

We discussed everything I would have to do before leaving, and she briefed me on the basics of what I should expect of her clan before we laid together in bed. As the pain struck again, she put out my fire one last time before I passed out from exhaustion. When I woke up with her in my arms three hours later, the heat seemed to have finally died down. A she-wolf's heat could last as long as seven days, but it usually didn't last longer than a day for males. Thank the Goddess.

Since it was past lunchtime, we decided to have our second meal of the day in our room again before we stepped outside for the first time. I headed with her to the Alpha's office to meet my friends. They all congratulated us, and though I could tell they were happy for me, I also didn't miss the hint of gloom in their expressions. Were they really sad to see me go?

"Of course, they are," Phoenix chimed in, surprising me. For the past few hours, he had only made incoherent, animalistic noises. "Have you forgotten what a pack is?"

"We're family," I quickly replied.

"Exactly. You grew up together, Jasper. Even if you spent a good portion of your life thinking nobody cared about you, they did," he observed. I now knew it was true. "They will miss you like hell. You should know; you feel the same way after all."

He was right. The thought of leaving behind the only home I've ever known scared me. Even if I didn't always feel valued here, Diamond Tempest was my pack. I had grown up running around in these lands. I had risked my life to protect it. I had spent countless nights developing strategies to ensure its members' safety.

More than that, I was sad to leave my friends behind. I would miss teasing Lance, drinking with Megan, training with Luke, talking to Cait. I would miss our Spring Tournaments, and just hanging around with them. After everything we had been through together, especially in the last year, it was hard to imagine my life without them.

But all it took was one look from my mate, and my insecurities vanished. Staring into her eyes, I knew I would be fine as long as I had her by my side. They say home is where the heart is. I had no doubt mine was with her.

Andromeda went back to our room to pack her stuff before me, allowing me a moment of privacy with my friends. At first, we were just teasing each other, but it wasn't long before they were all emotional. Sasha had just gone away, which is probably why they were so sensitive. After we exchanged hugs and I promised to come visit them, I decided to head outside and take one last stroll through the territory before I effectively started to prepare for my departure.

On my way back to the pack house, I encountered Tigger for the first time in the past few days. Judging by the disgusted look he threw at me, I guessed Andromeda had already told him the news. For the first time, I was the one to show him the yellowest smile. It felt so good to see him frown in displeasure.

Once I was reunited with my Queen in the Gamma suite, the Alpha sent a few Omegas to help me box all of my belongings. I had bought a lot of stuff after I stepped in as third-in-command, but most of it was meaningless to me. Aside from a few personal items and my favorite clothes, I decided to leave everything behind. They would be donated to pack members who could make better use of it, and as King, I'm sure I would have access to whatever I needed.

It was around seven when we were done packing. While the Omegas carried everything downstairs, I headed to the dining hall to have dinner with my friends for the last time, and Andromeda tagged along. She got along well with the team, even if she didn't have the opportunity to properly bond with them due to how rushed her stay here was. I had no doubts she would have many more chances to get closer to them in the future. Besides, there was someone else I really wanted her to meet.

After our meal, I checked the Gamma suite one last time to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. I couldn't help but stare into the luxurious room for a while, memorizing its every corner. Once I was ready, I finally went back to the Alpha's office to cut my ties with Diamond Tempest and say my final goodbyes to my family.

"Who would have thought my lazy stray brother would become a King someday?" Lance flashed a sincere smile at me as he opened the first drawer of his desk.

"I guess the Goddess has finally remembered about her forgotten child." I smirked in response, watching him pull out a silver dagger - the same one I had seen him use on the day Sasha left our pack.

He glanced at the blade for a while before his eyes landed on me. "Any last words?"

"Are you planning on stabbing me?" I faked horror.

"You never miss the chance to make a joke, do you?" He shook his head in disappointment. "You won't be able to link the pack anymore after we're done here. If you wanna send them one last message, do it now."

I nodded at him, sighing before letting my eyes cloud over. The ability to simultaneously reach into the minds of every member of Diamond Tempest was one I had acquired upon officially stepping in as Gamma, but I didn't have time to fully master it. It took me some time to finally establish the multiple connection, but once I did, I already knew what to say.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Gamma, Jasper Stray. I'm reaching out to you to inform you of my departure. It is with a heavy heart that I will be renouncing my position. Your new third-in-command will be announced soon." My heart throbbed in my chest. I struggled to finish my speech. "Thank you for your loyalty and trust in me. My time as Gamma was short, but the lessons I learned serving you will never be forgotten."

As soon as I was done, I put up a block to prevent my brain from being bombarded with responses. Mindlinking more than two hundred members at once had already drained my energy, I didn't wish to get a headache as well. Taking a deep breath, I glanced at Lance to let him know I was ready.

Since I had witnessed the former Delta's bond-breaking ritual, I already knew what to expect. Still, I was reluctant to stretch my hand out towards my friend. He took it with similar hesitancy, breathing heavily before finally bringing the dagger closer to my palm. My skin burned as the blade sliced my palm open, but I didn't even wince. After the heat, I think I had gotten immune to pain.

In a matter of seconds, I felt my chest ache as my bond with the pack was broken. Phoenix howled in sorrow at the loss of our connection with our family, afflicted by the same sudden melancholy as me. The wound in my palm hadn't even started healing when Lance pulled me by the hand, forcing me into his arms. Caught off guard, I stiffened at first, but it wasn't long before I instinctively hugged him back.

