Return Of The Real Heiress: Secrets And Masks -
My Billionaire Family 487
Chapter 487
The next day was another day for Cherise to give classes at Betrico University.
After breakfast, Morris and Cherise went their separate ways.
On the way, Morris seriously asked Leo and Steven, who were driving, "How are the wedding plans coming along?"
Leo replied, "Mr. Chivers, don't worry. Even though you were kidnapped by that old witch for a few days last time, I didn't dare to stop even for a moment.
"Even when Mr. Simpson asked me to hand it over, I absolutely refused. Everything is going according to your plan and it's going well."
Morris nodded. Steven, sitting in the passenger seat, chimed in, Mr. Chivers, do you think maybe you and Mrs. Chivers should replace some time to take wedding photos or something?
"Sure, it may seem like a bit of a waste of time, but marriage is an once-in-a-lifetime event, and it's better for the guy to take the lead.
"Look, everything on the man's side is already perfectly arranged, and the girl just needs to sit pretty and wait to be the bride.
"Isn't that the most romantically practical thing ever? Beats anything else easily."
"Wow, Steven, you're quite experienced! Anyone who didn't know better might think you've been married a few times." Leo couldn't help but praise Steven.
Hearing Steven say this, Morris thought it over, seeming to agree
He spoke sincerely, "You don't get it. Time spent with Cherise never feels like time wasted. Let's plan it out. Maybe discreetly replace out what she likes. The wedding should be top-notch, prepared to the highest standards."

Cherise didn't waste any time either. As soon as she got in the car, she received a call from Xenia.
As soon as the call went through, Xenia, in her usual loud voice, said, "Hey, Cherise, when do you have time? The important stuff you wanted has been delivered to my studio. Drop by when you can."
Cherise understood immediately. After thinking for a moment, she replied, "I have classes today. I'll come by after school. Please keep it under wraps for me."
"Got it, you can count on me, Cherise." After Xenia said that, they ended the call.
When Cherise hung up, a sweet, innocent smile appeared on her face, mixed with a touch of girlish shyness.

At the building of the Traditional Medicine Department, students arrived early as usual, including Hank, who rode to school on a shared bike.
He still wore those big black-rimmed glasses, with slightly uneven bangs hanging over his forehead, and clothes that looked a bit faded from washing.
As soon as he sat at his desk, just like Zander next to him, he picked up a book and started reading.
Jean sat behind him, staring with a puzzled look on her face, as if she had a question but couldn't figure out what it was.

Resting her chin in lier hand, she whispered to herself while looking at the back of Hank's head, "Where have I seen him before? This annoying sense of familiarity and this useless memory are really frustrating. "What's wrong with me lately, always forgetting things?"
She thought she was being subtle, thinking no one would notice her staring.
However, Hank suddenly turned his head, his innocent eyes behind the black frames meeting Jean's gaze. He scratched the back of his head and said, "Hey there, are you looking at the back of my head? "Pretty cool, right? I cut this hairstyle myself."
Caught by surprise, Jean stammered, "N-no, how did you know I was looking at the back of your head?
"Wait, no, I wasn't looking at the back of your head, kid. What are you talking about? Why would I look at the back of your head? Don't talk nonsense."
Seeing her cheeks turn an awkward shade of red, Hank said with an innocent smile, "Don't be shy. We're all classmates!" Jean felt more embarrassed the more she talked. Whenever she wanted to scold him, she'd meet his harmless face and just couldn't do it. So, she nodded instead. "This hairstyle is really nice. I like it a lot. I was just studying your hairstyle.
"I was about to ask where you got it done. It looks great, and it turns out you did it yourself! You've got some real skill there. I won't bother you anymore. Keep reading your book, okay?"
Hank flashed her a big smile, then turned back to his book.
Jean finally breathed a sigh of relief, wondering if this kid had eyes on the back of his head, since he even noticed someone watching him from behind.
Maybe Hank's influence had swept across the whole environment, because when Cherise came to class, it was unusual not to hear gossiping in the distance. Everyone was either reading or practicing acupuncture on a human model.
Looking around, it felt like the intense preparation period right before finals. Standing at the podium, she gently tapped it twice.
Then she spoke up, "Everyone, it's important to balance work and rest. After all, we're college students-keeping things light and having some friendly gossip is good for us!"

After class was the day Cherise and Hank had set for their assessment.
As class was about to end, Cherise asked who would like to stay and challenge Hank. Besides Zander and Jean, no one else dared to raise their hand.
So, at that moment, besides Cherise, Hank, Jean, and Zander in the classroom, everyone else had already hurried to the cafeteria.
To ensure the fairness of the exam, Cherise invited Trent and her driver Hugh to sit beside her and oversee the test.
Cherise glanced at them and took out the three test papers she had prepared the night before. "There are two sections in total. Let's start with the first one.
"The first section is theoretical knowledge. Each of you gets one paper with fifty questions. You have only ten minutes, so let's begin!"
As Jean was about to start complaining, she noticed that Zander and Hank were already rapidly working on some questions, so she quickly zipped her lips and joined their fast-paced effort 12:57 Fri, Jan 3

The questions on this test became more difficult as they progress, and it was quite a challenge for the average person to finish and answer them all correctly within ten minutes. Cherise stood above, able to quickly assess their general performance at a glance.
Before eight minutes had passed, Hank stopped what he was doing, raised his hand, and called out to Cherise, "Ms. Leach, I'm done."
At this point, Zander still had eight questions left, while Jean still hadn't finished twenty-nine of them.
