Chapter 889 Gloria Looked Solemn

If she could present evidence to prove what she said about Gloria to be true, Rachel would be justified to go against Gloria.

Angela was fine with it. She would offer evidence to Rachel as long as Rachel was willing to go against Gloria.

The next moment, Angela said calmly, "I do have evidence. I will send it to your phone later. If you are going to sit by and do nothing after you see the proof, I'll no longer come to you. If you don't cherish Mr. Collins, whatever I do will be useless."

There was a twinkle in Rachel's eyes. She stared at Angela silently.

Angela had put on the mask and sunglasses and looked like she didn't want to talk too much to Rachel.

Seeing Rachel fixating on her, she said calmly, "Miss Roberts, I have said it all. I don't think you wanna waste your time on me, so I gotta go. We'll be in touch if there is a reason."

After she finished talking, she smiled, nodded at Rachel and left without Rachel's replying.

Rachel stared after Angela, who closed the private room door considerately. Then Rachel just sat still in her chair with mixed emotions.

Evidence?

What was it?

Was Angela telling the truth or not?

Angela said she could look into it. Thinking of it, Rachel took her cellphone and sent a message to her assistant before she got up and left the room.

She had to replace out the truth.

If Gloria, as Angela said, would hurt Jordy, she would take action to stop Gloria because she never allowed anyone to harm Jordy.

Keeping these thoughts to herself, Rachel waited patiently.

She was waiting for her assistant's investigation results and Angela's proof.

Time ticked away.

Two days had passed.

It was business as usual for Gloria at work.

But...

Gloria's face turned solemn after she received a phone call from Irene.

After work, she hurried to Irene's home,

When Irene opened the door for Gloria, she saw Gloria's anxious look and said, "Come in, have a seat, and I get some water for you."

Gloria didn't say anything, but nodded and walked in.

Irene handed a pile of photos to Gloria and said calmly, "I have tried my best. These are all I can get. I printed out copies of these photos myself. The original photos have gone missing." Gloria set her lips in a grim line without uttering a word. Still, she picked up one of those photos Irene handed to her.

The photo showed a woman.

It was blurry, but Gloria could see the woman's silhouette. Beside the woman stood Gloria's father. It was clearly an old picture taken more than two decades ago.

"She..."

"It should be your father that ruined those original photos. When I investigated what happened to your father, I found out these photos. This woman in the photo is supposed to be your mother." Though the photo was fuzzy, Gloria could see the woman in the photo was a beauty with fair skin.

Gloria looked at the photos one by one, which showed that her parents did all kinds of poses intimately with happy smiles on their faces. Gloria was a little bit confused all of a sudden. Was what Angela said about her parents really true?

Perhaps Angela had lied to her.

But... why did her father never talk about her mother? And why did her father keep silent or change the subject when she talked about her mother?
