The distance seemed just a few yards, but Molly's vision blurred as tears welled up in her eyes. The woman smiled tenderly, "Don't cry, sweetheart. Mom's always been here to protect you." Molly wiped her tears, "Mom, I'm getting married, but it hurts so much. You know Chad, right?" "Molly, Mom has to go, but he'll be there to protect you in my stead."

As the dream's light faded, Molly saw her mother start to walk away. She ran towards her, trying with all her might, yet feeling unable to move fast, crying out, "Mom, don't go, I miss you so much." "Molly, Molly, wake up, it's time to get ready." Mia, in her nightgown, gently shook Molly's shoulder, looking just as sleepy.

The makeup artist had arrived at 4 AM, but after numerous attempts, the housemaid couldn't get the door open and had to wake up Ms. Mia instead.

Molly had a restless sleep, her eyelashes wet with tears, staining her red pillow.

"Molly, wake up."

Slowly coming to, she rubbed her eyes, seeing her sister standing by, "Mia, what are you doing here?"

"It's 4:30, time to get ready. Anya and Stephania are already up."

Molly quickly sat up, realizing her alarm hadn't woken her.

"Had a nightmare?" Mia, upon seeing her tears earlier, inquired.

Molly denied, "A beautiful dream, I saw our mom."

Mia smiled, "Then she's definitely watching over you today. Come on, get washed up. Your eyes are all puffy; I'll go get you some eye patches."

After she left, a maid came in to tidy up the red bedding.

Outside, the sky was still dark. Mia returned to check on the little ones, who had stayed up until midnight, now soundly asleep. Andre was also awakened by a maid, "How's Molly?"

"She's fine, just deeply into her dream." Mia, preparing to leave with some skincare products, reminded, "Honey, check if the little one's sweating. If he's hot, take off his blanket. I'll go stay with Molly." The photographer was gathering materials at the Cedillo household, preparing for the video shoot later.

Leo, also up early, stepped into Molly's room, surrounded by her bridesmaids, "Jade, want anything to eat?"

"I'm not hungry."

"Then I'll grab something random for you. Mia, you want anything?" he asked.

"Whatever's in the kitchen. We'll have elders over soon, go change and help your uncle with the hosting," Mia directed.

Anya and Stephania had their own makeup artists. Leo then checked on Anya, "Hungry?"

"Starving," she managed to say through the makeup artist's work.

"I knew it. Hang on."

Soon, Leo returned with hot milk and some breakfast pastries.

Andre left at 5 am to check on his sister before calling their father.

The couple kept checking on their little one, ensuring he was still asleep.

At the Byrne household, Chad had hardly slept, his home filled with younger siblings and cousins.

Many relatives had arrived from their hometown, bringing along a bunch of kids.

"Big bro, why's my little Jade sister your bride?" asked Chad's young cousin, fondly attached to Jade for always playing games with him. Seeing this, the adults corrected the child, "Lei Lei, Molly's no longer your sister; you should call her sister-in-law."

Chad, amused, tousled his cousin's hair, "Today, I'm marrying your sister Molly."

The relatives, particularly the younger ones, were curious about their older cousin's affections, bombarding Chad with questions. "Give your brother a break, his heart's all with Molly today," the elders teased.

Chad, the most excited today, was busy hosting in the living room.

When the videographer arrived, even Chad had to sit down for makeup.

Back at the Cedillo household, after a light breakfast, Molly, still in her robe with her bridesmaids, started the photo shoot.

"The bride has a nephew, right? Where's the little guy? Let's get a picture with his auntie," the photographer called out.

Molly, pointing at Leo in his slippers and pajamas, laughed, "Come over here, pose with your aunt."

"Over my dead body," Leo retorted, feeling insulted.

The photographer was stunned, not expecting the 'nephew' to be an adult.

Apologizing, Molly clarified, "Sorry, my two nephews are decades apart."

"Where's the little one then? We were hoping to see that cute bundle of joy," the photographer inquired.

The mother, slightly embarrassed, replied, "My little treasure is still dreaming in his crib."

Seeing Leo, the photographer beckoned, "Big nephew first."

Leo protested, "Me, in pajamas with my aunt in her robe? That's asking for trouble."

Realizing the oversight, sleepy little Henry was dressed by his mother and brought out to pose with his beautiful aunt.

After the shots, the 'little model' Henry returned to his mother's arms to continue his slumber.

The Cedillo family's backyard, bedrooms, fountain, and garden became vibrant scenes for the photoshoot, capturing moments nonstop.

When it was time for the traditional dress, Molly requested, "Leo, Mia, let's take a picture together."

This time, Leo, dressed meticulously, joined Molly and Mia for a memorable shot, symbolizing their unbreakable bond now formalized into family ties.

The little one, awoken by the commotion, was dressed in red, more festive than his aunt's dress, his outfit adorned with dragon and phoenix embroidery, looking around curiously.

As he regained his energy, he was once again the center of attention, posing with Molly and Leo, marking a day filled with laughter, love, and family unity.

Leo was grumbling again, his tone loaded with a mix of irritation and resignation, "An aunt tying the knot and somehow, I, the nephew, have to be in the photos. So much fuss over nothing." "Henry, doesn't Auntie look beautiful today?" Molly asked, her head adorned with a bridal tiara, the delicate tassels behind her ears swaying gently.

Henry's gaze wasn't really on his aunt; he was more fascinated by the moving tassels.

Weddings seemed like such a hassle to the little guy that he just dozed off again, unimpressed.

Around seven o'clock, the Cedillo family's living room was bustling with relatives. Aunts and uncles from all over gathered, filling the room with laughter and chatter.

Sleeping Henry became the mascot of the evening, a darling everyone wanted to behold, and each visitor couldn't resist the urge to scoop him up for a cuddle.
