One Girl Two Mates
Chapter 3

DIEGO POV

I captured my mate in my arms just before she fell to the ground. The rush of having two mates must have been too much for her to handle. I finally raised my eyes to watch the man's figure disappear, I hadn't had a chance to look at his face. Why was he leaving her? She's his mate! A low growl escaped my lips, but before I could let my anger get to me my little mate stirred.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked, brushing loose hair out of her face.

"It... hurts..." That's when I noticed the sweat glistening all over her body.

"What hurts? What's wrong?" I cupped her cheek, trying to get her to open her eyes.

"Everything." It came out in a growl and her eyes opened, shining a vibrant green. She whimpered as she looked in my eyes, then it hit me.

"Is it your birthday too?" Her lip quivered, she nodded her head slightly.

"You just turned eighteen?" I sighed.

"Yes." She growled once again and then I heard it, the beginning of the shift.

"It's okay, baby girl, I got you." I quickly lifted her into my arms and dashed outside into the forest behind the garden.

"I have to take your clothes off, okay?" I told her as I cupped her face. She responded by loosening her tie and pulling at her vest. I helped her undress completely and although I wanted to admire her glorious body, it wasn't the right time. I shed my clothes alongside her, waiting to shift with her. I watched as her body contoured, screams, and growls escaped her lips. I stroked my hand down her back, trying to soothe her.

"It HURTS." She screamed, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"It's almost over, baby, I promise." I murmured next to her ear. Her heart rate accelerated, I stepped back a few paces. Within the blink of an eye, a white wolf lay on the forest floor before me.

"Oh mi amor, you're a white wolf." I gasped as I stared at her glorious white fur. She c****d her head and my eyes met hers, deep beautiful green orbs stared back at me. I stepped back and let my wolf break free. She slowly rose to her feet, eyeing me with caution as I stalked towards her. Before I could touch her she bolted like a feral animal. So my little mate wants to be chased? Two can play at that game. I chuckled in my head as I dashed off to replace her. LILIANA POV

My heart thundered in my chest, slamming against my ribcage. I could hear the sound of his black paws hitting the earth, bounding after me. It felt... exhilarating. Feeling free to run and have the wind blow against my fur, I felt complete. I hadn't realized I slowed down until his giant black wolf barrelled me into the forest floor. I let my wolf instincts kick in as I nipped at the big black wolf. He gave me a playful growl as he pounced on me, rolling us around in the dirt.

We let our wolves play for what felt like hours. Finally we both lay panting on the forest floor. His eyes were so alluring, even in wolf form they were a beautiful honey color. When I had my breathing under control I shifted back to my human form. Thankfully we'd come back to where we left our clothes.

"Please don't look at me while I change." I said as I quickly hurried into my server uniform. When I turned around I nearly fainted.

"Oh!" I gasped, I was frozen in the spot and I couldn't look away. He stood before me in all his naked glory. My eyes traveled downward of their own accord. Even though it was only semi hard it was huge, it made me squeeze my thighs together. A small moan escaped my lips, I wanted to smack myself.

"See something you like, mi amor?" He chuckled teasingly. I felt all my blood rush to my face as I spun with my back to him.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to look!" I stammered. I'm so embarrassed, earth please swallow me up. I heard his clothes rustling as he chuckled.

"It's okay little mate, you can stare all you want." I gasped when I felt him directly behind me. His arms circled around my waist and pulled me against his hard chest. When my butt pressed against him I realized his chest wasn't the only hard thing on his body. I quickly wiggled out of his hold and turned, standing before him. He was truly handsome, so I took a moment to drink him in. His long brown hair was loose around his shoulder and his white dress shirt was open, exposing his naked chest.

"My eyes are up here, mi amor." My eyes quickly snapped up to look at him. Those golden orbs were so inviting I ended up taking a step towards him. He followed suit, closing the space between, he paused sniffing the air. "You're part vampire?" His question was like cold water down my back.

"Y-yes." I whispered, looking down. He reached up, placing a finger under my chin and tilted my head so that I looked into his eyes.

