Athena's POV

One Week Later

It had officially been a week since I had given birth to my triplets as well as that horrible dream. And since then everyone's been on edge. including me. For since the dream I've always had this constant need to watch my back everytime I went somewhere. Your being paranoid' whispers Artemis, having sensed my fear as she woke up from her nap.

I'm not being paranoid I move to reply back to her.

Yes you are' answers Artemis.

Am NOT!' I say, only to pause. 'Okay.. maybe just a little bit, but can you truly blame me? I keep getting this feeling of being watched all

of a sudden."

'Do you know by who?' asks Artemis, now more awake than she was before.

"No and that's the thing. I can't figure it out either' I say, my mind wandering to all these different feelings I had been feeling lately.

"Well whoever it is we'll face it together, promise. Just like we did during our time at the Moon Walker Pack' admits Artemis, a shiver running through me at remembering my hellish home. A home that always abused me.

'Speaking of the Moon Walker Pack, I hope we never have to see them again' I move to tell her, my eyes now moving to look out one of my windows, admiring the scenery that surrounded us.

Just then a soft voice quickly pulls me from my thoughts.

"Mommy?" calls the voice.

Turning to voice I can't help but see Adrian as he now stood within the doorway of the family room. "Adrian? Is everything okay? I thought you were upstairs playing while your brothers and sister slept" I all but said to him, wondering what could have brought him downstairs.

"I was Mommy. But then I kept getting this feeling that we were being watched" answers Adrian.

"Watched?" I ask, trying my hardest not to panic, something about that not sitting well with me.

"Yes"

Frowning, I moved to gesture him over to me, waiting und he was close enough to me before pulling him into my arms, holding him gently as I did.

"It's okay sweetheart. Mommy has you. I'll go ahead and link Daddy and Papa and have them come check the outside if that'll help ease your mind." I say to him, hoping to calm him down. Not wanting to create fear for him when he was so young and didn't need to be dragged into my problems.

"Okay Mommy" whispers Adrian, snuggling into my arms as he did. Sensing his uneasiness as he did.

'Poor Adrian, with all this talk about dreams lately he must have picked up on the undertone of everyone's emotions including my own' I move to think, still holding him gently as I did.

Shoving those thoughts all but away from me I all but go back to comforting my son. Unaware that we were indeed being watched from

Rosalyn's POV

I'm on guard duty again. For the whole entire past week I've been sent to keep tabs on this person. Never up close though Can't afford to be caught but today, I might have slipped up and let another person see me.

I had been sitting on a tree branch like usual as I all but watched from far only to see that of a tiny child as they moved to approach a window. Brown hair and brown eyes all but searching the surrounding area only to land on mine, causing panic to rise as it happened. SHIT! Not good!

Scared of being caught, I all but teleport away, back to my home. My coven. Knowing that if I didn't then Lily would for sure be angry at me for not even attempting to be careful. And that was something I could not afford to let happen. -Athena's POV-

After spending an hour or so trying to calm Adrian down, do I finally reach out to my mates. Knowing they were at the pack house checking in as that was its sole purpose now, to be used only when needed for Ares, Eros and Myself along with Lima Gwen and Alpha Alarick as well as Kai, Seth and Sam had all but moved out of the pack house.

Each moved into their own home which were now stationed around ours. Like a tiny village. But only for the Alpha and his family. The rest of the pack stayed closer to the pack house or had homes stationed elsewhere between the packs. Sighing, I move to open a link.

*Ares? Eros?' I say, hoping I wasn't catching them at a bad time.

'Yes Love?' calls Ares through the bond, worried.

"Is everything okay?' asks Eros, equally worried as well.

'No... I'm afraid not. Adrian has just told me that he felt someone watching us' I admit.

'Watching us?' questions Eros, wanting to make sure he heard right.

'Yes... Watching us. And while I'm trying not to panic at the moment, I don't think he would lie to me about it either' I move to say to them, trying hard not to jump to conclusions right about now.

'Hmmm.. hums Ares upon hearing that.

'Hmmm... What?' I all but ask.

'Nothing love, I was just thinking was all, but Eros and I will double check the area upon our return home answers Ares, hoping it would help ease my nerves.

'Thank you' I all but say, finally able to relax, knowing that my mates would all but check the area before returning to help ease my fears. Hoping and praying to the Moon Goddess herself that there was no one actually outside our home.

Glancing now down to Adrain, I can't help but see that he's all but fallen asleep. Smiling, I move to carefully stand up from where I was sitting before carefully making the climb up the flight of stairs to the second floor and to where Adrians room was along with Ryder, Nathan and Samara, planning to put Adrian down for a nap before checking up on my other babies to make sure they were still asleep before heading up towards my room, deciding a small nap was in order since everyone else was still asleep and I had nothing else better to do until my children all but woke up.
