Return Of The Prodigy -
Return of the Prodigy Chapter 105
"Damn!"
"F***"
"Where did this lunatic come from?"
The rich kids narrowly jumped to the side, cursing loudly.
The car door opened, and before the person got out, a louder curse echoed through the entire venue.
"You f***ers, are you looking to die?"
As the words fell, a man in casual khaki clothes jumped out in a hurry, striding to the closest rich kid, and without hesitation, he delivered a slap.
The rich kids were instantly dumbfounded.
"Marcus?"
"Damn, Marcus, why are you hitting me?"
Adam took a closer look. The one who rushed over was none other than Marcus, the young master of the Holidays.
"Am I hitting you? I'll f***ing kill you!" Marcus scolded.
"Before coming out, how did I tell you guys? Keep a low profile, low profile, and low profile again. And now, what the f**k are you doing?" Marcus stomped his foot while cursing.
Gordon quickly approached, wearing a forced smile, "Marcus, calm down first. Look at these two, rarely seen extraordinary people."
Marcus slapped Gordon on the face, "F**k you!"
With lingering anger, Marcus didn't stop there. He kicked Gordon down, and then, shaking all over, he turned around.
Without a second word, he went weak in the legs.
Plop!
Directly on his knees!
"Mr. Drake, Mrs. Drake, I'm sorry. I apologize on their behalf. Please forgive them." Marcus pleaded.
Katie looked speechless.
Could there be such a coincidence? Last time at the Aegean Restaurant, the Holidays was scared by Mr. Hamilton, and even the family head, Bruce Holiday, knelt and apologized. Unexpectedly, today they encountered Marcus again. But it's fine. With Marcus here, today's matter will be resolved properly.
No matter how arrogant the Lewis' is, they can't compare to the Holidays.
Looking at the stunned expressions of Gordon and the others, Marcus apologized again, "Mr. Drake, Mrs. Drake, I'm sorry. I apologize on their behalf. Please spare them this time."
Gordon and the others, one by one, wore expressions of disbelief.
"Marcus, what are you doing?"
"Marcus, are your legs weak? Shall I help you up?"
"Get off!" Marcus slapped away Gordon who approached, shouting, "Quickly kneel down and apologize to Mr. Drake."
Gordon instantly felt extremely unwilling. "Marcus, what's wrong with you? You want me to kneel down to a loser?"
Gritting his teeth, Marcus said, "Believe me, kneel down and apologize right away, or not only you but your entire family will suffer!"
"Just him?" Gordon was shocked.
"I've said my piece. Whether you kneel or not is up to you."
Gordon and his companions looked at each other, hesitant.
After a few seconds, one of the rich kids couldn't hold back and, with a thump, kneeled down beside Marcus.
Then, in the next moment...
Thump, thump. One after another, the rich kids knelt down.
"Sorry, we were blind and offended you. Please forgive us!" they pleaded.
Adam couldn't be bothered by these people and coldly stared at Gordon.
Hesitating for a moment, Gordon finally gritted his teeth and kneeled down.
"I'm sorry. It was my ignorance that offended you. You can hit or scold us as you wish. I admit defeat."
The onlookers were all shocked.
The rich kids who were boasting about buying the entire venue and being arrogant suddenly all kneeled?
Is this real or a TV drama?
Adam didn't want these wastrels to affect his mood. He said coldly, "Twenty slaps for each of them, then get away!"
Gordon and the others struggled for a moment. But seeing Marcus, they eventually made up
Marcus bowed and said without hesitation, "Thank you for letting us off, Mr. Drake." He then raised his hand and slapped his face audibly.
The sound of the slapping could be heard crisply, so Marcus must have put a lot of force into it.
"What are you doing?" asked Adam.
Marcus smiled sheepishly and replied, "I was slapping myself."
Adam was speechless for a moment before saying, "I was not talking about you. You will make sure they do it properly."
Marcus immediately said, "Thank you, Mr. Drake."
Adam nodded. "Get up."
Marcus stood up immediately.
"Oh yes. What brings you here?" asked Adam.
Marcus instantly knelt again as he replied awkwardly, "Ever since the incident, I was grounded by my father. Today is the first day I could leave the house. I... I wanted to go out and have some fun without causing any trouble, so I thought about coming to the theme park."
Marcus felt annoyed. Ever since the incident, his father had given Marcus a piece of his mind and even froze his bank card. He had genuinely learned his lesson about keeping a low profile, so he even deliberately took the most low-key card he owned and drove the Mercedes-Benz.
He unexpectedly encountered Adam at the theme park.
Marcus was relieved he spotted Adam the moment he drove over. Also, he handled the problem perfectly. If he offended Adam again today, his father would probably break his legs and ground him for the rest of his life.
"Okay then. After you are done watching them slap themselves, come join us in the theme park then. Keep it up. The future of your family rests on your shoulders," said Adam.
"Thank you so much, Mr. Drake," said Marcus with great appreciation.
Then, he turned to Gordon and the others, shouting, "Why aren't you doing anything? Let me be clear. If anyone today doesn't slap at least twenty times or hold back any strength, don't blame me, Marcus, for cutting ties with him forever!" Gordon and his friends were at a loss for words.
"Mr. Holiday, Marcus, can I first refund the money for renting the theme park, and then come back to fight?" one rich kid weakly asked.
Marcus kicked him aside and shouted, "Refund? You are going to treat everyone to the theme park to make up for it."
He then turned, smiled, and asked, "Mr. Drake, does that work for you?"
"That will do. Just take care of it," replied Adam mildly. He turned to ask Fannie, "Are you happy now?"
Satisfied? She had hoped to see Adam's martial arts skills in action, but nothing had happened.
As for Adam's display of dominance, making Gordon and Marcus kneel, she didn't care.
As the head of the Black Snake Brigade, Adam could easily deal with these small local families from Hulo City.
Frustrated, she now had to thank him.
"Thank you, Mr. Drake." Fannie smiled sweetly and softly.
Adam snorted, ignoring her. He was already thinking about replaceing time later to properly discipline this girl. Being beautiful and cute didn't mean she could be willful and unruly. How could he, Drake the Dragon, be swayed by mere beauty? "Let's go, we can start playing now."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah! Let's play! Mom, hurry up!" Annie cheered and ran ahead.
"Take it slow." Katie hurried to catch up.
Adam followed closely behind.
Fannie, pouting, stared at Adam's back, thinking about how to force him to take action.