"You are to only feed from me or blood bags." He said sternly, my eyes grew wide.

"What?" I sputtered as I looked up at him.

"I know feedings can be... intimate, so you'll only be feeding from me or blood bags." He said simply as he caressed my jaw. The soothing sparks ignited my body.

"I've never fed from another person, I've only had blood bags." I blinked up at him.

"Good, that shall be another one of your firsts that I take." He smiled as his thumb stroked my bottom lip. Wait... what?

"What do you mean?" I felt my heart race.

"Have you been with a man before or a woman?" He raised his brow.

"What do you... oh! Oh n-no!" I felt the blush creep across my cheeks.

"Good, all mine." He husked as his face lowered to my neck. He placed a quick kiss on the spot where his mark will go. Sparks shot straight down to my core, it felt like a mini o****m.

"Oh my!" I gasped, clutching onto him for dear life.

"I love how responsive your body is, little mate." He husked against my neck.

"Liliana or you can call me Lili." I breathed out. He leaned away, grabbing my hand gently and bringing it to his lips.

"Well miss Liliana, my name is Diego, Alpha of the Dark Woods pack." I gasped, pulling my hand back. "You're an Alpha?"

"Is there a problem with that?" He c****d his brow at me.

"But I'm a half breed." I watched his eyes darken.

"Never say that again and if anyone calls you that, I will have their head." He growled, pulling me against his chest. I didn't have time to respond as he brought his lips to mine. I melted into his embrace, our bodies molded together. "Diego! Are you out there?" I heard a woman call his name. A growl escaped my lips before I could control it.

"Easy now, mi amor, it's just my sister." He said as we pulled away, cutting the kiss way too short.

"I'm coming!" Diego called out to his sister. He held my hand in his as we made our way back to the garden.

"I've been looking everywhere for you, pendejo!" His sister was small for a she wolf. Her beautiful brown hair was full of blue highlights and blended down into blue tips. Glancing between them I could definitely tell they were siblings. Her light green eyes grew wide as she glanced between us.

"You found her." She gasped, cupping her mouth. Diego took the opportunity to bring me closer to his side, burying his face in my loose hair.

"Mi amor, this is my sister, Valentina. Valentina, this is Liliana." As I listened to them I realized they both had light hispanic accents.

"Hola, me llamo Lili." Diego's arm slacked slightly, I turned to see him staring at me dumbfounded. I looked up to see the same expression on Valentina's face.

"I took four years of Spanish in high school." I laughed awkwardly, looking between them.

"She's perfect!" Valentina squealed as she barreled over to me, squeezing me in a bear hug.

"Valentina, relax before you crush my mate." Diego grumbled as he pulled me away from her

"I was coming to tell you that the party was over and our limo is waiting out front." Valentina said as she stepped away from us.

"Let's go home, mi amor." Diego said as he kissed my temple.

"Go home?" I paused, pulling away from him to look up into his eyes.

"Did you think I'd let you stay here?" He raised his brow as he looked down at me.

"Well I-I live here, all of my stuff is here." I stared at him quizzically.

"I'll send some people over to pack your things, they'll be at our pack house by tomorrow." My head felt like it was spinning. I gently untangled myself from his embrace.

"We just met, maybe give me a little time before I move in with you." I laughed awkwardly, Valentina and Diego both stared at me like I was crazy.

"I'm gonna go wait in the car." Valentina whispered as she slowly backed away, walking into the house.

"But you're my mate." Diego said, cupping my cheek.

"And a stranger." I pointed out.

"I don't care, I want you home with me, in my sheets." He growled seductively, sending shivers down my spine. I placed my hands on his strong shoulders.

"Just give me tonight to pack my things, you can come get me in the morning." I looked up at him through my lashes.

"You already have me wrapped around your finger, mi amor." He pecked my cheek gently.

"Okay, one night and then you come home with me, where you belong." He spoke as he held my face. I nodded in his embrace, he sighed as he let me go. I watched as he walked back through the house, disappearing through people.
