Anthea and Sianna did well. We couldn’t hear what they were saying to her. But in the end, they got her out of the room and she headed upstairs. We heard banging from upstairs, like brick boulders were falling on to the fall and it was time to move. The girls joined hands and tried to get to work on the spell to immobilise her. But the banging kept going. Whatever she was doing wasn’t stopping. ” We’ve sealed the room ” Shira said , but then they went quiet and I could see with the expression on Shira and Willow’s faces the rest wasn’t going well. The banging stopped and Yianna’s loud scream could be heard. “TRICKERY ” she shouted loudly.

Shira and Willow bounced apart from each other. ” She is too powerful , and now she knows we are here. She knew we were trying to mess with her. We need to go now , the room being sealed won’t hold her long. And we just pissed her off .Get them out “, she rushed out. Everything began moving quickly. We ran into the library and when Timothy saw us he literally swore ” Thank f**k “. He huffed out , trying to stand himself up, he looked dreadful , his skin clammy and his complexion pale and sickly . ” Yea don’t thank us yet , we need to go now ” I told them. My dad went to Antheas’ mum and pulled the restraints off of her. Peter went and helped his dad to stand. He didn’t look completely better, but he looked better than before.

” I’LL KILL ALL OF YOU ” Yianna was screaming. ” She’s breaking the spell , we need to go “, Willow said from near the door. She was looking out. I felt Anthea in my mind. ” I can come and help ” she said , but we had them all now. ” We are coming to you , don’t you dare come up here “, I growled at her. ” I can do the spell to immobilize her ” she said back. ” Just keep her in that room , forget about killing her now ” I told her.

Bringing Anthea up here now would only mean more people getting out. For now, we have her trapped. We shouldn’t take that risk of her getting any of us. And I didn’t want Anthea near her. If she came near she might sense the babies. I mean, I know I was being extreme, but when we next came face to face with her, I wanted our army behind us. She had yet to know the magic was gone also.

” But Enzo ” she tried. As she tried to link with us , Yianna screeched, cutting her off. ” ANTHEA, I FEEL YOU. WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT. YOU GOT IN MY MIND THIS TIME , NEXT TIME IT WON’T BE SO EASY. YOUR WHOLE FAMILY IS DEAD. DEAD. YOUR PARLOUR TRICKS CAN NOT COMPETE AGAINST ME ” . We were helping everyone down to the kitchen when the castle shook.

” Anthea just keep her in there. Ryken can kill her. When he sets this place on fire, she will be trapped there. Let’s just get out “. We could still kill her. We could still end her without any of us getting face to face with her. When we made it down , Shira lifted the spell to conceal them. Anthea ran to her father and hugged him. You could see he wasn’t still one hundred percent. But he squeezed her tightly to him. ” Why are we not just going and ending her now ? ” Samuel questioned as he looked over the state Timothy was in. He was obviously in the same mind frame as his sister. ” Shira and Willow couldn’t immobilise her , but they did get her sealed in that room. Anthea is keeping it in place. If we go near, who knows if her magic will still reach us? This way we are all leaving here alive “. I could see my dad nod at me. He agreed.

” Get us out of here “, Timothy g*****d. ” Send Ryken a signal to get out of here. And to light this place up ” I said to Willow. She nodded , her eyes rolled to the back of her head and then was back looking at me quicker than I could blink. “Done ? “I asked. She nodded , then even down here I heard the sound of his big wings flying above. ” That is our cue to get the hell out of here ” I said, looking up. The girls did their part and got us the hell out of dodge , we landed back in front of the pack house.

Devon was running down the steps , I saw his eyes scan over us all. ” Is that it , is it over ?” he asked. I shook my head. ” We don’t know. If she survives Ryken , then we just extremely pisse her off. Warn the pack to be on high alert. Get more warriors surrounding this house and on patrol. They take shifts until we can confirm she’s dead. ” He nodded his head and started barking orders to the warriors that were already standing around.

