Mysterious Little Wife
Chapter 33 Talented Actress

Xeoct Hills was located in the most scenic part of Coastal City.

Its hotel had exclusive access to the cleanest beach in the area.

For one night, the cheapest accommodation costs 1688 dollars.

They'd be open for business in a month.

A week prior, Sam had given away dozens of free tickets as a promotion.

Big names, of course, were among the recipients.

As a result, when Lacey and the group arrived at the site, they were greeted by numerous celebrities.

In the meanwhile, they would be staying in a villa.

Although few, these villas were remarkable for their elegance and size.

Five minutes ago, Theo had gone over to Lacey and invited her to the beach area, where a lively party was going on.

Lacey, however, turned down the offer, stating that she needed to rest.

She spoke from the other side of the door.

On her bed lie several pieces of clothing, ranging in color from yellow to white. They were all famous brands.

Lacey sat near the French window. Her hands wrapped around her knees as she gazed out at the ocean as calm as her eyes.

She underestimated Lillianna.

She had thought her vomiting in the car would cause a stir.

Unexpectedly, Lillianna, a talented actress, rushed to care for Lacey's well-being, regardless of the vomit on her clothes.

The look of concern on her face was so sincere.

Those who did not know Lillianna well might have thought she was a caring person.

Lacey then rose to her feet. She walked over to the bed and picked out a random dress.

Meanwhile, the breezy beach was brightly lit and surrounded by flowers. The venue looked like a wonderland.

Sam had invited a large group of friends to join in on the fun.

On the long tables were various exquisite dishes and countless bottles of red wine worth millions of dollars.

Those who attended were directors, CEOS, business elites, or celebrities.

Many people, both men, and women sat and talked. What an intriguing scene.

Lillianna would giggle timidly in Sam's arms as the other girls occasionally teased her.

It seemed that she had forgotten about Lacey's existence.

Just then, Theo looked at his watch and was about to stand up.

"Mr. Henderson!" Lillianna called to him sharply. "Where are you going?"

"I'd like to go check on Lacey," Theo replied.

Lillianna grinned as she said, "There's no need for that. She must have fallen asleep. We'll visit her after the party is over. She had to have awoken by then." Just as she finished speaking, silence surrounded her.

Everyone was stunned.

Following that, a mild discussion began. "Wait, isn't that Lillianna?"

"No, that's her sister, the one mentioned on Facebook," another responded.

Lillianna turned her head as soon as she heard the muttered words.

It was Lacey, approaching with a faint smile.

She wore a simple yet elegant yellow dress. Her dark silky hair cascaded over her exposed shoulders, giving her skin a jade-like aesthetic.

The crowd fell silent as she moved closer.

Everyone looked at Lillianna almost subconsciously before moving on to Lacey.

Despite their identical appearance, the twins seemed to have some differences. Lillianna wore a bespoke white dress.

But even so, Lacey's cheap-looking yellow dress made her feel defeated.

Her hands clenched into fists under the table.

"Lacey, over here!" Theo beamed with joy and pulled out the chair next to him.

Lacey walked over to Theo with a faint smile. "I'm sorry I'm late," she apologized as she turned to face the crowd.

A frown swept across each face, and whispers arose. They seemed displeased by her presence.

"Hurry up and have a seat. I was about to go look for you!" Theo went on to compliment her, saying, "Wow, you look so beautiful tonight."

Lacey returned the smile. Looking up, she noticed Lillianna.

That was right. There in front of her sat Lillianna and Sam! ☐☐
