Inside the Burke Estate, Adler and Jenna lugged a massive chest downstairs.

Jenna, exhausted, put her hands on her hips. "Man, that old lady sure knows how to hoard! What's in here that's so heavy?"

Adler chuckled. "Didn't we see it before? Jewelry and, oh yeah, fifty kilograms of gold bars."

Jenna rolled her eyes, still panting. "Fifty kilograms? I thought it was a lot more."

"Just fifty kilograms? That's still worth about three million dollars!"

As Adler spoke, he opened the chest. They had previously looked through it but hadn't done a thorough search. This time, they were on a mission to replace items similar to the sapphire ring, which meant sifting through a treasure trove of jewelry-a daunting task. "This old lady's collection is something else. You can see these pieces are decades old."

"Could it be part of her dowry? Dowries can be super valuable!"

Jenna's eyes sparkled at the thought.

Sophie chimed in, "Who knows, but it's probably worth a couple hundred million."

Jenna picked up a necklace and draped it around her neck. "This one's nice, right? Worth over a million."

Adler nodded earnestly. "Gorgeous!"

"If you like it, it's yours," Sophie offered generously.

Jenna was taken aback and hesitated. "I thought this stuff was just collateral? The old lady doesn't want it back?"

"She doesn't want it," Sophie confirmed.

"How do you know? Did she say so?"

"To get back the Burke family shares, she's definitely letting these go."

Adler, puzzled, asked, "Wait, what's happening?"

Colby explained, "Sophie's trading all the jewelry this old woman has,

of the Burke family's sharpercent

Adler's eyes widened. "Wow! The old lady agreed to that?"

"She will," Sophie said confidently. "Bea has dedicated most of her life to the Burke family. What she values most is the family itself. These items, while precious, can't be

liquidated quickly. Except for then et

gold, which is worth three million dollars, the rest are pretty much useless. But having shares in the Burke family changes everything. She'd have a say in the family and get monthly dividends. If it were you or me, we might choose the treasures, but Bea would definitely go for the shares."

Jenna thought it over and nodded. "Makes sense! Someone as power-hungry as that old lady. wouldn't let go of control over the Burke family. Even if it's just ten percent, she'll grab it."

Sophie picked up a ring and examined it. "This ring... its quality is impeccable, just like the one Harold gave me."

She pulled out the gift from Harold.

Jenna said, "I remember the Gordons have testing equipment at their place. I'll go grab it!"

"I'll come with you!" Adler said, and they both ran upstairs.

Downstairs, Sophie scrutinized the gemstones, then took out the one Colby had given her before. "Colby, how did you get this ring?"

"An international auction," Colby replied. "I remembered my mother had one similar, so I bought it." "Mrs. Costello had one too?" Sophie asked, surprised.

"Yeah."

"Where is that ring?"