” Samuel, go get a’ pack doctor , they need to come check on Timothy and your dad. Where’s my mum and Abigail ? ” I asked a warrior when Samuel had run off. ” They went to deliver food down in the cells. Four warriors accompanied them “, he informed me. ” Go get them “, I asked him. If this b***h was still alive , she would be majorly pissed off. And her pattern seems to be hitting the ones closest to us. I looked at my dad. ” Get all our nearest and dearest in this house , if shes coming. They will be her target ” he nodded his agreement.

Anthea was fussing over her brother , grabbing her elbow. I pulled her to one side. I speak through our link. I love my pack, I really do. I want to protect every single one of them. And if she came, I would be out here fighting on the ground. But I wanted to make sure the ones we cared for were protected. Even if that was selfish of me. ” Can you and the girls somehow protect this house from her ? ” Anthea looked at me , but didn’t answer, so I knew she was speaking with Sianna. ” Sianna says with her magic and the girls , we could protect half of the pack lands maybe more. She says it is like putting a magical dome around us. No one in, no one out. Sianna thinks it could do more harm than good. If Yianna figures out what we have done. Then she can use it to her advantage. If we move the whole pack into that dome , even with supplies. She could just surround us , she’s been patient all of these years. What would be another few weeks a month at max? Before we run out of food or anything else”.

I agreed with that. ” Why don’t we just do the house, protect the ones that are injured, like your father and brother. If she comes Anthea , she will hit us where it hurts if she is not dead. She will want the ones closest to us , the ones that can’t fight or protect themselves. Then do it for a few houses around the pack for the elderly and the children. We can tell the pack which ones are safe , make them move into them if they have children. Just until we definitely know she is dead “, I told her. She nodded her head ” I’ll get the girls. I will see if Violet can help , another magic source can only strengthen it “.

” I’ll come with you , do this house first, after the doc has been in . Then we will move , we need to pass the word around the pack and I will get dad to link the pack too and tell them what’s happening. We need Ryken back. Maybe he saw if she had gone out or not ” Violet didn’t look good , but she agreed to help them. We had yet to have a funeral for him , his body lay in the freezers at the hospital. Once they put it on we had to decide who would go in , because once they were in they wouldn’t get back out until the girls dropped the spell. She forced her mum and father inside. My dad forced Abigail in , much to her protest. It looks like we will have to replace different accommodation. They also made it so goods, such as food could be slid through , just nothing living or breathing.

It took a lot of explaining to the members of the pack. We chose the bigger houses. In the end, we needed to protect about thirty, maybe more to fit everyone in. There was a lot of confusion and worry. My father and mother ended up having to come down to help us calm down and explain to the pack members why we were doing this. Whoever was fit to fight and didn’t need to protect their child stayed out. So a lot of mated couples have been split up for now. Warriors were informed of which houses needed to be guarded and the families that had been shipped out of their homes for now were relocated.

I saw some accusing glances at Anthea , at how quickly things had been moving. And when the threat became , they blamed her. That their loved ones were now in danger because of her. We don’t have the time to address those feelings now. Doing this had taken too long. The girls looked drained from using so much magic. When we went back to the pack house after, appeasing the pack. All I wanted to do was push Anthea through that barrier. Put her in the protection of the house. But I knew she would never forgive me. My mother and father, having a quiet, intimate moment, caught my eye. I watched on as my father kissed my mother softly and looked into her eyes. ” Be safe ” my mother whispered to him. ” Protect our daughter and I’ll protect our son “, my father told her back. My mum smiled and nodded up at him before they kissed again. I saw my mum look at Anthea and nod , so I felt like I had missed something. My mother walked up to Anthea who was standing near the edge of the boundary and held her hand up to it. My mother grabbed her other hand , and kissed Anthea on the cheek before she easily stepped through to it and walked up to the house. And hugged Abigail. So Anthea could let people in that tidbit of information she had failed to mention to me. Maybe because she knew I would try to force her in at some point. Who knows? I just clicked on. We actually had no where to go now.