"Don't set the clan on fire, okay? We really can't lose this alliance," he said playfully as he finally released me from his bear embrace.

"Interesting. I'll make sure to make good use of that information once I'm King." I showed him my usual smirk.

He didn't have time to retort before his Luna jumped into my arms. "I can't believe you're leaving too!" She sobbed into my chest as I hugged her tight. "Please don't cry, Cait." s**t. It was getting hard to fight back the tears.

"I'm sorry. It's the pregnancy hormones." She wiped her eyes as she pulled away. "Goddess, I'm so ready for this pup to pop out already!"

"In a month, beautiful." Her mate kissed the top of her head, caressing her hair in an attempt to soothe her.

I was so distracted watching them, I barely noticed Luke and Megan coming at me from both sides, wasting no time to sandwich me. "How will I survive without my drinking buddy?" The Beta female pouted.

"Without you, who will get on my nerves? I don't think I'm ready for how peaceful it'll be around here," the second-in-command teased.

"Why do I have a feeling y'all will be throwing a party the second I cross the borders?" I joked as I pushed them both away.

The last one to approach me was Charles. "Thank you, Gamma Jasper. For everything," he uttered with his head low in a clear sign of respect.

"It was my pleasure." I touched his shoulder, and he finally looked at me. "Take good care of Diamond Tempest, okay? Us Gammas have to make sure the pack won't burn to the ground."

"I will try my best to continue your legacy," he reassured me with a smile. My...legacy?

Before I could dwell on it, Cait held me at arm's length, forcing me to look at her. "This is your chance at a new start in life. Don't mess it up."

"I won't. I promise." We grinned at each other.

And as silence filled the room, I realized it was finally time for me to leave.

I felt shivers run down my spine as I was overcome by hesitation. Was I really ready to go? I stiffened as I felt Andromeda's fingers interlock with mine, but soon enough, her touch made me relax. She showed me an encouraging smile, offering me the courage I was lacking. I returned the gesture before turning to my friends. With a final nod, I silently bid them farewell before walking away with my Queen by my side.

As we trudged through the hallways of the pack house, each step was a little easier to take. I decided to make it a point to leave my insecurities here along with my past, so as we neared the exit, I held my head higher, mimicking my mate's posture. When we made it to the entrance, the most annoying guard was already waiting for us there, wearing the same frustrated expression from earlier. I thought all we had to do now was get in the car and leave, but as soon as we stepped outside, I froze.

All of the two hundred plus members of our pack were present at the town square, bowing before me.

"Farewell, Gamma Jasper!" Their voices echoed in unison throughout the open space before I could even process what was going on. I knew they were loyal to me - they had to be - but I had no idea they respected me this much. After a few seconds, Andromeda squeezed my hand, breaking my trance. "Thank you," I whispered to them, still in awe.

As we headed to the car, I couldn't take my eyes off them. Even after I took my seat inside the limousine, I kept watching them through the window while my mate rested her head on my shoulder. When we started moving, I was even more surprised to see a few dozens of the members shifting. The wolves followed us until we reached the borders, only then stopping to aim their heads at the sky and howl. I immediately knew it was a song of goodbye.

"That was one hell of a farewell," Dree broke the silence, still staring back at the howling wolves. When her eyes met mine, I noticed a pinch of guilt in them. "I'm sorry to steal you away from your family, my King."

"I don't mind starting a new one with you, my Queen." I leaned forward to kiss her lips, but before I could, I heard the third wheel clear his throat loudly.

I couldn't help but smile. Was it wrong that his annoyance brought me so much joy?

"Not at all," Phoenix answered. "After the many ways in which he defied us, it'll be great to use our new status to make his life a living hell." Now that was something I was definitely looking forward to.

We rode in silence for most of the time as I brushed the back of my mate's hand with my thumb. Touching her helped me stay calm, and it also kept my doubts away. In a little under an hour, we reached a tall wooden gate guarded by two male lynxes. The creatures jumped in front of the car to block our passage, but as soon as they recognized their princess, they stepped away and opened the gate to let us through.

As soon as we were in, I was mesmerized by the view. There were a few tall pine trees scattered around the never-ending white hills. Cottages were placed a good distance away from each other, and the whole territory seemed to be secured by a large wooden fence, which made sense; since clans were smaller than packs, it was possible to effectively enclose their lands to make it easier to defend it. The members we came across, who were mostly in animal form, all stopped to stare at us with curiosity, as well as a hint of distrust.

The most impressive detail was just ahead of us though. As we continued our way uphill, I eventually spotted what I assumed was the Town Hall. It was a castle. A freaking real life castle! A small one, but still. It consisted of a stone building with a triangular top surrounded by four tall towers. The color scheme helped it blend in with the trees and mountains. Its walls were all painted white, while the roofs were of a dark shade of blue. There was a beautiful garden of the whitest camellias in front of it, where our car finally came to a stop.

"Ah, it feels so good to be back!" Andromeda whispered as she stepped outside, taking in the fresh air of her home. I couldn't help but smile at her reaction, pulling her closer in a side hug. Again, I was interrupted as I was about to kiss her - this time, by her mother. "Welcome to your new home, Prince Jasper." The Queen greeted us with the same stern face she always had on. "Now that you have marked my daughter, you can finally start training to become our King."

And just like that, I knew I had a long journey ahead of me; but for once, I didn't feel scared.
