Refusing To Divorce (Julia and Harry) -
Refusing 70
Chapter 70
When Lucia saw Arya's pale face, she seemed to have thought of something. Her face grew ferocious. She looked at Arya angrily, as if she wanted to chop her into thousands of pieces. As long as she saw Arya's face, she could not calm herself down. Because she looked too much like her father.
"Why?" Lucia said angrily, "If you want to know, why don't you ask your father what he did to us back then?"
Arya's expression changed drastically. She felt like Lucia would take out a knife and stab her heart at any moment.
"This is my last warning. Don't play any tricks again. Even if you make my son divorce, you can never marry our family for the rest of your life."
As soon as she finished speaking, Lucia wanted to leave this place that suffocated her.
Before she reached the door, Arya suddenly shouted at her from behind, "Even if my father did something wrong to you, he has been dead for years. You shouldn't vent your anger on me. Harry and I are truly in love.
"Are you really willing to see your son suffer in an undesired marriage? In this world, I'm the only one who can give Harry happiness. Why can't you consider his feelings?"
Lucia turned around and stared at her. "You said that you and Harry are truly in love. Then why didn't he disobey my orders and divorce Ju Then why did he listen to me and marry Julia back then?"
There was a hint of mockery in her words as if she was mocking Arya's illusional confidence.
Arya was stunned. Lucia continued, "You love Harry so much. So you must know very well that if he doesn't want to do something, as his mother, I can't force him.
"Can you see the truth? Tell me whether he loves you or not. How can someone who loves you bear to let you suffer?" Lucia's mocking gaze made Arya begin to doubt what Harry had just promised to her. There were two voices battling in her mind. She covered her head with her hands as if it were about to explode.
Lucia left behind a sneer, and the sneer on her face was ruthlessly engraved in Arya's mind.
Julia's true identity had been exposed. She had once again fallen into a stalemate in the company. She had always been indifferent to these things. Even if she did not have any friends, it would not have a serious impact on her.
Compared to making friends, she preferred being alone.
But it still caused some trouble when she was working. There were often people secretly trying to trip her up and she got scolded by Ms. Powell recently.
Jessica watched as she walked out of Ms. Powell's office dejectedly again. She could not hide the smug smile on her face. She wiggled her hips and walked to Julia. "Hey, isn't this the famous Mrs. Wright? Why are you suffering here? I think rich ladies should stay at home
"Get lost!" Julia had no time to talk to Jessica. Kathy had arranged a new task for her. Today, she had to prepare all the materials today. Tomorrow, she had to follow Kathy to Stredport City for a business trip.
She was not in the mood to argue with Jessica now and kept busy with the work.
"How dare you!" Jessica widened her eyes and gritted her teeth. "Who do you think you are? You're just a nasty woman who used despicable methods to snatch Harry from Arya. Do you really think you're Harry's wife?"
"Am I not?" Julia looked up and asked calmly.
Jessica was speechless because what Julia said was the truth.
Nobody could deny that she was Harry Wright's legitimate wife.
Jessica was so angry that she turned around and left in a huff. Julia retracted her gaze and continued to focus on her work.
Just as she was about to reply to Harry's message, Valerie dragged her exhausted body back to her seat. She leaned on Julia's shoulder, raised her hands, and complained, "They're assholes."
Julia saw a red spot on the back of her hand. "What's wrong? What did they do to you?"
Valerie almost cried. She explained aggrievedly, "When I went to get the coffee, I heard them talking about you and Harry. They said that you were a mistress who ruined his relationship. They also said that you stole Arya's man. I was so angry that I started arguing with th 1/2
