Sophie stood in shock as Odie approached. "How did you get here?" she asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

Odie didn't even glance her way, his face dark with anger as he closed in on Griffin. Without warning, he slugged Griffin right in the face. Griffin tried to fight back, but Odie was relentless, pinning him down and landing punch after punch. Griffin was helpless, taking the beating with no way to defend himself.

"Life's cheap, huh? Is that how you see it?" Odie snarled, grabbing Griffin by the collar and delivering another blow. "Say that again, I dare you!"

Griffin stumbled back, almost falling, but Odie wasn't finished. He yanked Griffin by the collar again and kicked him against the wall. "Don't forget, it was me and Colby who saved your life! You think it's easy to throw it away as bait? Do you even value your life?!" "Who hasn't had a rough past? So what? I'm the one running things in Summerfield, getting whatever I want!" Griffin shot back.

"And you? A worthless life? Just because someone saved you, you're ready to toss it away for them? Is that fair to me? To Colby? To yourself?"

"If you think your life's so worthless, you should've stayed on the streets begging! Fighting dogs for scraps! You had no business with the White family! No business becoming a hitman! No business clinging to this miserable existence!" With a final kick, Odie drew blood from Griffin.

Spitting out a mouthful of blood,

Odie seemed to calm down a bit. "All you know is killing, bowing down, begging for mercy when you lose! You can't shake those bad habits! If you really cared about your woman, you'd protect her yourself instead of relying on others! Colby thinks I'm brainless, but you're the real idiot here!"

Odie ripped off his tie and threw it down in front of Griffin. "You think you're tough? What good are those fists if you're just a waste? If you

really think your life is worthless net

then die! Pay back the life you owe me and Colby! Go on, die! And when you do, leave your woman to deal with your body! Without you, who's gonna protect her?"

Griffin, enraged by Odie's words, clenched his fists and got up, landing a punch on Odie. "You think I wanted this? You think I enjoy this?"

"Who wants to be born a beggar? Who wants to grovel and beg for mercy?"

Griffin fought back, punch after

punch. "I want to live! I don't want to die! It's a dog-eat-dog world, that's just how it is! I owe you my life! But don't forget, I killed for you so you could survive! We promised to be brother's for life! And then what? You left me alone to fend for myself overseas! I didn't want to be some overseas king or the ruler of Summerfield! I just wanted to live with dignity! Why did you abandon me?"

As Griffin's strength faded, his arms fell limply to his sides. Odie, now also bloodied, wiped his lip.

"No one's abandoning anyone. We can't rely on each other forever."

Odie glanced at Colby, who was standing behind Sophie. "Colby, we promised to be brothers for life. When you pushed us away, what was that all about? Now that we're all here, give us an explanation."
