REBORN UNDER THE FULL MOON
Chapter 90: Entering The Den

"I am a trained warrior, I can take them," I said to her.

"No, you can't you will expose our kind. You will put us all in danger," Bella said in a panicked voice and I realized the gravity of what I have done but I could not take it back and if I could replay the scene, I would do it all over again without

regrets.

"So, what should I do now? I cannot leave the country. I have nowhere else to go," I said to Bella.

"Okay, so this is what you will do," Bella said to me after think for a while. "What will that be?" I asked her.

"You will go into the wolves territory. I know you wanted to go a bit later but you'll have to go now. They will protect you and the human don't have access to that place so you will not be found and everything will be alright." She said smiling at her idea.

"I am not ready to go into the were wolf territory, isn't there something I can do?" I said worriedly.

"No, there is nothing else I can do for you. You have to go into the territory now," she said to me.

"Okay then, I will pack up my things tonight." I said as I walked into my room.

I guess fate has a funny way of pushing me forward when I am not ready, it is literally telling me to suck it up and do what I have to.

The next morning, Bella walked me up to the were wolves territory and as I was about to walk in, she pulled me back and warned me, "These wolves are ruthless, more so to outsider. There will be traps set in there for you and they will like put you in the dungeon and if things are really bad, they will kill you," Bella said.

"What? How come you didn't tell me any of this yesterday?!" I shouted.

"I actually didn't remember," she said sheepishly.

"You didn't remember that a wolf that is not from their territory could get killed?" I asked looking at her incredulously.

She shrugged.

I shook my head and walked into the territory, and one thing I found strange was that it wasn't held down my any sort of magic and there were no guards at the front of the barrier.

As I continued to venture into the territory, I knew why. the actual pack was very far from the barrier and there were a lot of traps set for anyone entering their territory. The traps were positioned in a way no anyone that is not trained will not survive. Too bad Lacienda trained me almost too well.

Key word being almost too well because on the last part which was the easiest trap set, I failed and I was caught and carried to the dungeon.

The place reeked of blood and faeces and it showed that they truly tortured their prisoners.

"You will meet the alpha tis evening," the guard said sternly as he locked me up.

That evening I was ragged to meet their alpha who was a very handsome but arrogant man and it was really annoying as I tried to explain myself but he just claimed that I was a spy sent by their enemies and I deserved to be punished and he told them to extract the answers from me because I wasn't replying.

"I have said this repeatedly I am not a spy," I said and his face became darker.

"Are you trying to say I am incompetent and I cannot tell a visitor from a spy?" he asked with a raise brow.

"No, I am only trying to explain to you, that I am not a spy," I responded.

"Then who are you?" he asked me.

"I am Lyra, the... the.." I stuttered as I found that I couldn't say I was Lyra the luna of free town because I wasn't the luna anymore thanks to Zeus and at that moment I wanted nothing more than to revenge.

"I thought so. You can't even tell who you are," the alpha scoffed and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

I was led back to the dungeon by the guards who were very happy to beat the answers to their questions out of me.

"You will have to cooperate with you or we will torture the answers out of you," their commander said to me with a lopsided grin.

"I have told you already, I am not a spy," I said for the hundredth time.

"If you are really not a spy them why didn't the alpha get a message of your arrival from your alpha and why did you have to sneak into our pack," the commander questioned.

“For certain reasons I am not willing to discuss and I will not discuss, plus your traps are really weak and I easily crossed all of them. You only caught me in the last one because I was already tired and for the record it was so fucking easy," I tried to rile him up but he was smart enough not to fall for it.

"After moments of questioning me and receiving little to no answers from me, the commander got mad.

"I will ask you this one more time and if you do not answer me, I will beat you so bad the only thing that will come out form that your smart mouth will be cries," he threatened.

"I would love to see you try," I smiled at him and I got a very hard slap on my face.

That side of my cheek burned and I was very sure that it had already turned purple but I really didn't mind because I knew it will heal.

"You can only try that while I am tied up. Release me and you will regret what you just did," I taunted and he landed another slap. "Are you scared?" I laughed.
