Natalie looked at Jennifer's innocent act with nothing but disgust "Are you calling me a bully? Jennifer, do you believe in karma? Everything you've done to me will come back to you" Jennifer was stunned; Natalie had never defended herself before

Natalie turned to Easton. "Easton, I've let you two be together. There's no need for you and Jennifer to keep pushing me

around like this"

Easton frowned, recalling how he'd misunderstood her before. His gaze darkened. "Natalie, the last two times we did misunderstand you. It was our..."

Natalie cut him off with a cold laugh. "Don't apologize, Easton. You don't deserve to. What you owe me is more than your life could repay."

"The Simpson family and the Garcia family have wronged me far too many times over the past couple of years. What you owe me, you can't repay, so don't bother with apologies." She added. Easton's gaze turned even darker. "Natalie, do you have to make such a scene?"

"Shut up! Why do you always say I'm causing a scene? What the hell is wrong with your eyes and ears? Did you see me bullying Jennifer just now?" Natalie shouted.

"She faked her own kidnapping and framed me, and you forgave her, saying she was just immature. But I've done nothing wrong, and all of you still attack me, demanding I do this and that," she continued.

"Get lost. Say one more word, and I might just hit you!" Natalie was furious; she wouldn't hold back anymore. Around these people, she was ready to unleash everything.

Easton was also angry. His gaze was ice-cold. "Natalie, you're utterly vulgar."

Natalie laughed, unbothered by becoming vulgar. It was her meekness in the past that had led to her being bullied by them.

"That's right, I'm vulgar. Your Jennifer is gentle and kind, so go on and cherish her. But why do you have to keep crossing me?" Natalie continued, "I even helped you tonight without asking anything in return." She gave a chilling smile, then turned to Maurice. "Mr. Chambers, let's go. There's no point arguing with dogs. After all, we're not the same kind. And I'm starving."

Maurice's shoulder

shook with silent laughter at her sharp tongue. Without sparing a glance at Easton or Jennifer-he could already imagine their dark expressions-he led Natalie away for dinner.

Jennifer trembled with rage, realizing Natalie had truly changed-she was no longer easy to bully.

Easton watched as Natalie and Maurice walked away, laughing and talking, a fire simmering in his chest.

Seeing his anger, Jennifer feared he might have taken Natalie's words to heart. "Easton, with Natalie acting like this, why haven't you divorced her yet?"

Easton looked at her intently. "Why?"

Jennifer paused, confused. "Easton, what do you mean?"

He stared at her. "Why did you frame Natalie?"

Jennifer froze; he had never asked her that before.

"Why?" Jennifer forced a biner smile. "Back then, your mother forced me to leave. You know how relentless she was-I couldn't dare stay."

"When you had your accident, I wanted to stay and care for you, but my father insisted on marrying Natalie to you. I'm just an adopted daughter, Easton; no one understands my position better than you," she said. Jennifer began to cry softly, appearing utterly wronged.

She was secretly relieved that she'd managed to drive that woman insane and have her confined in a mental institution.

Jennifer wouldn't allow anyone to stand in the way of getting what she wanted-she had to marry Easton.

She had no intention of going back to that other man. She had realized that only Easton truly cared for her.

Thinking of his mother's temper, Easton could only sigh. "Let's go. I'll have Xavier take you home." Without waiting for Jennifer to respond, Easton strode out.
