"Not at all."

Even though Colt was disgruntled, he couldn't change the fact that the shareholders had unanimously voted to oust Elodie, leaving Burke International in Odie's hands.

"That's what I wanted to hear," Sophie remarked to Timothy. "Let's get going; Mr. Adler's waiting for us downstairs."

"Yes, Ms. Sophie," Timothy replied, trailing behind her.

He truly hadn't anticipated Sophie being this shrewd. With just a few words, she'd managed to sway the shareholders' opinions entirely. Now, Burke International was under Odie's control... Downstairs, Adler, lounging lazily in the car, yawned and greeted them with, "You two took forever! Is everything sorted?"

"All sorted," Sophie confirmed.

"Sophie, you played a masterstroke!" Adler praised.

"Yeah, and not only that, but I also figured out who used the Spellman family to threaten Timothy," Sophie added.

Timothy's eyes widened in surprise as he snapped his gaze to Sophie. She figured it out? No way!

"Ms. Sophie, who did you say it was?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Sophie replied, "I don't know who the mastermind is, but the one who tipped you off had to be Griffin."

Seeing that Sophie had already dug up Griffin's involvement, Timothy couldn't help but frown.

"What's wrong? Think I'm off the mark?" Sophie probed further.

"...No," Timothy muttered.

"Your face says you know more than you're letting on. Got something to hide?" Sophie pressed. Timothy quickly lowered his head. "Ms. Sophie, I swear, I don't know anything else."

"Alright, Sophie, cut the kid some slack. He's still just a teenager. What could he possibly know? Plus, we already tested him, and he even turned on his own to help you. Don't be overly suspicious," Adler

interjected.

Sophie nodded. "True, but why do I still feel like you're keeping something from me?"

"Ms. Sophie, I swear, I'm not hiding anything. If you doubt me, I'm willing to die for you!" Timothy declared earnestly.

"Come on, Sophie has Colby. What

good would your death do? Let me tell you, Sophie has plenty of admirers, and a kid like you, still wet behind the ears, doesn't stand a chance! Just sit tight or get behind the wheel!" Adler scoffed.

At that moment, Sophie pulled out her phone and typed a quick message. Adler noticed this through the rearview mirror and commented, "Colby and Jenna must have wrapped things up. Is that the celebration location they're

sending?"

"No, I'm texting Odie," Sophie corrected.

Meanwhile, at the Minton family's Summerfield estate-

Odie had just finished dealing with some hidden operations when his phone buzzed with a message from Sophie. Opening the chat, he read:

Sophie: Congrats, Burke International's new CEO

Odie was baffled: "What new CEO of Burke International?"

Jones, glancing over, said, "Ms. Sophie probably means she's secured the CEO position at Burke International for you, boss."

"Really? That quickly?" Odie questioned, frowning. "Is becoming Burke International's CEO that straightforward? Sophie was only back for two days, and she's already nailed it?" Jonah chimed in, "It must be something Ms. Sophie pulled off."

Paul let out a derisive snort. "Of course. Someone as cunning and sharp as Sophie is rare. How could a simple Elodie stand a chance against her?"
